Hezbollah Has Crossed The Border

This Could be the next demonstration you see in Los Angeles

During a House Appropriations subcommittee hearing on Tuesday, FBI Director Robert Mueller reported that the agency broke up a smuggling ring organized by the terrorist group Hezbollah. He admitted that Hezbollah had smuggled some operatives across the Mexican border to carry out possible terrorist attacks inside the U.S.

Mueller told the committee, "That was an organization that we dismantled and identified those persons who had been smuggled in. And they have been addressed as well.”

It is well known that al-Qaida has its eye on the Mexican border. In November, an al-Qaida operative who was on the FBI's terrorist watch list was captured right near it.

So why is there debate about protecting our Achilles heel? Why are so many of our government officials, including our president and wanna be presidents, McCain, Clinton, Kerry et al so willing to leave us vulnerable for the sake of some votes. If a potential candidate were to tackle this problem , minus the meaningless slogans and with some backbone, they would be swept into office.

What these short sighted, power hungry, ego maniacs who "represent" us fail to realize is that should a terrorist attack happen because of security issues at the border, the surviving victims, their families, their friends and their countrymen will be seeking out those who failed in their duty to the nation. And, in that case, there may be more than cherry blossoms decorating trees near the Capitol.

It's Now Or Never

The majority of the people in Washington making decisions regarding the illegal invasion of our land have little or no sense of the reality of how severe the problem has become. How many of them have spent any significant time with the Americans who are the victims of their failure to secure our nation's sovereignty? How many of them have been subjected to the violation of their property, the endangerment of their families and the abandonment of their government's promise to protect life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Let us begin with you Senator Kennedy, the loud advocate of lawbreakers from another country. Do you feel empathy because you have a history of leaving crime and carnage in the wake of the travesty you call your life? Is it because of your own failure to accept responsibility and your escape from the crimes you committed that you can be so cavalier about what happens to the struggling citizens of our border communities?

Why do you not drag your behemoth buttocks and mammoth male breasts down here to our neck of the woods and leave yourself vulnerable to that which we face everyday? You, who do not want even windmills to spoil the view of your valuable property, are so willing to forgive the environmental destruction perpetrated by the illegals who violate the laws and trust you are sworn to protect. You and those who stand with you are disgusting, treasonous bastards who deserve nothing better than a tree and a rope. I omitted the horse because I doubt even a Clydesdale could support you.

For those among us us who would like to read some of what the invasion of America has wrought on Americans please read this article at NRO.

Fellow Americans, please stand with us, your real neighbors. Do not allow this treachery that is being planned in Washington to succeed. Today it is our property and lives, tomorrow it will be yours. The need is now, the moment decisive. Fail and you fail yourself, your neighbors and your nation. You must act, you have only one choice. Beat down the doors of Congress, demand to be heard and accept no other answer than America first.

Let It Begin Here

In the county of Arizona where I live, a sheriff's deputy recently stopped a pickup truck. During the stop, the suspect accelerated, dragging the deputy about 100 yards before he was able to struggle free.

It turns out, the truck had been stolen in Phoenix the week before and guess what? When they apprehended the driver, who had abandoned the vehicle in an attempt to escape, it turns out he's from Mexico.

This is merely one of many examples of the crimes we along the southern border must endure on a a regular basis because of our traitorous representatives in Washington.

In addition, groups such as the infamous ACLU have so poisoned and perverted justice in this nation that lawbreakers have become encouraged to violate our rules at will.

Justice has long worn a blindfold but the ACLU has managed to gag her as well by their constant litigation, appeals and mean spirited use of the court system.

The abandonment of the principles that made this country great and the inculcation of multiculturalism and political correctness have produced the disgusting displays we have seen in recent days.

When our elected representatives are moved by crowds peppered with lawbreakers waving foreign flags, then the nation is in dire times, indeed.

"The country has spoken, and today the Senate listened," Sen. Ted Kennedy said, referring to recent rallies across the United States. Unfortunately, it wasn't this country that he was listening to, but that has never stopped Teddy before. Teddy is not one to bow to the will of the American people, knowing the People's Republic of Massachustts will keep him in power.

The time has come, America, for every patriot to rise to the moment and steer this country back on course. It is time to send the traitors in Washington and at the state and local levels, packing. It is time to stop the ACLU and other organizations of that ilk. It is time for a new revolution. We, the people of America, need to take back our government and our nation.

"Stand your ground. Don't fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here." Spoken by Captain John Parker, leader of the volunteer American militia known as the Minutemen, to the company assembled on Lexington Green at the first battle of the American War for Independence.

Reaping What The Liberals Have Sown

If you want to see what liberalism, multiculturalism and failure to enforce the sovereignty and laws of our nation buys you, go visit Michelle Malkin today.

I won't even display the picture on this site, but all I will say is, it is time for all good Americans to stand up and take this nation back from the tyranny of the minority. We have the ability to have our voices heard in the halls of Congress. If we fail to kill amnesty and have our laws enforced we have no one to blame but ourselves. Let's hammer on the doors of the House and Senate. We are not requesting, we are demanding. Those who fail to heed us should inherit the whirlwind.

Kerry Creates Defense Fund

John Kerry, recently created a defense fund to pay his legal costs in a federal defamation lawsuit. It was filed by a Pennsylvania filmmaker, Carlton Sherwood and the Vietnam Veterans Legacy Foundation. It alleges that Kerry and a top aide sought to "discredit and silence" Sherwood while blocking the broadcast of his anti-Kerry documentary during the final weeks of the presidential race.

The film, "Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal," alleges Kerry's actions as an anti-war activist after he returned home from the Vietnam War harmed American POWs. Kerry lied about atrocities by U.S. soldiers as a leader of Vietnam Veterans Against the War.

