Ben Nelson will air a new TV ad in which he attempts to debunk opposition claims that the Senate legislation represents a government takeover, and he makes the case for health care reform.

He didn't listen to you, so why should you listen to him. Shut this Judas off and vote his butt out first chance you have. I don't live in his state, but I plan to contribute to his opponent.

Nelson betrayed his pro-life supporters when he agreed to compromise language prohibiting federal funding of abortions. Now, he must pay the piper.

Another Teachable Moment?

Now it seems that the CIA knew about terrorist Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab. His Father talked to someone from the CIA and a report was prepared, but the report was not circulated outside the agency, according to a CNN source.

Let's see who would be responsible for that? Why Leon Panetta, another of Obama's brilliant picks. Why when the nation is under attack in the "War Which Must Not Be Mentioned" would you put someone with almost no hands on intelligence and counterterrorism experience in charge of the CIA?

Barack Obama is responsible for Janet Napolitano, Leon Panetta and the total failure of their respective agencies. Barack Obama has failed to protect this nation and speeches about not resting and systemic failure just won't suffice as a response.

We need a leader not a teleprompter reader.

UPDATE: The U.S. government had received intelligence from Yemen -- before the attempted airplane bombing -- that a Nigerian was being prepared for a terrorist attack by a branch of al-Qaeda in Yemen, the New York Times reported on Wednesday. We had the guy's name, his plan and where he was trained and the Obamamites still couldn't put the pieces together. Oh yeah, I want them handling my health care. Incompetent buffoons.

Totally Unacceptable

As usual Obama is so vague that what he says is meaningless. He announced today that a "mix of human and systemic failure" allowed a terror suspect to board a U.S. airliner in the attempted bombing on Christmas Day.

"The warning signs would have triggered red flags and the suspect would have never been allowed to board that plane for America," Obama said. "A systemic failure has occurred, and I consider that totally unacceptable."

Can you elucidate, Mr. President, as in who, what and how? We Americans also find what happened unacceptable and we hold you responsible.

How Stupid is Janet Napolitano?

How Stupid is Janet Napolitano? Apparently her picture could be used next to the word idiot in the dictionary.

First, this woman says the system worked because the crew avoided panic, the passengers subdued the terrorist and authorities notified other flights in the air and kept the air transport system operating.

"The whole process of making sure that we respond properly, correctly and effectively went very smoothly," Napolitano said.

If the terrorist had succeeded in bringing the plane down, a very real possibility, would the response to that if orderly and procedural have also meant the system worked? No, of course not. Janet you are an imbecile.

Now, she's trying to blame Bush. Napolitano admits the system failed miserably, but repeatedly points out it was a system put in place while George W. Bush was President. White House spokesman Baghdad Bob Gibbs made similar statements.

Why then, just days before this terrorist attack, did the U.S. Department of Homeland Security release its “2009 Accomplishments & Reforms” fact sheet, touting its “Secure Flight” passenger vetting program. Whose watch did that happen under Janet. You, you moronic blame shifter.

Janet says there is no indication that the man who attempted to destroy an airliner in Detroit on Christmas Day is part of a larger terrorist plot. She refused to say whether Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab has a connection to al-Qaida, citing the ongoing criminal investigation.

Yet, in a tape released four days before the attempted destruction of the Detroit-bound Northwest plane, the leader of al Qaeda in Yemen boasted of what was planned for Americans, saying, "We are carrying a bomb to hit the enemies of God."And, the terrorist told FBI agents there were more just like him in Yemen who would strike soon. Janet you are an incompetent cretin.

As I have said before this woman did nothing to protect the Arizona border with Mexico when she was governor, in fact she often worked against apprehending illegals who were massively invading the state.

Why would you put such a person in charge of Homeland Security. Tell us President Obama, explain this line item on your list of horrendous appointments. The system failed, Napolitano failed and you, Barack Obama failed. Blame no one else, it happened on your watch.

The Napolitano System of Failure Works

Now, we all know what Janet Napolitano's plan is for protecting the nation. She is relying on those right wing extremists she's been keeping an eye on.

Napolitano said Sunday that the thwarting of the attempt to blow up an Amsterdam-Detroit airline flight Christmas Day by passengers demonstrated that "the system worked."

So apparently the system means we are all to protect ourselves and no longer rely on the keystone cops of Homeland Security. Always good at closing the barn door after the horses are out, her department announced it has significantly increased the number of air marshals on flights since the failed Christmas terrorist attack. And by the way, Janet, thanks for letting the terrorists know that.

