Muqtada Al-Sadr Needs To Be Next

Isn't it interesting that the Iraqi people celebrate the demise of one mad mass murderer by cheering another.

CNN says, that as the noose was tightened around Hussein's neck, one of the executioners yelled "long live Muqtada al-Sadr," referring to the Shiite religious leader.

Sadr and his islamomaniacs have attacked US troops and he is wanted in the death of Abdel Majid Al-Khoei, a pro-American cleric who was murdered in April of 2003. His fanatical followers are also thought to be responsible for the death of another cleric and political leader, Ayatollah Mohammed Bakir al-Hakim, murdered in September of 2003.

Just like Saddam, Sadr likes to murder his rivals. They may need a winch and a hoist to get his immenseness on the gallows, but it will be just as well deserved as the execution of Hussein.

Recruiting The Enemy

We are now so decadent as a nation that we are actually considering paying foreigners to defend us. From The Boston Globe comes word that our armed forces are considering expanding the number of noncitizens in the ranks. They may even open recruiting stations overseas and put more immigrants on the fast track to US citizenship if they volunteer.

The middle class is disappearing, the government is overspending, there is an adverse balance of trade, a segment of the population is subsisting on starvation wages because of having to compete with the wages of illegals and now the military will be populated with an increased amount of foreigners. How long before the barbarians penetrate the gates? Like Rome, America is about to fall.

You Will Provide Legal Aid For Illegals

From the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review comes this forecast of more abuse of the American taxpayer by the illegal invaders of our nation.

If the Senate immigration bill had become law, illegal aliens, who broke our laws, would have been able to avail themselves of free legal assistance and a path to citizenship, all paid for by American taxpayers. Think it won't happen? With the new Donks teaming up with the RINOs left in Congress, just wait and see your money used to reward those who sneer at our laws, language, customs and country. November 7th, 2006, another date that will live in infamy.

Document Indicts Arafat

By way of WorldNetDaily comes word that a recently declassified document makes it clear that the plot resulting in the murder of two US diplomats in Sudan in 1973 (referred to as the Khartoum operation) "was planned and carried out with the full knowledge and personal approval" of Yasser Arafat.

This is the man that Jimmy Carter admired so much he said of him, "He was the father of the modern Palestinian nationalist movement. A powerful human symbol and forceful advocate, Palestinians united behind him in their pursuit of a homeland."

He also eulogized that Arafat provided "indispensable leadership to a revolutionary movement" and played a key role in forging a peace agreement with Israel in 1993, he was excluded from negotiations in recent years.

"My hope is that an emerging Palestinian leadership can benefit from Arafat's experiences, be welcomed to the peace process by (Israeli) Prime Minister (Ariel) Sharon and (US) President (George W.) Bush, and be successful in helping to forge a Palestinian state living in harmony with their Israeli neighbors," Carter said.

Sure, Jimmy, and the elections in Venezuela were a wonderful example of democracy which America should emulate. How long must we suffer this foolish old windbag and his lusting after leftist lunatics like Arafat, Castro and Chavez?

America, Going Once, Going Twice

According to the New York Times, here's what we have to look forward to from our new congressional quislings. Democrat dealmakers and their Republican cronies plan to give illegal aliens citizenship in a bill that they hope the Senate will pass in the spring.

Illegals will not have to leave the country and the funds for the fence will be withheld thus assuring that the supply of criminal invaders will remain uninterrupted.

The article makes it abundantly clear that our politicians are unconcerned about the nation and are driven only by self-serving motives. What are their reservations about such a bill? "The House Democrats are concerned about protecting newly elected moderate and conservative Democrats, some of whom had campaigned against legalizing illegal immigrants,"states the Times. There is no mention about concern for protecting the integrity and sovereignty of these United States.

Iranians Held In Iraq

Keep an eye on this story in The New York Times.

The American military is holding at least four Iranians in Iraq. According to the administration among them are Iranian senior military officials. They were apprehended in raids aimed at those suspected of attacking Iraqi security forces.

Two Iranian diplomats were also detained, but were turned over to the Iraqi authorities and released.