Kerry filed a motion to dismiss the suit in December.
As usual, he hopes the controversy surrounding his "record" will go away. Sorry, John, we want the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Sean Hannity Drives Alec Baldwin From Studio

Anger management poster boy, Alec Baldwin, stormed out of a radio studio during a call by Sean Hannity and Mark Levin.

The show was with Brian Whitman and you can read more details at NewsMax.

What I found amusing about the exchange was Baldwin's pathetic put down attempts which really say a great deal about this looney liberal's prejudices.

BALDWIN: Why would I want to come on the show with a no-talent, former construction worker hack like you?

Obviously, Baldwin feels that construction workers are beneath him, probably all laborers.

BALDWIN: And who's that - who's your little cabin boy there with you.

Do I detect some homophobic slurs coming from a resident of liberal la-la land?

BALDWIN: You're a no talent ignorant fool from Long Island. You should go back to building houses in Hempstead.

I guess people from Long Island don't measure up in Baldwin's incredibly self absorbed fantasy either.

Wait, Alec Baldwin is from Long Island, so was that a self putdown? And, he worked as a busboy and, when he first was an actor, he was on soaps. Ah, talk about your no talent. Get that table in the corner Alec.

Baldwin once said about Henry Hyde in a skit that, "We would stone Henry Hyde to death and we would go to their homes and we’d kill their wives and their children. We would kill their families."

And more recently regarding the vice president, "He terrorizes our enemies abroad and innocent citizens here at home indiscriminately. Who ever thought Harry Whittington would be the answer to America's prayers. Finally, someone who might get that lying, thieving Cheney into a courtroom to answer some direct questions."

Baldwin is not exactly what one would call glib. He is more of a low class bus boy from Long Island who lacks self control and the ability to take what he attempts to dish out. His emotional outbursts and temper tantrums certainly lend credence to the abusive husband rumors.

Thanks for pushing those buttons, Sean and Mark.

Abbas Accepts Hamas Cabinet

Things are getting more interesting in Palestine. Will Hamas ever recognize Israel's right to exist?

Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian Authority President, notified Hamas officials Saturday that he would accept their proposed Cabinet.

He reiterated his demand that Hamas adopt his vision of a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to avoid putting "our national struggle in opposition to international legitimacy."

Hamas does not endorse previous agreements or peace initiatives backed by the Palestinian Authority that recognize Israel. Abbas outlined his position in a letter addressed to Ismail Haniyeh, the designated Palestinian Prime Minister.

Standards Of Culture

Speaking at a conference on Isalmic extremism that was organized by the American Jewish Congress, Ernst Uhrlau, head of Germany's BND (foreign intelligence agency) said, there may be irreconcilable differences between Islamic and Western cultures. "The recent controversy over Mohammad cartoons has raised the question of compatibility in principle between basic elements of Western and Muslim standards of culture. In this case, freedom of the press versus religious values. "The fact is that such antagonism may emerge time and again in sensitive areas of identity on either side."

I believe he is absolutely right and the recent incident in Afghanistan is just another example. "The Koran is very clear and the words of our prophet are very clear. There can only be one outcome: death,"says cleric Khoja Ahmad Sediqi, who is also a member of that country's Supreme Court. At least 50 people have been killed in protests in the Middle East and Asia over a cartoon of this prophet.

The cleric is also correct, it's very clear and it's getting harder and harder to avoid the obvious.

Trust Us, We're The ACLU

Yesterday, the ACLU had a fit because the Justice Department refused to answer some questions about the NSA’s wiretap program.

According to the ACLU the following can be attributed to Caroline Fredrickson, Director of the ACLU Washington Legislative Office and former general counsel and legal director of NARAL Pro-Choice America:

"The Department of Justice continues to refuse to give honest answers to basic questions, such as how many Americans have had their phone calls and e-mails listened to or read by the NSA without a warrant. Congress and the American people are entitled to the truth. Knowing how many innocent Americans have had their privacy invaded by this lawless program is not an 'operational' secret--it's the very question a less partisan and more independent Congress asked and got answered in the 1970s. That's when Congress passed the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act to try to prevent warrantless spying on Americans from happening again."

“The administration continues to try to get away with stonewalling Congress and the American people. Congress should not reward presidential obstruction with legislation to whitewash this violation of the Fourth Amendment and federal law. The current era of ‘trust us, we’re the government’ must end now. Congress is obligated to investigate this illegal program further and cannot allow the Justice Department and White House to continue to suppress the facts. The law has been broken, and the people have a right to know how that happened.”
The Terrorist Surveillance Program of the NSA targets communications where one party is outside the United States and there are reasonable grounds to believe that at least one of them is a member or agent of al Qaeda or an affiliated terrorist organization. The President has inherent constitutional authority to conduct foreign intelligence surveillance. That, for any normal person, should be a given.

So, why is the ACLU trying to insinuate that this is an illegal tactic designed by our government so the presidnt can assume dictatorial power and harass innocent Americans during the final years of his administration? The ACLU, by rumor and inuendo, means to plant fears of government conspiracy in the minds and hearts of Americans. They and the other leftwing nut cases waltz out the big brother boogeyman whenever it is convenient to their cause.

It is a bold tactic because this group is one that desires to replace, not the government, but God, Himself, in these United States. They would set themselves up as the final decision makers as to what is moral and what is evil, what is permitted and what is verboten, what can be communicated and what can be censored.

So while they are asking us to trust them and not the government, ask yourself this, what would life be like if the ACLU were running the show? Would you rather be monitored while talking to a questionable foreign contact or reported for failing to use the latest government approved politically correct phraseology?

The ACLU is, itself, a politically sinister organization, where certain forms of dissent and questioning are not permitted. Secrecy and subterfuge abound and socialist propaganda pervades. I wouldn't trust this cabal to monitor the local animal shelter (sorry PETA) let alone the American government.

First Hillary, Chapter One, Verse One

Hillary is now attempting to use bible references to legitimize her hypocrisy. "It is certainly not in keeping with my understanding of the Scriptures," she said when discussing the illegal immigration issue before NY "immigration advocates." "This bill would literally criminalize the Good Samaritan and probably even Jesus himself," she babbled.