Asked by CNN's Candy Crowley on "State of the Union" how the system worked when the Nigerian who has been charged with trying to set off the bomb was able to smuggle explosive liquid onto the jet, Napolitano responded: "We're asking the same questions."

Ask this question: how long must we tolerate your incompetency?

Baucus Snags Otis Campbell Award

I don't know if it was in memory of Teddy Kennedy or a tribute to Chris Dodd, but Max Baucus certainly gave his best Foster Brooks impression this weekend.

He should have been gone after trying to snag his girlfriend the US attorney job. Still, it is both disgraceful and amusing to have this lush babbling on the Senate floor.
He keeps asking, "Where's the courage?" Someone should have responded, "You drank it all."

Merry Christmas from Islamomania

Seasons Greetings from the religion of peace and tolerance. An attempted terrorist attack on a Christmas Day flight by a Nigerian man who claimed to be acting on orders from al-Qaida reminds us once again that the Muslim terrorists will stop at nothing to harm innocent people.

Nothing else needs to be said. other than our reluctance to bring real war to these savages simply gives them greater opportunity to harm civilization.

We need a leader with courage and armed with the approval to let loose the dogs of war.

Ben Nelson has proven himself to be worse than the pro-abortionists of his party. He was the wolf in sheep's clothing. After pretending to align himself with Democrats for Life, Nebraska Right to Life, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and pro-life Michigan Representative Democrat Bart Stupak, he opted for the almighty dollar over human life.

I would rather deal any day with an honest man who disagrees with me, than a craven individual who feigns morals that he truly does not embrace.

The office of Nelson says their phone lines are jammed with calls from angry constituents. Good, this should cost him his job and even though he's not from my state, I will contribute to whoever runs against him.

Now, the White House is pressuring Stupak. Let's all pray he is made of significantly sterner stuff than Nelson.

Trend vs Hiccup

An AP story says the number of newly laid off workers filing claims for unemployment benefits unexpectedly rose last week as the recovery of the nation's battered labor market proceeds in fits and starts. Unexpected? Maybe by the clueless cabal of Obamamites that are tinkering with things far over their heads, but to anyone with a modicum of economic smarts it is not unexpected.

Just because the anointed one in his weekly address on December 5th said that the job loss trend is improving, doesn't make it so. Hoping things change isn't going to cut it. We need to unleash the power of the American people. This administration isn't going to let that happen. They will keep referring to any improvement as a trend and any negative will be only a hiccup. All they have is smoke, mirrors, and spin so what else can they do?

Monster on the Loose

It's so nice to see Democrats bitten by the dog they've fed for so long. Howard Dean, the former party chairmaniac is now the most vocal opponent of the Senate health care bill, calling for the Senate to kill the package and writing in a column that it would "do more harm than good" for the country. It's amazing how sometimes nuts like Dean can come up with the exact right answer for entirely the wrong reason.

Another left wing nut, Steny Hoyer said the House would not rubber stamp the Senate bill once it returns to his chamber.

The war is on and the donks will have to battle the extremist monster they've been feeding and caring for if they want to give Obama his bill. You can't get entertainment like this anywhere else.

Strong Indications Part Deux

On Monday I wrote a little piece about Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons. Now, Iran's defense minister states that Iran has tested an upgraded version of a surface-to-surface missile with a range that makes it capable of reaching parts of Europe. I presume that includes parts of Russia. Are you listening Mr. Putin? Do you remember what the last Hitler did to the motherland?

Of course, Israel and U.S. military bases in the Gulf would also be reachable.

How many more indicators do we require? Why is the world led by Neville Chamberlains and without even one Winston Churchill?

And now, this little gem. Confidential intelligence documents obtained by The Times show that Iran is working on testing a key final component of a nuclear bomb. How nice. And does this come as a shock to anyone. If not, what has the world been waiting for? Have we such short memories that we need to enable a new Hitler with poor personal hygiene?

The technical document describes the use of a neutron source, uranium deuteride, which independent experts confirm has no possible civilian or military use other than in a nuclear weapon. Uranium deuteride is the material used in Pakistan’s bomb, from where Iran obtained its blueprint. “Although Iran might claim that this work is for civil purposes, there is no civil application,” said David Albright, a physicist and president of the Institute for Science and International Security in Washington, which has analysed hundreds of pages of documents related to the Iranian programme. “This is a very strong indicator of weapons work.”