There is a lot more going on here. The Iranians are in this bloodbath up to their eyeballs and this may be the evidence with which to confront their doomsday demagogue.

Is No Lawbreaker Safe?

In a grand display of ignorance, several Hispanic groups made complete idiots of themselves and their cause by calling the ICE raids to arrest illegals the equivalent of Nazi round ups of Jews.

They called it "racial profiling" of Hispanics, because many of the 1,300 illegals apprehended in the December 12th raids at meatpacking plants were from latin America. I guess there wasn't enough European, African and Asian representation to meet the diversity requirements.

"We are demanding an end to these immigration raids, where they are targeting brown faces. That is major, major racial profiling, and that cannot be tolerated," said Rosa Rosales, president of the League of United Latin American Citizens, at a news conference.

"This unfortunately reminds me of when Hitler began rounding up the Jews for no reason and locking them up," Democratic Party activist Carla Vela said. "Now they're coming for the Latinos, who will they come for next?" Hopefully, some mental health professionals will come for you, Carla, since you obviously need to be restrained until your psychotic episodes are eliminated.

This group includes LULAC, the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund, the Hispanic National Bar Association, and the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials. What a pack of self serving morons.

Islamomaniacs Mount Their Donks

From ABC comes word that Al Qaeda has sent a message to leaders of the Democrat party that credit for the defeat of congressional Republicans belongs to the terrorists.

In a portion of the tape from al Qaeda No. 2 man, Ayman al Zawahri he has two messages for American Democrats.

"The first is that you aren't the ones who won the midterm elections, nor are the Republicans the ones who lost. Rather, the Mujahideen -- the Muslim Ummah's vanguard in Afghanistan and Iraq -- are the ones who won, and the American forces and their Crusader allies are the ones who lost," Zawahri said.

He calls on the Democrats to negotiate with him and Osama bin Laden, not others in the Islamic world who he says cannot help.

"And if you don't refrain from the foolish American policy of backing Israel, occupying the lands of Islam and stealing the treasures of the Muslims, then await the same fate," he warned.

The terrorists are planning on riding their newly acquired beasts of burden to victory. That braying you will be hearing from the halls of Congress come January heralds the beginning of their domination of America courtesy of the Dhimmicrats.

Bendover, Massachusetts

The new governor elect of the People's Republic of Taxachusetts has said that after taking office he will rescind a recently signed agreement between Governor Romney and federal authorities that allows State Police troopers to arrest illegal immigrants. What a shock! Deval Patrick is your typical liberal, so beloved by the Kumbaya crowd of the northeast pseudo-intellectuals. He loves same-sex marriage, hates the death penalty and can't wait to give away the farm to illegals in the form of state services, including such things as public housing, in-state tuition for public universities, and driver's licenses. Yes, Deval wants to play Santa Claus to the lawbreakers and do it with taxpayer dollars. No wonder the Stepford liberals of Kerry/Kennedy Land love him.

In typical liberal fashion he lied to reporters saying that federal immigration authorities do not want state troopers to be involved in immigration enforcement. "I also understand, by the way, that INS isn't interested in sharing their enforcement powers," he stated.

But, when a federal immigration official said that ICE backed the agreement, an aide to the future governor had to say, "The governor-elect misspoke when he referenced the INS." How vague and meaningless is that? Do they mean he misspoke because he doesn't know the INS is now called ICE? Or were they referring to his outright lie about the feds not backing the agreement?

Yes, Deval is another fine addition to the Donks new era of open, honest and ethical government. I'm sure they're grooming him for Congress.

Clinton's Trailer Trash

CNN delivers this shocker this morning: "Clinton aide stashed classified documents under a trailer." President Clinton's national security adviser removed classified documents from the National Archives, hid them under a construction trailer and later tried to find the trash collector to retrieve them, the agency's internal watchdog said Wednesday.

What else would you expect from the low class vermin that populated government brought to you by Bubba? Where else would the trailer trash administration hide documents? And all that baggy pants Berger got for this was a $50,000 fine, 100 hours of community service and he was barred from access to classified material for three years. After that he can access classified material and do this all over again.