Well, Hillary's undertsanding of scripture would fit in a thimble and then it would rattle. The Good Samaritan parable has nothing whatsoever to do with illegal immigration. If Hillary wants to peruse her bible, then let her look to the abortion issue and scripture that might be relevant to the taking of innocent life.

Hillary, the harridan, has changed her stand on illegals and border security nearly as many time as Bill has broken his marriage vows. It is so obvious that she has a different stand depending on the audience that I can't believe anyone could possibly vote for this dishonest shrew.

NYCLU VS. NYPD

Late in January of this year, I posted "Ring Of Steel" which described how New York City was looking to London as an example of how to improve security in lower Manhattan. London has what is known as the "ring of steel", a system of closed-circuit cameras and narrow roads. Police can block it off while cameras scan for wanted vehicles and monitor traffic and people entering and exiting the area.

Well, according to
the police commissioner, Raymond Kelly, in a hearing before the City Council's Committee on Public Safety, they are moving forward with such a plan.

Get ready, because you can count on the NYCLU fighting this every step of the way. Christopher Dunn and Donna Lieberman, the Associate Legal Director and the Executive Director of the NYCLU have already been trying to portray this system as the final step before the placement of cameras in your living room. They obviously cannot distinguish between private and public arenas.

The cameras in London
played a key role in identifying the July 7 Underground and bus bombers. Although they didn't prevent the terrorist act they certainly assured apprehension.

"
Where does it end?", wail Dunn and Lieberman in the liberal throes of imagined conspiracies to end our democracy. They fail to understand that without security there is no freedom and that the twin towers disaster showed us the enemy of our way of life. It is not, despite NYCLU and ACLU arguments to the contrary, the NYPD.

Where Are The Demonstrations?

It looks like Italy is getting it right, telling Afghanistan that they will pull out their troops over the prosecution of the Christian convert, Abdul Rahman.

The US, Germany and Canada have also voiced concerns over the pending trial. Please note not one Muslim country has said a word.

Rep. Tom Lantos (D-Calif ) says he has written a letter to Afghan President Hamid Karzai: "In a country where soldiers from all faiths, including Christianity, are dying in defense of your government, I find it outrageous that Mr. Rahman is being prosecuted and facing the death penalty for converting to Christianity, which he did 16 years ago before your government even existed."
Yes, Mr. Lantos outrageous is putting it mildly.

This is a chance for "moderate" Muslims to speak out; CAIR, we can't hear you. Let's all sit back now and watch for those mass Muslim demonstrations showing they care more about the life of a real human being than a cartoon prophet. Don't hold your civilized breath.

The Heinz-Kerry Secrecy Syndrome

The Kerrys seem to have a "thing" about releasing information. While it seems to be taking forever to get John to be completely forthright regarding his now infamous 180 form, let's not forget this is almost family policy.

In 2004, Teresa Heinz (and that is her legal name, she uses Kerry for political purposes only) refused to release her tax returns. "This is my life, my business, not John's...I think it is very important to keep the privacy zone. There is a tradition of this," she stated. Sounds like the Heinz-Kerry party line to me. it might have made sense and carried more weight, had she not been bankrolling John's campaign with loans and had she not owned the mansion they were living in at the time.

These two seem to have trouble separating public and private.

Kyl Caves To Tree Huggers

Why are we allowing the tree huggers to determine how we protect our borders? According to this article in the Sierra Vista Herald, Senator Jon Kyl has altered his proposed 25 mile long border fence to avoid a showdown with environmentalists.

The San Pedro River area, west of Naco, is one of the major illegal highways. I should know, since I live only a quarter mile from the river. The invaders follow the river bed into the US and use it as a jumping off point to rendezvous with their arranged transportation.

Of course, to the wildlife worshiping wierdos, human life has no value compared to their forest friends so the security of our border takes a hit.

“We are pleased the San Pedro River is out of the equation,” said Jenny Neeley of the Defenders of Wildlife’s Tucson office. “We hope to work with the Border Patrol on planning for the rest of the border infrastructure, to make sure environmental considerations are included.”

Well, if there is a terrorist incident in our neighborhood, at least we have someone to hold accountable.

Terrorist Letters Intercepted

Some good news from the War on Terrorism.

According to the Khaleej Times, two suspected Taliban insurgents have been apprehended by Afghan police close to the Pakistani border.

“One of them was carrying letters from Mullah Omar and Ayman al-Zawahiri,” provincial deputy chief Mohammad Ibrar said.

“The second man was arrested with some 500 “night’ letters which asked people not to cooperate with the “illegitimate government’ and to obey orders of Mullah Omar and Ayman al-Zawahiri,” he said.

Night letters are anonymous leaflets which are occasionally distributed in Afghan towns and villages by militant groups.

The documents could help to point to enemy networks in the country. Let's hope so.

Belarus And Iran

The White House has submitted a report to Congress accusing Belarus and its president of illegally selling weapons to Iran.

Alexander Lukashenko, the Belarus dictator, according to this report has turned himself into "one of the richest men in the former Soviet Union" by selling arms to nations like Iran and other rogue regimes. Western diplomats say that Belarus earns more than £1.14 billion annually in weapons sales, much of which goes into a secret fund controlled directly by the president. Some of the components sold to Iran could even be used in weapons of mass destruction.

Lukashenko is already in trouble for an election in Belarus, widely denounced as a sham. Britain and the European Union have signalled their intention to impose penalties should today's poll prove to be rigged. He has brutally cracked down on his opponents and posters for his main challenger, Alexander Milinkevich, are ripped down as soon as they are put up. Historically, sometimes his opponents simply disappear.

Watch this situation closely as it develops.

