Let's keep an eye on this guy and see what happens. He was in charge of the "oil for food" program and expected to watch over how the proceeds were used. But it seems he was watching over how much money he could make by looking the other way. So, food and medicine that was needed for Iraqi citizens was never purchased.
We had to put up with all that liberal braying about how we were responsible for the deaths of children and sick people. Now, it turns out that one of the left's favorite organizations, the UN, was stealing the money meant for life sustaining necessities. Let's see, logic would tell us that makes them partly responsible for the death and suffering of the Iraqi people. Are you shocked?