Santa Hat Survives

Newsday has a story about a school bus driver who says he nearly lost his job because he refused to take off his Santa Claus cap while driving his route.

After completing his morning route on Thursday, Kenneth Mott said his supervisors called and demanded that he take off his Santa hat.

Mott said he was told that a parent of a child complained to the district about his headgear, saying that their child doesn't believe in Santa Claus and therefore was bothered by the hat. If that's true then let the little looney be driven to school by the parental unit(s) that encourage such antisocial behavior and allow the rest of the children to enjoy themselves.

"I said, 'What, are you kidding me?,'" Mott recalled. "I thought it was a big joke."

He resolved to keep his hat on that afternoon.

"Nobody is going to tell me what I can do and can't do," said Mott, who added that he doesn't pretend to be Santa Claus while driving, nor does he play Christmas carols or decorate his bus. "This is America. I'm not hurting anybody." Amen, Mr. Mott, amen!

It seems the dispute turns out to be a big misunderstanding, as is always the excuse when the secularist politically correct cretins get caught with their legal pants down. Those who tried to intimidate Mr. Mott will escape unscathed and try to ruin someone else's good time down the road.

I See Those Hands

Here's a shock, France is retreating again. She plans to withdraw her 200 special forces troops from Afghanistan. This decision to pull the troops would, of course, have nothing to do with the recent increased Taliban strength and engagement. Reportedly, France has balked at sending its 1,100 member NATO contingent outside the relatively safe Afghan capital, Kabul. "There is a general reorganization of our (troops)," Defense Minister Michele Alliot-Marie said during a visit to Afghanistan. I'll bet, Michele, a reorganization others call retreat.

Among the planned changes is a "withdrawal of special forces from Jalalabad in the coming weeks," she said. Despite the pullout, Alliot-Marie said that France intends to maintain its air power "which has backed up coalition forces numerous times" and is adding two helicopters in the advanced zone between Jalalabad, in the southeast, and Kabul. The French will continue to observe the action through heavy lenses.

Alliot-Marie also said that France plans to train Afghan special forces "because it appears important to us that the Afghans see that it is their own forces which are retaking the theater" of war. I can see it now. Raise your hand if you've been trained by the Americans. Raise both hands if you've been trained by the French.

Yeah, That's It, That's The Ticket

More than ten years ago, in 1995, Congress enacted legislation which calls for the United States to move its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The move can be postponed, by the president, every six months for national security reasons. Every six months for ten years this has happened and George Bush has just postponed it again. Despite that, Bush said in a memorandum to the secretary of state on December 15th, "My administration remains committed to beginning the process of moving our embassy to Jerusalem."

What is the national security issue and why after ten years has it not been addressed?

An article in Reuters quotes a White House anonymous official, "Moving our embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem now would complicate our ability to help Israelis and Palestinians advance toward peace and the president's two-state vision."

Can anyone in this government tell the truth straight up? Oh yeah, John Bolton, but he's resigned. I wonder why?

Now Santa's Helpers Are Politically Incorrect

Here's more political correctness gone awry.

A teacher at a western Louisville elementary school was told to change a Christmas tree bulletin board about two weeks ago after another teacher complained that it might offend some non-Christian students.

The Christmas tree at Brandeis Elementary was made out of construction-paper cutouts of children’s hands. Above it, it said: “Santa’s Helpers,” principal Servita West-Jordan said. West-Jordan said she asked the teacher to remove the word’s
“Santa’s Helpers” because she agreed that students in the class who were Indian or Muslim might be offended because they don’t necessarily believe in Christmas or Santa Claus.

West-Jordan said the teacher removed the entire display
about a week and a half ago, replacing it with a note that said the Grinch had stolen the bulletin board.

The teacher put the tree back up the next day with the words “Happy Holidays” above it.

“Everybody seems pleased with the outcome and we’ve moved past it,” West-Jordan said.

Aukram Burton, the Jefferson County Public Schools’ multi-cultural expert said, the district’s policy calls for holiday displays that don’t favor one religion over another.

“We want to include everyone and not to exclude anyone,” he said.