On That Day

A new ocean is forming at the Afar Triangle near the Horn of Africa and Africa will eventually lose its horn. It won't be long until the Red Sea floods the region and the ocean that will then be born will split Africa apart. The triangle, which cuts across Ethiopia, Eritrea and Djibouti, is the meeting place of three of the earth's platee. The African and Arabian plates are pulling apart causing the ground to sink.

Geologists were on the plains of Ethiopia recently when the earth began splitting under their very feet. They were witnessing the birth of an ocean.

Read more about it at an interesting article at Speigel Online. And also, check out Popular Mechanics.

It does remind me of Zechariah 14:4, "On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south."

Congress Still Doesn't Know What To Do

Is anyone besides me sick and tired of the circle jerk we call a congress? The terrorist attack in NYC took place in 2001. We are now in 2006 and we still don't have a plan to secure either one of our borders and let's not even discuss our coastlines. Yet, as the morons in Washington try to come up with a plan, not so much to protect us, but as to cause themselves no political trauma we have Senator Sam Brownback (R-Kansas) saying, "It would be March madness to rush into this." Oh yes, senator, let's be careful, the turtles are stampeding!

The truth is, Senator Sam Coburn (R-Oklahoma) has it right, "Nobody in the country trusts us on this issue right now because we have not demonstrated the integrity to control our borders." Ya think? Almost 5 freakin' years later, you congressional cretins are still sitting around looking up a dead horse's butt and wondering what to do about it.

I only wish there was a way to dissolve Congress and elect a whole new group and let's see if the country can get it right this time. God help us, you are a pathetic lot.

And Now For Something Completely Different

ACLU Targeting Our Youth

In the final quarter of last year the NYCLU issued a press release headlined: NYCLU Unveils Campaign to Defend Students' Rights.

In it, Donna Lieberman, Executive Director, stated, "The military is setting its sights on vulnerable groups of young people as it tries to meet the demands for more soldiers to fight an increasingly unpopular war. We send our children to school for an education, not to become military targets."

Notice, what I'm sure they thought was the clever use, of "setting its sights" and "targets" to imply the impending assassination of our youth by the evil military who want to prolong what the ACLU feels is an unpopular war. The other implication being, that unless a war is popular it is wrong.

I bring up this piece of history because the ACLU, themselves, "have set their sights" and are targeting our youth in an attempt to promote their godless agenda.

There is a site called Stand Up With The ACLU. If you haven't just eaten, then I encourage you to go and browse. The news section urges somewhat pathetically, "
Impress your friends, and, even better, everyone older than you with how in the know you are. Check out the news before it's history." That would be news seen through socialist sight, would it not?

Go to the Rant section Of Stand Up. It states "we are open to opinions that span the political spectrum including those that might be considered liberal or conservative. In other words, your essay may come in on any side of the fence, left, right or anywhere in between."

Now, go to one of the conservative rants...couldn't find one, could you? There were none when I went there. What a shock!

Wait though, I'm not done yet. Stand Up also gives awards and they have just had their second annual Stand Up for Freedom Contest. Would you like to see the kind of creativity they're rewarding? I knew you would. Go here and get ready to throw up on the ACLU.

So it is obvious, the ACLU is setting its sights on vulnerable groups of young people as it tries to meet the demands for more members to join an increasingly unpopular organization. We send our children to school for an education, not to become socialist targets.

US Bishops Respond To Dems

On February 28th, 55 Catholic Democrats in Congress issued a statement of principles on abortion.

Here are some excerpts:
"we work every day to advance respect for life and the dignity of every human being. We believe that government has moral purpose."

"We envision a world in which every child belongs to a loving family and agree with the Catholic Church about the value of human life and the undesirability of abortion; we do not celebrate its practice."

If they agree with the Catholic Church, how could so many of them have voted as they did on partial birth abortion? See here.

According to Jimmy Akin, spokesman for Catholic Answers Action, “The fifty-five signers of the statement have done American voters a favor by revealing what hypocrites they are. Their statement of ‘principles’ is a transparent attempt to disguise their position, and they’re not fooling anybody. They are putting their politics above their faith.
The statement says that they ‘work every day to advance respect for life,’ but the signers of the statement have an 80 percent anti-life voting record this term."

Among the 55 signatories is Nancy Pelosi, the House Minority Leader, which should immediately arouse suspicion. Some have attributed this statement to a memo released by James Carville and his associates. It addressed the large losses of the Catholic vote that the Democratic Party has suffered in recent years and identified abortion as a key reason for it.

So, in typical donk style, out comes a Clintonesque statement designed to obfuscate and confuse, vague enough to be absolutely meaningless.

The US bishops have responded,"we also need to reaffirm the Catholic Church’s constant teaching that abortion is a grave violation of the most fundamental human right – the right to life that is inherent in all human beings, and that grounds every other right we possess."

Amen.

You can read the entire statement at Priests For Life and also the response from the US bishops.

Freaky Feingold And His Incredible Censure Resolution

Russ Feingold (D-WI) is in the news again. A favorite of the ACLU and a presidential wannabe of the fringe left, Russ said on the Senate floor, "The President has violated the law, and Congress must respond. A formal censure by Congress is an appropriate and responsible first step to assure the public that when the President thinks he can violate the law without consequences, Congress has the will to hold him accountable."

Feingold's censure resolution accuses Bush of violating the Constitution and the 1978 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

Back in October I wrote a piece on Feingold and his 86% approval rating from the ACLU. At that time I mentioned his bill S122 Federal Death Penalty Abolition Act. But, that is only one of his many liberal efforts. Rated at 93% approval by NARAL, he voted no on criminal penalty for harming an unborn baby during the commission of a crime. He also voted no on banning partial birth abortions and human cloning.

He has a 91% approval rating from the NEA thanks in part to his no vote on school vouchers.

His no on requiring schools to allow voluntary prayer and another no on money for abstinence education has helped earn him a big zero from the Christian Coalition.

So, it should be no shock to anyone that a bizarre resolution would spring from the tin foiled head of Freaky Feingold.

