It's Not About Immigration, Obama Tells Mexico

US National Guard troops being sent to the Mexican border will be used to stem the flow of guns and drugs across the frontier and not to enforce our immigration laws. This was announced after Mexico petitioned the administration not to use the troops to go after illegal immigrants. It's nice to know Barack Obama listens more to Mexico than to the American people.

State Department spokesman Philip Crowley told reporters, "It's not about immigration." Isn't that interesting. "We have explained the president's announcement to the government of Mexico and they fully understand the rationale behind it," Crowley said.

Isn't that great? I guess when Obama talked about transparency he meant with everyone except the American people. We can't get an explanation about the White House job offer to
Joe Sestak, but Obama can fully explain the movement of American troops on American soil to the Mexican government.

Meanwhile, the Feds have issued a terror alert for the Mexican border with Texas, but no troops are being used to lock that border down. In fact, Obama has ignored pleas for assistance from the governor of Texas for a year and a half. Governor Rick Perry has sent letters to Obama, Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano requesting troops. Perry should ask Felipe Calderon to make the request for him.

This administration must go and the sooner, the better.

Too Little, Too Late

Our feckless leader is planning to deploy troops to our southern border. He has requested 1,200 National Guard troops and $500 million for "enhanced border protection and law enforcement." The Guard would be used to "provide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance support," as well as support "counternarcotics enforcement" and provide "training capacity" until the Border Patrol can bring more officers on board. The additional funding would be used to improve border security technology and increase the number of agents, investigators and prosecutors targeting drug, human and weapons traffickers.

Translation? This minuscule number of troops will provide no additional security and is a pathetic political ploy to assuage public anger. Of course, Gabrielle Giffords the administration's quisling for Cochise County, Arizona praised the president. She needs to be gone in the next election.

As for the additional funds. They will be squandered like the other millions that have been spent on nonsense like the virtual fence that prevents virtually no one from invading us. The only thing that will save our sovereignty is deporting all the politicians out of Washington and replacing them with American patriots.

Brought to You By Barack Obama

A USA TODAY analysis of government data has found that paychecks from private businesses shrank to the smallest share of personal income in U.S. history during the first quarter of this year. Meanwhile, government-provided benefits from Social Security, unemployment insurance, food stamps and other programs rose to a record high during the first three months of 2010.

That means that personal income is shifting to being derived from government programs instead of from wages earned in private business. It doesn't require an economic genius to quickly ascertain that this is an unsustainable situation. The federal government needs private wages so it can tax them to pay for its give away programs.

The destruction of our economic system continues under this administration and one can only hope we will not be too late to stop it come the elections.

Shades of Nixon

Not since Nixon have we seen such a shady administration. Representative Joe Sestak says the White House offered him a job if he skipped the Pennsylvania Senate primary and allowed Arlen Specter to win the nomination.

The White House propaganda minister, Robert Gibbs, won't say if Sestak was offered a job, but he does say White House lawyers and others have looked into the matter.

"I'm not a lawyer. But lawyers in the White House and others have looked into conversations that were had with Congressman Sestak. And nothing inappropriate happened," Gibbs told CBS' "Face the Nation."

"I'm not going to get further into what the conversations were. People that have looked into them assure me that they weren't inappropriate in any way," he said.

Well, that's not good enough Baghdad Bob, the American people want to decide if what took place was appropriate. This kind of obfuscation is reminiscent of Nixon's offering transcripts of his infamous tapes, but not the tapes themselves. This is not a matter of national security, so tell the public what you offered Sestak and let public opinion decide if it was appropriate.

Angry Little Men

North Korea has warned that any retaliation for the sinking of the South Korean warship Cheonan will trigger war. This land of lunacy should have been dealt with years ago, but America didn't have the leadership to do it then and surely we have no leadership at all now. At this point we are left with an angry narrow minded little man running the country, America or North Korea take your pick.

Beware the Obama Endorsement

Arlen Specter, a five-term incumbent who switched from Republican to Democrat last year in hopes of keeping his Pennsylvania seat, became the fourth Democrat in seven months to lose a high-profile race despite the president's active involvement. The Obama team can spin all it wants, but there is no denying that Barack's endorsement has been the kiss of death.

To top things off another Obama favorite Blanche Lincoln was forced into a runoff in Arkansas' Democratic senatorial primary. Add Lincoln and Specter to Jon Corzine's failed re-election bid in New Jersey, Creigh Deeds' losing run for governor in Virginia and Martha Coakley's defeat in Massachusetts and for the Democrats you have another fine mess you've gotten us into, Barack.

Do As I Say

When the LA Times starts pointing out that you're a liberal hypocrite, it's an event. It doesn't call it that, preferring to use the term opacity, the quality or state of being mentally obtuse.

You see Obama signed legislation to encourage press freedoms around the world. It is meant to send a message to other governments that they are being watched in their treatment of news media, Barack said. Then he refused to take any questions from the U.S. news media.

That is not being obtuse, it is being arrogant and the U.S. media has brought this on itself. In a way, it's so richly deserved one has to laugh at their obtuseness.

Obama To Force Feed Amnesty to Americans

According to WND, a division of the Department of Homeland Security already has drafted a plan for processing 13 million illegal alien applicants for amnesty in a 30-week period at an estimated cost of $1 billion.