Burton said West-Jordan made the right decision by allowing the
Christmas tree to stay but requesting more inclusive words to go along with it
.

From The Courier-Journal.

One of the many problems with this multi-cultural expert is he thinks he's including by excluding. If you censor my religion you have chosen to exclude me. If someone is offended, they have chosen to exclude themselves. And, no, Principal West-Jordan everyone is not pleased, far from it.

This Day In History

On this date in 1925, Army General William "Billy" Mitchell, the man many consider to be the father of the US Air Force, was found guilty of conduct prejudicial to the good of the armed services.

Eventually vindicated, he was promoted and awarded the Medal of Honor 20 years after his death.

The Neighbors Are Nuts

Underlining its inability to establish real government, violence between Hamas and Fatah continues in the streets of Gaza.

Abbas has said he will call for early elections and in what amounts to a protest in Palestine, Hamas encouraged its followers to march (riot) across Gaza resulting in the wounding of eighteen Palestinians.

Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh says call for new vote were "inflammatory."I guess, but what isn't inflamatory to these madmen? In recent violence, three children of a Fatah security official were shot dead and this was followed by the execution of a Hamas judge.

It is certainly understandable why Israel would be reluctant to see a nation with this culture of killing established on their doorstep. It would be like building your dream house and then having someone erect an unsecured home for the criminally insane right next to it.

Sheriff Jones' Escort Service

Everyone, we can sleep secure in our beds again. The ACLU of Ohio has pledged to be a watchdog of Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones. All this, because he announced he is in the process of getting federal immigration law enforcement powers. It is contingent on his deputies being trained by ICE and executing a document outlining how local police will work under ICE's supervision.

The ACLU wants copies of any agreement between ICE and the sheriff because "Sheriff Jones has already demonstrated hostility towards the Hispanic population in Butler County," ACLU of Ohio Staff Attorney Carrie Davis said. "It is important to review the document and discern what he can and cannot do under this agreement and ensure he stays within those boundaries."

What is it about enforcing our laws that so infuriates the ACLUnatics? Why do they interpret law enforcement as racist?

In Warren County Commissioners Mike Kilburn, Pat South and Dave Young have agreed to pursue the same powers. Kilburn said that he thinks it's ridiculous that wanting to enforce laws is often criticized as mean-spirited or racist. Your right, Mr. Kilburn, but that's not the way the ACLU wants to spin it.

Kilburn states it as it is. "Look, this is the United States of America. We welcome immigrants. We welcome people from other countries who want to come here. But we expect them to do it legally," he said. "Folks that are here illegally are going to be escorted out."

Sheriff Jones just wants to be the escort service and I thank him for it.

America Bashing About To Be Accelerated

The friends of America's enemies are on the move. Patrick Leahy, the leftwing looney from the People's Republic of Vermont can't wait to subvert the war effort even more than he has up until now. He is warning of tougher oversight of the war on terrorism and, as the incoming chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, he is creating a new subcommitte. This one is to focus on legislation dealing with issues such as torture and detainee treatment. Democratic Whip Dick "The Turban" Durbin of Illinois will be the chair. The man who compared our soldiers to the Gestapo, the KGB and the Khmer Rouge is the Donk's idea of a fine unbiased overseer of our military's treatment of captured killers.

Meanwhile, Senator Bill Nelson, Democrat Florida, a member of the Armed Services and Foreign Relations committees, met with Assad of Syria even though the State Department said that it disapproved of his trip. The Donk's continue to display their absolute inability to show a united front in wartime.

Nelson was named to the Senate Intelligence Committee this week and said he was on a fact-finding mission to the region. Would you like to know what fact he discovered? Assad "clearly indicated a willingness to cooperate" in controlling the border with Iraq, he told reporters. Nelson reported this startling revelation to embassy officials and plans to brief other committee members as well. This guy should team up with Silvestre Reyes and they can become the "Dumb and Dumber" duo of DC.

Dancing The Pelosi Polka

On Monday, I wrote about William Jefferson's reelection, despite his pending indictment. This is just the beginning of a series of trials and tribulations for Nancy Pelosi as she tries to play politics as usual and still convince the public she is ushering in a new era of openess, honesty and integrity.