Majority Leader Bill Frist tried to schedule a vote for Monday night or Tuesday on the resolution saying, Democrats ought to be on the record voting for or against it.

The donks, however, are avoiding this resolution like the plague and it is unlikely Russ will get very many overt supporters. As usual, he is way out of the mainstream which makes it difficult to understand how he can perceive of himself as a viable candidate for president. But, stranger things have happened and one can envision a ticket of Russ and crazy John Conyers (D-MI) running on a Moonbat platform. From my mouth to God's ears!

Beer On Tap At Home

A woman in Norway experienced a miracle in her apartment when she turned on her kitchen faucet and out poured beer.

Somehow, someone at the bar downstairs had accidentally hooked the beer hoses to the water pipes for Haldis Gundersen's apartment.

People at the Big Tower Bar were equally shocked when water poured out of the beer taps.

Kerry Almost Confronts Protestor

John Kerry was at Harvard Friday night for the premiere of “Hidden Wounds.” The film is a documentary on veterans of the war in Iraq suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

Several anti-war protesters were on hand chanting, “Bush Lied. Kerry Complied. Bring the troops home now.”

After the documentary, one protestor yelled out to Kerry, “Stop this war, John, grow some balls. You can do something, John.”

The man was escorted out and after he was gone, Kerry responded.

“I wish that young man who stood up was still here because those of you who know me, know that I don’t shy away from any conversation on any subject,” Kerry said. “I understand the anxiety and the frustration people feel here in this country.”

He then emphasized that the purpose of the forum was for the discussion of the documentary.

Typical Kerry, avoid the issue but try to act as if you have embraced it and dealt with it.

Scum Rising To The Surface In South Dakota

Nedd Kareiva, the founder and director of the Stop the ACLU Coalition, has written an article entitled "Time to Euthanize Roe". In it, he spotlights the disgusting reaction of the left to the abortion ban in South Dakota. As he says, "the evidence is clear who is peaceful when the political process (even rightly so) doesn't go their way and who is disrespectful and even violent."

This disrespect and violence characterizes the far out progressives and should make us all painfully aware of their danger to our political process. Take some time to read Nedd's article so you can see the gutter tactics of these low lifes of the left.

Iran Digging In

Iran has built a secret underground emergency command center in Tehran. This is just one more step as it prepares for military confrontation with Israel and the US. They have already announced they are no longer interested in a deal from Moscow to diplomatically solve the standoff over their nuclear weapons development.

The Persian psychotics are also reviewing plans to attack tankers and American naval forces in the Persian Gulf and to mine the Strait of Hormuz, through which about 20 per cent of world oil production passes each day. Obviously, this would send oil prices soaring and seriously impact economies world wide.

The inevitable clash is drawing ever closer. Read more at Iran-Focus.

Sunday Funny

This is dark humor but it points out the values that separate us from our enemies.

A Palestinian terrorist and a member of the Taliban are holed up in a cave in the mountains between Afghanistan and Pakistan. Over a fire, they exchange information about each other. The Palestinian produces family pictures. "This is my son, Ali, He died a martyr against the Zionists in Gaza.

"A fine looking boy, " says the other. He produces a picture, "this is my son, Mohammed, who died a martyr fighting the great satan in Iraq."

"Ah, children," sighed the terrorist, "they blow up so fast, don't they."

Wafa Sultan Says It Like It Is

Wafa Sultan is a Syrian-American psychiatrist living outside Los Angeles.

Last month she did an interview
on Al-Jazeera television. In it she took Muslims to task for their violence and self-pity.

She said we are not witnessing a clash of religions or cultures, but a battle between rationality and barbarism.

Here is a direct quote convicting the Islamomaniacs.

"Only the Muslims defend their beliefs by burning down churches, killing people and destroying embassies. This path will not yield any results. The Muslims must ask themselves what they can do for humankind, before they demand that humankind respect them."

This has catapulted her onto the world stage as a Muslim voice of reason the civilized and as a blaspheming heretic to the barbarians.
The other guest on the program, an Egyptian professor of religious studies, Dr. Ibrahim al-Khouli, asked her, "Are you a heretic?" Then, he said there was no point in rebuking or debating her, because she had blasphemed against Islam, the Prophet Muhammad and the Koran. So much for the give and take of Muslim debate.

Now, she is receiving death threats by phone and email from these troglodytes of terror.
One message said: "Oh, you are still alive? Wait and see."

Ah, the elite Muslim intelligentsia display their wisdom once again.

Free Cuba, Down With Castro

In Puerto Rico, a fan displayed a sign saying, "Down with Fidel" and a Cuban official confronted him. Puerto Rican police took the official to a nearby police station and explained to him the concept of free speech, something he would have missed in Castro classes.

Hello, Fidel, freedom still lives in the hearts of Cubans and you cannot silence it.

Spain's Wounds Self Inflicted.

After a two-year probe into the Madrid train bombings it seems there is no connection to al-Qaida and the tragedy was most likely orchestrated by Spain's own radical element. There is no evidence of communication or money transfers that would indicate direction by al-Qaida.

Most of the participants were drug traffickers with criminal records and they paid for their explosives with hashish. Although they may have been motivated by Osama bin Laden’s call for attacks on European countries that supported the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq, there is no evidence to prove that there was any contact.

Certainly, this would seem to show how long and drawn out this conflict will continue to be. The elimination of Osama will only inspire these lunatics to kill with greater enthusiasm. The civilized world must dig in for a protracted and ugly war against enemies hidden around the globe but, it a war that must be won or a new Dark Age will fall upon us.

New York's Duplicitous Duo

In what must be one of the greatest moments in the art of pandering here's what little Chuckie Schumer had to say at a gathering last month.

"I love America, and I truly believe that the more Irish there are here, the better America is," Mr. Schumer said at a meeting of nearly 1,000 Irish immigrants in Queens on February 17, organized by the New York-based Irish Lobby for Immigration Reform, according to the Irish Voice.