Senator Max Bacchus, oops I mean Baucus, has been caught with his pants down again. It now comes out that he gave nearly a $14,000 pay raise to a female staffer in 2008, at the time he was becoming romantically involved with her, and later that year took her on a taxpayer-funded trip to Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Once again, I submit that this scoundrel is unfit for office and should resign immediately. Those who compromise themselves by even giving the appearance of impropriety are unfit to serve. If we are not going to expect reasonable moral behavior and high integrity from our leadership, how can we expect our nation to survive?

A little boy wanted $100.00 very badly and prayed for weeks, but nothing happened.

Then he decided to write God a letter requesting the $100.00. When the postal authorities received the letter addressed to God, USA, they decided to send it to the president. The president was so amused that he instructed his secretary to send the little boy a $5.00 bill. The president thought this would appear to be a lot of money to a little boy.

The little boy was delighted with the $5.00 bill and sat down to write a thank you note to God, which read:

Defense Secretary Robert Gates said he expects Iran to face "significant" new sanctions over its nuclear program. Can we have some specifics? What sanctions are going to change the policies of the this psychotic regime?

These constant empty threats about the world running out of patience and impending impotent consequences have become to much to bear.

It is time to state openly and frankly that the world, including the US, has neither the will nor the fortitude to prevent the insane from doing whatever they want. Norwegians are incensed over his poor response to the Nobel prize which he doesn't even deserve. And, what happened to Obama making the whole world love us again. I mean it's not easy to tick off the Norwegians, but somehow our president has accomplished it. Way to go Barack.

CNS has been asking Democrats if it is morally right to use tax dollars from pro-life taxpayers to pay for insurance plans that cover abortion. The answers they get reveal that the donks have long ago abandoned the use of any moral compass. It is no wonder they are plagued by corruption, loss of integrity and lack of ethics. Human life in its most innocent form is irrelevant to them.

The question: Do you think it is morally right to use taxpayer money of pro-life Americans to help pay for insurance plans that cover abortion?

Senator Daniel Akaka (D-Hawaii) response: "Well, that remains to be decided by an--we need to discuss all of these. I think that this is something that we have to consider and as we look at abortion, what about diabetes, what about--you know, there are others, and we need to be a little more general than be specific."

In this deluded fools mind abortion somehow is on a par with diabetes. This man is voting on what will be law?

CNS follow up question: OK, so is abortion on the same level as diabetes, would you say?

Senator Akaka's brilliant reply: "Well, it’s one of the issues. It’s one of the issues."

The issue here is Senator Akaka, a fool who needs to be turned out of office at the earliest possible moment.

CNS asked the same question of Senator Dianne Feinstein (D.-Calif.) Here is her reply: "Is it morally correct? Yes, I believe it is. Abortion is legal, and there (are) certain very tragic circumstances that a woman finds herself in. Married, with an unborn baby that’s unable to survive outside of the womb, her doctor tells her it’s a threat to her health. I think she ought to have a policy available to her. "

So according to Dianne legality equals morality. Interesting, she would have done well working for the Nazis, but she would have paid a price at Nuremberg.

CNS follow up question: "So it’s morally right for pro-life taxpayers to have to help pay for plans that cover abortion?"

Feinstein's response: "Please. We pay for a lot of things that we may or may not agree with, and taxpayers pay for it, for those things, as well."

And in Dianne's morally compromised mind that makes it all ok. You can tell she doesn't even want to be bothered weighing the morality of a question. Please, it's all about political power. Go away God you bother me.

Senator Barbara Boxer, the other devil's Democrat daughter from California, compared coverage of abortion to coverage of viagra. She was joined in this insane comparison by Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) who said that he wanted his daughters and granddaughters to have access to it. Frank wants to give the gift of baby murder to his own babies. God help us. These people make Lady Macbeth sound like Mother Teresa.

We can no longer allow the morally and ethically bankrupt to run our nation. We need people of integrity to rise up and stand in the gap. It is time, it is right and it must happen now.

He Means It This Time!

Still warning of strong sanctions against Pyongyang, Barack Obama's envoy began a trip to North Korea Tuesday for talks with the communist nation. Stephen Bosworth's mission is to find out whether North Korea will return to talks on ending its nuclear programs after carrying out an atomic test blast in May and quitting negotiations.