According to Pelosi, Jefferson will not return to his spot on the Ways and Means Committee, but nothing has been mentioned about another member, James McDermott, who was recently admonished by the House ethics committee for violating ethics standards by giving reporters access to an illegally taped telephone call involving Republican leaders a decade ago. It may be that in the eyes of the Donks this isn't really an ethics violation but good political practice.

Then there is Representative Alan Mollohan of West Virginia, who is in line to become chairman of an Appropriations subcommittee that oversees the FBI. Mollohan must answer questions about personal business deals.

Jefferson also holds a seat on the House Budget Committee and no one has indicated if he will retain that position, but the Washington Post writes that a source close to Pelosi indicates that she is more likely to place him on a lower-profile committee and hope the controversy dies down. We must try to make sure she doesn't get away with that strategy.

Nancy will have to do some mighty fancy stepping to keep the appearance of ethical, honest and open government while running business as usual politics.

The New Head Dunce Of House Intelligence

DUH!

CNN brings us this insight into the Democrat strategy to outdo the Republicans in leaving America unprotected. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, caring naught for what's best for her country, but focused on her dislike for Representative Jane Harman Democrat from California, chose Silvestre Reyes of Texas to head the Intelligence Committee satarting in January.

Reyes has his own
shady backround that makes him fit the pattern of "open, ethical and honest" government that Pelosi seems intent on foisting upon us. Also, he is not an advocate of securing our borders. However, here is the clincher. Every member of Congress should know who our enemies are and as much about them as possible, especially a representative who has served on the intelligence panel since 2001.

Pelosi described Reyes as having "impeccable national security credentials" (whatever that means to her), and said, "When tough questions are required, whether they relate to intelligence shortcomings before the 9/11 attacks or the war in Iraq, or to the quality on intelligence on Iran or North Korea, he does not hesitate to ask them.''
He may ask them, but he certainly isn't remembering the answers.

When asked by CQ National Security Editor Jeff Stein whether al Qaeda is one or the other of the two major branches of Islam, Sunni or Shiite, Reyes answered "they are probably both," then ventured "Predominantly... probably Shiite."
WRONG!

This would be hilarious if it weren't so typical of our government in general. He also could not answer questions put by Stein about Hezbollah, a Shiite group on the U.S. list of terrorist organizations that is based in Southern Lebanon. Asked to describe the Lebanese militant group, Congressional Quarterly said Reyes responded: "Hezbollah. Uh, Hezbollah," and then said, "Why do you ask me these questions at five o'clock?" I guess the terrorists all clock out and go home at 5PM, just like Reyes' brain.

Calls from CNN to Reyes' office asking for reaction to Stein's column have not been returned. They're probably clueless as to where the ringing is coming from. If it were a cash register they would respond.

Poster Child Of The New Honest Congress

In their continuing efforts at a "New Misdirection" promising the most ethical, open and honest congress in history, the Democrats return William "frozen assets" Jefferson to the House. Of course, these are some of the same voters who returned racist Mayor Ray Nagin to power and he backed Jefferson in this runoff.

It is beyond amusing that the donks suspected and convicted felon club is out of control and sees no reason to abide by any new sense of ethics or honesty. It's business as usual for the left's assortment of embarassments and the show they put on over the next two years should leave no doubt as to what the Democrats really consider ethical, honest and open. Let the games begin!

The Constitution And The Liberal Eraser

There is a case before the Federal Appeals Court in Washington DC that bears watching by those of us who have bemoaned liberal groups and activist judges twisting and distorting the intent of the constitution.

Attorneys for the District of Columbia are arguing that the Second Amendment, the right to bear arms, applies only to militias. They are trying to defend the city's ban on handguns.

"We interpret the Second Amendment in military terms," said Todd Kim, the District's solicitor general, who told the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit that the city would also have had the authority to ban all weapons.

"Show me anybody in the 19th century who interprets the Second Amendment the way you do," Judge Laurence Silberman said. "It doesn't appear until much later, the middle of the 20th century."