Advocates were pleased to hear of Mr. Schumer's commitment to a policy that would enable illegal immigrants to receive permanent residency.

The Irish government, which is helping fund efforts to lobby Washington on immigration reform, estimates there are more than 40,000 illegal Irish immigrants in America. "The worst thing we could do," Mr. Schumer said at the meeting, "is close the door, not only for those who want to come, but for those who are already here."

Now, not to be outdone, the junior jackal from NY joins in the Irish and illegal alien kiss up this month.

Speaking at a rally of Irish immigrants, Clinton criticized a bill the House passed in December that would impose harsher penalties for undocumented workers.

"Don't turn your backs on what made this country great," she said, calling the measure "a rebuke to what America stands for."

She called instead for immigration changes "based on strengthening our borders in order to make us safer from the threat of terrorism."

My mother's parents were Irish immigrants but they came here legally, earned their citizenship and were loyal to this country, not Ireland.

Quite frankly, I could care less where immigrants come from as long as they follow the rules. Being here illegally means they choose not to follow the rules and that is not a foundation on which to build a good citizen. The left does not comprehend this because they think it is just fine to pick and choose what laws to follow.

If you're illegal, Irish, Mexican, Australian, Chinese, Peruvian, Russian, I don't care, I want you gone.

What made this country great was not hordes of illegals invading it to plunder its bounty but, the processing of people who wished to embrace a new homeland into the American way of life. Whatever happened to that "melting pot" concept.

Once again the duplicitous duo from NY shows their concern is not for our security but, rather for how many votes they can finesse through butt kissing various ethnic groups.

Hillary talks about "strengthening our borders in order to make us safer from the threat of terrorism" but, provides not one specific. She knows any strong stance on securing our borders will alienate some of those she needs to make her bid for the presidency. So, like Bill, she will sell out her country as benefits her personal gain.

Thanks to The New York Sun and The Boston Globe.

More Guardsmen For Arizona Border

PHOENIX - Gov. Janet Napolitano on Wednesday ordered more National Guardsmen posted at the Mexican border to help stop illegal immigrants and reduce crime.

The number of additional soldiers is unspecified but, they are being sent to assist federal agents.

This appears to be a move to placate those who see her as soft on illegal immigration. She was careful to state,
''They are not there to militarize the border. We are not at war with Mexico.''

No, Janet, but we are at war and there are those who would use the failure to secure our borders to attack us. Get with the program.

Mississippi To Ban Abortions

A Mississippi House committee voted Tuesday to ban most abortions in the state.

The ACLU of Mississippi is already in a panic.

What follows is some of what is on their homepage.

Hello Activists!

The Mississippi legislature is trying to ban abortion in our state. We must stop them.

Yesterday afternoon, a House committee amended Senate Bill 2922 to ban nearly all abortions in Mississippi. Although, the committee has not released the actual language yet, any attempt to ban abortions threatens women's health and lives. The face of Senate Bill 2922 has changed completely: THE BILL HAS BEEN AMENDED TO BAN NEARLY ALL ABORTIONS IN MISSISSIPPI.

Although, we are waiting to see the actual language of Senate Bill 2922’S new amendment, any attempt to ban abortions threatens women's health and lives.

The abortion issue is now once again open for debate. There are sincere arguments to be made from reasonable people on both sides about rape and incest and true cases of the mother's life being in danger. However, abortion should never have become an approved form of birth control and inconvenience does not qualify as life threatening.

For all those politicians who ascribe to the phrase, abortion should be safe, legal and rare, here's a chance to make it rare. If we spent as much time fretting over the innocent life of an unborn child as we do about killers on death row, the supposed compassion of the left might almost be believable.

If abortions were rare, I don't believe we be seeing this flurry of state bills to halt it. It is the excesses of the left and the ACLU that have wrought this backlash. The pendulum always swings back.

It Depends On What The Defintion Of Dubai Is

You've got to enjoy the latest round of Clinton lies and deceit. According to a Newsday article, Bill gave United Arab Emirates officials advice on how to handle the Dubai ports controversy two weeks ago but, didn't tell his wife about that conversation. At least that's the way Hillary is spinning it. Although, it's pretty hard to believe Bill can do anything that doesn't fall under her watchful eye. She's been burned once too often.

Bill's phone conversation is supposed to have taken place while the former president was traveling in Pakistan last month.

That would put Bill in line with her position that the ports deal could compromise national security, a stance she needs to grease the skids for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Bob Novak reported that the Bill Clinton urged the Dubai official to hire former White House Press Secretary Joe Lockhart to handle damage control on the ports, despite the fact that Lockhart's consulting firm, the Glover Park Group, is a central part of Hillary Clinton's political operation.

When Sen. Clinton was asked yesterday if her husband discussed the conversation with her, she replied, "No, the president, my husband, supports my position, a position that is rooted in legitimate concerns about security."

Sure, Hillary that's as convincing as Bill's sexual realtions denial. This time it will be, "I did not have financial relations with that nation."

Hillary says she didn’t know her husband was getting money from Dubai but, her senatorial financial disclosure forms reveal that he received $450,000 for making speeches there in 2002. So how could she not know? Hillary is a control freak, she knows what on those disclosure forms.

It would be hard to believe that Hillary was unaware the UAE made a large donation to the presidential library in Little Rock.

Bill will sell out his Dubai pals if he has to, already backpedaling on them in a sppech in New Zealand where he mentioned DP World "is from UAE, where some of the money from 9/11 was laundered."

Hillary will be tightening the reins on Billy Boy, before he blows her chances at securing the brass ring of presidential contender.

Stay tuned!

Waziristan, Where In The World?

Waziristan is the Northwest province of Pakistan, on the border of Afghanistan. It is an extremely arid and mountainous region and right now there is quite a lot of activity taking place there. This area has been a refuge for Taliban and Al Qaeda since they were driven out of Afghanistan. It may even have served as a hideout for Osama Bin Laden.