It seems Obama's dog is good at barking, but his dog is toothless. North Korea knows it, Iran knows it, Venezuela knows it, Al Qaeda knows it, the whole world knows it. We might as well stop all this foolish posturing and assume Obama's favorite posture which is bowing.

Our economy is in shambles and continues to deteriorate. A smaller loss of jobs during a month and a dip in unemployment to 10% now constitutes not an anomaly, but a positive trend. Yet, no one in the press challenges such nonsense. The morons in the media still dance to Barack's piping.

Meanwhile the naked emperor prattles on about global warning, universal health care and fixing Afghanistan in 18 months. Can we survive three more years?

Here is another reason why we have to clean out Washington and start over.

Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus, Democrat from Montana was romantically involved with a former staffer when he recommended her earlier this year to become the next U.S. attorney for Montana. He and his former state office director Melodee Hanes began their relationship in the summer of 2008 after Baucus separated from his wife.

Here's the best part.

Ty Matsdorf, a spokesman for Baucus, said Baucus' relationship with his girlfriend had nothing to do with his decision.

"Senator Baucus recommended each of the three candidates based solely on qualifications, and merit, knowing whichever one the White House selected would serve Montana well," Matsdorf said.

Let's pretend for a moment that this is true, although I highly doubt it. Is the senator unaware of a little thing called "conflict of interest?" Is he so dense he cannot see the ethical problem here? If so, he is unfit to serve. Either way the slime ball needs to step down and go away.

Cut Up Your AARP Card, They Have Betrayed You

Despite polls showing seniors are concerned about their benefits, the Senate has voted to keep significant Medicare cuts in its health care overhaul bill. The Democrats again showed their disdain for the will of the American people. It's time their health care is put to a vote in a general election and we, the people, can start cutting their entitlements.

John McCain, proposing to strip Medicare cuts from the bill and send the whole measure back to committee, found he was opposed by the AARP lobby which is supposed to have seniors' welfare at heart. In reality it is a left wing organization hoping to cloak itself in the benign garb of helping the elderly.

McCain had it right when he instructed seniors from the Senate floor, "Take your AARP card, cut it in half and send it back. They've betrayed you."

Indeed, like the rest of the leftist weasels in this nation, the AARP is good at betrayal.

The Karma Just Ran Over Cooper's Dogma

The chickens have flown the coop. Anderson Cooper is fading in the ratings. What goes around comes around and the gay promoter of "emo-journalism" has a lot coming back to him.

There's no longer George Bush to kick around anymore and after Lou Dobbs announced his resignation, CNN suffered a 25% decline among all viewers in Dobbs' 7pm time slot, and a 26% decline among adults 25-54. Isn't that interesting.

Don't worry about Anderson though he's doing what he does best. According to the New York Post, Cooper has been consoling himself over falling ratings by living it up in Jaipur, India, at one of the world's most opulent hotels. The CNN "star" was spotted Tuesday with his muscular friend, Benjamin Maisani, an owner of East Village gay bar Eastern Bloc.

The Post quoted its source as saying, "Anderson's room has a large round bathtub. On the first night it was filled with bubbles and sprinkled with red rose petals." Isn't that special?

CNN declined to comment. Awww, I wonder why.

Chris Matthews Names the Enemy

Chris Matthews let his true feelings slip last night. Referring to Obama's choice of West Point to give his speech Matthews said, "The president chose to address tonight and I thought it was interesting. He went to maybe the enemy camp tonight to make his case."

Yes to people like Matthews the military is the enemy. Later he tried to cover his treachery by saying, “Maybe earlier tonight I used the wrong phrase, ‘enemy camp.’”

Yeah Chris, it's the wrong phrase because you put your honest feelings on display. The Obama presidency has caused vermin like Matthews to be less careful about their hatred of our nation, American values and the military. Keep it up Chris, the day of reckoning will be here sooner than you think.

Raise Your Hand and Save Your Watch Tonight

Tonight Obama will speak. It will be a speech designed to please all the people all of the time and it will wind up pleasing no one. Our miltary will be the biggest losers as they have been for the last three months that Obama wasted in hand wringing.

With a commander in chief who cannot and will not embrace the task of taking the war to our enemies, our troops are handicapped from the start. We have a fool for a vice president who is only interested in retreat. We are in a world of hurt.

The left, like Michael Moore, are already complaining and spewing their hate. Barack and his boys are politicians and if they have to compromise national security to advance their agenda, well so be it. They need the liberals to gain socialized medecine and further cripple this country.