Was there ever any doubt that this administration would be back with its next step to undermine the American way of life?

There is no way the American people will accept an amnesty for those who regard our laws as a mere inconvenience. We must begin at once to prepare for battle against this tyranny.

Eric Holder, Simply A Leftist Tool

He can't say for sure if radical Islam was even a motivating factor for the individuals responsible for the Fort Hood shooting, the attempted Christmas Day bombing and the attempted Times Square attack, BUT he can tell you that the Arizona law he hasn't yet read is "unfortunate" and may be unconstitutional.

Please, this idiot is not interested in serving the American people as Attorney General. He is there to use the office to assist Obama's subversive agenda any way he can. He will ignore the letter of the law and the spirit of the law as long as it serves to undermine America and profit the leftist traitors in this country.

Arizona Responds to the Will of the People

A strong majority of Americans support Arizona's new immigration law and would back similar laws in their own states, according to three new polls released Wednesday.
  • 64 percent of registered voters said they favored the law in a survey of 1,016 adults conducted May 6-9 by the McClatchy-Ipsos poll.
  • Some 73 percent of those surveyed by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press said they approved of the provision that requires people to provide proof of their legal status, compared with 23 percent who disapproved. A further 67 percent were in favor of allowing police to detain anyone unable to verify their legal status, while 62 percent supported police having the power to question anyone they believed may in the country illegally.
  • A NBC/WSJ poll found sixty-four percent favor this law, while 34 percent oppose it.
It looks like most of the opposition comes from those pandering to Hispanic hysteria whipped up by the insane liberals.

We Must Be Doing Something Right

Arizona's new law on illegal immigration could violate international standards that are binding in the United States, six U.N. human rights "experts" said Tuesday.

In a statement, they said: "States are required to respect and ensure the human rights of all persons subject to their jurisdiction, without discrimination. One of them is Jorge Bustamante of Mexico. I'm sure he's an unbiased "expert."

Human rights and the UN. This is the organization that just gave a seat to Iran on its Commission on the Status of Women, which supposedly works to promote gender equality. In Iran, women are required to be covered from head to toe in public, and may be beaten for dressing in what is considered an “immodest” manner. Earlier this month a top Iranian cleric blamed immodest women for earthquakes.

Why we continue to associate ourselves with such a ridiculous and irrelevant waste of time and money is a mystery. But, if the UN and the ACLU are up in arms, we must be doing the right thing.

You Lie, Again, Oh Great Prevaricator

On Sunday, Obama told Hampton University’s graduating class that he does not “know how to work” an iPod.

“You’re coming of age in a 24/7 media environment that bombards us with all kinds of content and exposes us to all kinds of arguments, some of which don’t always rank that high on the truth meter,” Obama said.

“And with iPods and iPads, and Xboxes and PlayStations -- none of which I know how to work, information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation. So all of this is not only putting pressure on you. It’s putting new pressure on our country and on our democracy.”

What's putting pressure on our democracy is the leadership of lies and deceit that permeates this administration. You see, less than a year ago when discussing Michael Jackson, Obama said, "So, you know, I think that Michael Jackson is, will go down in history as one of our greatest entertainers. I grew up on his music. Still have all his stuff on my iPod."

So which is it, oh great prevaricator? Which lie will you stand by? And what other lies have you told us and what new ones will you tell us tomorrow? Then you wonder why your place of birth is suspect.

I Stand With Arizona

Let us shun those who boycott us for protecting ourselves and our property. California is a bankrupt joke and should mind its own affairs. Those who choose not to come here, we are better off without.

Here Come The Judge

Now, all you people who voted for the Joker for president will cause us to pay a very steep price. He is about to place a person on the Supreme Court and it will not bode well for our nation.

Sources are saying he will nominate U.S. Solicitor General Elena Kagan today. If that is the case, we will have a very anti-military individual on the court. That is not what we need in these dangerous times, but it certainly fits the Obama agenda of weakening our country.

Our blood will be on the hands of those who voted for this charlatan.

Times Square Terrorist Was Dubai Bound

A man believed to be the driver of the vehicle used as a car bomb in Times Square has been apprehended by federal and local police. He was trying to leave the country and guess where he was headed, Dubai.

His name is Faisal Shahzad and he was born in Pakistan. Now, after we have granted him the privilege of becoming an American citizen, he tries to kill us.

Why? Because many of these people have no loyalty us despite the fact that they take an oath. It is meaningless. They will say or do anything to get into our country, but they hate us and have no intention of assimilating into our culture.

More than a dozen people with American citizenship or residency, like Shahzad, have been accused in the past two years of supporting or carrying out terrorism attempts on U.S. soil. That tells you we have a problem and it needs immediate fixing. The only thing we know for sure is that this administration hasn't the courage or the will to do it. They are a big part of the problem.

Another Unprecedented Event

Barack loves the word unprecedented. The financial collapse was unprecedented and called for unprecedented action. He had an unprecedented meeting with students in China. He promised an unprecedented effort to root out waste and inefficiency (good luck with that).

Now, we have the "potentially unprecedented"oil leak. And because it is "potentially unprecedented" it will require a "relentless" government effort, which translates into more government control and higher costs and taxes. Also, it means if it takes a long time to stop the leak and fix the damage no one should hold Obama responsible. This guy really is the Joker.