According to the Pakistan Times, Pakistani troops, on Tuesday, searched for two pro-Taliban clerics, Maulvi Abdul Khaliq and Maulana Sadiq Noor, accused of instigating the worst fighting near the Afghan border since the start of the "war on terror." There also is a report that Security forces have destroyed a school run by one of the clerics. The religious school had been serving as a meeting place for militants.

Now, there is a curfew in Miranshah, the main town in the North Waziristan tribal area, where 140 militants died in days of fierce fighting that erupted on Saturday.

Safe, Legal And Rare

While running for election, John Kerry said that he wants to keep abortion, "safe, legal and rare."

Obviously abortion is never safe for the baby but, what I want to examine here is the "rare" part of that statement. What has John Kerry done to make abortion rare?

He voted no on a bill that would make it a criminal offense to harm or kill a fetus during the commission of a violent crime. He voted no on maintaining a ban on military base abortions. He voted no on banning partial birth abortions. He's scored a perfect 100% rating from NARAL on his pro abortion voting record.

What has John Kerry done to make abortion rare? Absolutely nothing!

Once again, reality contradicts John Kerry's words. So, John, you see why it is important that you release your FULL military records. We want reality, not Christmas in Cambodia.

First Amendment Rights Attacked, ACLU Where Are You?

Arapahoe County, Colorado is persecuting a veteran public works employee because he advertises the fact that he is an English speaking American.

Mike Gray works for the Arapahoe County Road and Bridge Department. He also owns a lawn service business and drives a truck with a trailer he uses for that work. The trailer has a sign, "Lawn Services Done With Pride!! By An English Speaking American." (see above)

He also wears a U.S. Border Patrol hat that was a gift from his son.

Because of this "outrageous" behavior, Mike received a letter from his supervisor that said:

"Some of your conduct ... is reprehensible and discriminatory to our non-English speaking and/or Hispanic workforce. You are in violation of ... guidelines which ensure a workplace free from harassment and sensitive to the diversity of employees."

"You are required to permanently remove your cap from the workplace. It is offensive and harassing. Your business sign, if on work premises, must be completely covered at all times. This behavior is inappropriate and any further incidents of this nature may result in further disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment."

The supervisors name is Monty Sedlak and the spokesperson, who declines to speak, for the county is Andrea Raszier. Feel free to contact them through the Arapahoe County link previously given. The question is, would this have been an issue if his sign said Spanish speaking? And, if someone is offended by the US Border Patrol logo that's their problem, not Mr. Gray's.

My next question is where is the Colorado ACLU to protect this man's first amendment rights?

On their site they claim to "protect, defend and extend the civil rights of all people in Colorado". One would expect that to include English speaking white people. Maybe the ACLU has a different definition.

Here's what their site says:

"The Colorado ACLU focuses on defending free speech and the right to dissent, securing religious liberty, combating racial profiling and discrimination, protecting the right to equal treatment for all people, insuring the right to fair play in encounters with government, and the right to be let alone, to be secure from interference in private matters."

But what do they really mean? We all know, don't we?

The Sheriff And The Cardinal

And now for more on illegal immigration:

Here in Cochise County, Arizona illegal activity is out of control. In recent testimony before a US Senate subcommittee, Sheriff Larry Dever had this to say, " The law-enforcement effort and the communities we serve desperately need your attention to our situation along the border. You should be aware that in our area, almost ten percent of the illegal aliens that are apprehended have criminal records in this country. When we are unsuccessful in catching them there, these predators find their way to communities all over the nation where they threaten the safety and welfare of local populations."

Read Sheriff Dever's complete testimony here.

Meanwhile over at PittsburghLIVE Colin McNickle has a great piece scolding Cardinal
Mahony of the Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles for his irresponsible direction to priests in all of the parishes he oversees. He has told them to defy any federal legislation that would require churches to confirm parishioners' legal status before providing assistance.

Mahony is quoted as saying, "There is enormous ignorance out there." Yes, and Cardinal Roger M. Mahony and the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops have cornered the market when it comes to this issue.

Sunday Funny, ACLU Holiday At Hand

Despite rumors to the contrary, this is not a true story. It is, however, a funny story.

An atheist was upset over preparations for Easter and Passover holidays and decided to contact his local ACLU. He cried discrimination because the constant celebrations of the Christians and Jews with all their holidays and holydays offended him while atheists had no holiday to celebrate.

Leaping at the chance to once again spearhead the cause of the godless the ACLU assembled their best legal team and filed suit.

The judge, after listening to a long, passionate presentation of the ACLU lawyers, banged his gavel and announced, "Case dismissed!"

The head ACLU attorney immediately stood and objected to the ruling and said, "Your honor, how can you possibly dismiss this case? Surely you know, the Christians have Christmas, Easter and many other observances. While the Jews observe Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah and yet my client and all other atheists have no holiday to celebrate!"

The judge leaned forward in his chair and said "Obviously your client is too confused to know about or for that matter even celebrate the atheists' holiday!"

The ACLU lawyer sneered pompously and said "We are aware of no such holiday for atheists, just when might that be, your honor?"

The judge said, "Well it comes every year on exactly the same date, April 1st!"

"The fool says in his heart, There is no God." - Psalm 14:1, Psalm 53:1

NY Marriage Decision Pending

From Albany, NY comes the news that the ACLU has joined in the effort to overturn a 5-0 midlevel appellate court ruling upholding a law that defines marriage as only between a man and a woman. The five-judge panel ruled in three separate cases brought on behalf of gay couples denied marriage licenses.

The Appellate Division of the state Supreme Court's decision follows a 4-1 December ruling by the state Supreme Court's Appellate Division in New York City to reverse a lower court ruling that would have permitted same-sex couples to wed in New York City.

The legality of gay marriage in New York will be decided by the state's highest court hearing appeals by same-sex couples, civil libertarians and the ACLU.

Among the attorneys for 13 same-sex couples is Terence L. Kindlon of Albany who says, "There is a fundamental right to marriage, which is part of an overall right to privacy

The public is not harmed by same-sex marriage, he said. Instead, society is strengthened by the expansion and evolution of civil marriage to reflect new realities.

Here comes the garbage spewing forth from the unfiltered sewer pipes of liberal logic. No one is denying anyone's right to marriage, only limiting it to members of the opposite sex much the same as the way government limits your right to marry relatives such as your sibling or child.

And, to declare boldly that society is not harmed but, improved upon by same-sex marriage is to state something unproven and most likely false as if it were fact.

Once again, the ACLU finds itself on the wrong side and, lets pray, the losing side.

Ann Coulter And Free Speech

Thanks to Tongue Tied, I ran across this letter to the Daily Orange from a couple of Syracuse University students who obviously fail to comprehend what free speech is all about. The letter follows.

Sadly, we must bring to your attention yet another example of offensive and insensitive programming sponsored by our university. On March 8, Ann Coulter will be speaking at the invitation of the College Republicans. If you are not familiar with her work, a quick
Google search will let you know what's up. Ann Coulter's openly racist, sexist and hateful remarks violate Syracuse University's non-discrimination policy. Have we learned nothing from HillTV about respect for our fellow human beings? Evidently not.

This is not an issue of free speech and hearing "both sides" of an issue. Her remarks directly infringe upon students' rights to feel safe and included in the campus community. At this point, we find it unlikely that this kind of oppressive "entertainment" is due to white privileged ignorance and probably has more to do with overt, unashamed racism. We in the Student Environmental Action Coalition must wonder how Ann Coulter's paycheck compares to the annual funding for student organizations fighting for the right of respect and dignity for all people. We urge all of you to express your concerns.

Jessie Kerr-Vanderslice
Senior English and textual studies and studio art major

Bobby Powers
Junior environmental studies major

Editor's note: Jessie Kerr-Vanderslice and Bobby Powers are members of SEAC. Powers is the co-chair.

"White privileged ignorance" and "Student Environmental Action Coalition" tell you all you need to know. Quite frankly, I feel the tone and intent of this letter is unashamedly racist and meant to be overtly oppressive. It is a blatant attempt to deny the rights of people to hear another viewpoint. Perhaps these students should familiarize themselves with the Syracuse University values which state, "
Diversity is a commitment to being a place where no person's thoughts are deemed inappropriate for expression, where speakers from Louis Farrakhan to Ed Koch are invited to our campus and if not welcomed by all, not silenced by anyone."

In fact, Louis Farrakhan has spoken at Syracuse University and if ever there was one given to open, hateful, racist remarks it would be Louis.

At this point, I find it unlikely that this kind of oppressive letter writing is to to liberal induced mental disorder and probably has more to do with undermining free speech and pushing the socialist agenda.

The Sky Is Falling

I had planned something different but after reading Jay's post over at Stop the ACLU, I just had to follow his lead on this topic.

The hysteria of the left over Judge Alito's note to James Dobson is just too enjoyable not to savor.

Dobson, founder and chairman of Focus on the Family Action, previously has said "perhaps the most encouraging early indication that Judge Alito will make a great justice is that liberal senators such as Harry Reid and Charles Schumer and leftist pressure groups such as People for the American Way and Planned Parenthood have been lining up all day to scream that the sky is falling."

Well, the Chicken Littles of the left are still at it, clucking madly and running about as if decapitated.

Anyway, I'm not going to reprint the note. It's polite and innocuous, unless you're a looney tune liberal. If you're a leftwing wacko, sitting around in your tinfoil hat, then this missive is an assault on the very foundations of the Republic. For those of you conservative or in some other way normal, go read it over at Jay's site by clicking on the link above.

Castro's Camelot Exposed By Czech Photos

In Prague, photos showing the suffering of Cuban AIDS victims and a squalid Havana shantytown went on display last week. They were smuggled out of Cuba by a Czech fashion model.

Helena Houdova and her friend Mariana Kroftova were held for 11 hours and denied access to Czech consular officials after being arrested for taking the pictures while visiting Castroland. I can't imagine what Fidel might want to hide? After all, the Hollywood intellectuals have been there and told us what a socialist paradise the place has become.

A former Miss Czech Republic, Helena said the Cuban people are repressed and Fidel Castro's government is in denial.
"People can't do what they love. People can't speak what they want," she said in an interview. "That's what's happening. The fact that the [government] says there is no poverty" only makes a bad situation worse.

Danny Glover and Harry Belafonte must have gone to a different island because they obviously saw none of this while they were busy bashing the USA. Could this be the place Steven Spielberg visited in 2002 and said, "I feel so much at home here"?

The Czechs, Slovaks, Poles and others understand, firsthand, the crushing tyranny of Communism. They are not fooled as easily as the delusional Hollywood inmates.

Let's all wipe out Fidel.

Disturbin' The Turbans

This, from Iran Focus, is just too funny.

Rap music is rapidly becoming a popular in Iran and a new CD which mocks the Islamic Republic’s ruling ayatollahs is taking the country by storm.

The latest in the line of music making fun of Iran’s top clerics is an album made by a group called Dalu.

The artists have taken popular rap beats and replaced the lyrics with their own versions, blasting the ayatollahs iron rule, incompetence in economic affairs, and even their unfashionable attire.

Iranian youths, who make up over 70 percent of the total population, have taken a liking to rap music, and the combo of hip beats and anti-mullah lyrics have been turning into a huge hit in Iran’s urban areas.

The music is banned by Iran’s strict cultural vetting body even without the sharp lyrics for being too Western.

No pimps, thugs, hoes and hustlahs, just mullahs, mahdis, ayatollahs and hookahs. Don't let the
Mahmoud keep you down, boys.