Indeed, the right of Americans to own firearms has long been a tradition, an accepted right and a personal freedom.

If the courts decide that the right to bear arms refers exclusively to a well regulated militia, does the lack of need for a militia void the right to bear arms? There is something even more sinister at play here and it reveals itself in the statement by one of the plaintiffs' attorneys. "That's quite a task for any court to decide that a right is no longer necessary. If we decide that it's no longer necessary, can we erase any part of the Constitution?"

I can hear the murmuring from the depths of liberal hell welling up as I write. Is this another opportunity to subvert the intent of the Founding Fathers? While feigning love for the constitution, this, like freedom of religion, is a right the liberals love to hate.

If this case makes it to the Supreme Court and they are willing to hear it, it could be more significant than any abortion or death penalty case. If the government finally decides to remove the weapons of the law abiding citizens of our nation then the Liberty Bell can be used to toll the death knell of American freedom.

The Swine Flew?

From the SunHerald comes this gem.

Kevin Pugh, 20, of Cedar Bluff, has been fined $279 for tossing a pig over the counter at the Holiday Inn Express in West Point on Nov. 12.

Pugh pleaded guilty Tuesday in city court to a charge of disturbing the peace.

West Point Police Lt. Danny McCaskill has said Pugh didn't know the employees of the hotel. There was no evidence intoxication was a factor.

No one was hurt, including the pig, officers said.

"This was the silliest thing I've ever seen," McCaskill said. "Almost every officer we had was involved because the incidents kept happening at different hours."

McCaskill said Pugh was accused of walking into the hotel and throwing the 60-pound pig over the counter.

"He said it was a prank," McCaskill said. "It must be some redneck thing, because I haven't ever heard of anything like it."

McCaskill said there have been four late-night incidents involving animal-tossing at West Point businesses. Twice a pig was tossed and two of the incidents involved possums.

All four of the disturbances took place between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m., McCaskill said.

Pugh is accused in a second animal-throwing incident at a Hardee's restaurant. He has pleaded innocent to disturbing the peace in that case and will appear in city court on Dec. 19.

Mile High Cheese Cutting Club

An American Airlines flight from Washington to Texas landed at Nashville airport, Tennessee, after passengers alerted the crew to the smell of burning sulphur.

Lynne Lowrance, a spokeswoman for Nashville International Airport Authority said all the passengers and their luggage were taken off the plane and searched.

A very unlucky canine team was brought in to sniff the aircraft for explosives.

After questioning by the FBI, a female passenger admitted to lighting matches on board the aircraft to conceal her gas, Ms Lowrance said.

“For a long time she did not admit to striking matches and I think that was just out of embarrassment,” she said.

“She did finally admit to it saying she had a medical problem about excessive gas.”

The unidentified woman was not charged, but “American Airlines did ban her from flying on their airline for a very long time,” Ms Lowrance said.

Castration Of America Continues

In its never ending attempt to make a eunuch out of Uncle Sam, the left has now caused the reignation of John Bolton as UN ambassador. A voice of conservative righteousness has now been silenced much to the joy of the mincing, malicious magpies of liberalism.

From the Calcutta News comes this recent piece exemplifying the role John Bolton took at that world body of corruption called the United Nations.

Bolton was furious over the adoption by the General Assembly of a resolution which said the assembly regretted the deaths of 19 civilians in an attack by the Israeli military in the town of Beit Hanoun last week and delivered a scathing attack on the UN.

"Many of the sponsors of that resolution are notorious abusers of human rights themselves, and were seeking to deflect criticism of their own policies," he said.

"This type of resolution serves only to exacerbate tensions by serving the interests of elements hostile to Israel's inalienable and recognized right to exist."

"This deepens suspicions about the United Nations that will lead many to conclude that the organization is incapable of playing a helpful role in the region," Bolton continued.

"In a larger sense, the United Nations must confront a more significant question, that of its relevance and utility in confronting the challenges of the 21st century. We believe that the United Nations is ill served when its members seek to transform the organization into a forum that is a little more than a self-serving and a polemical attack against Israel or the United States," he said.

"The Human Rights Council has quickly fallen into the same trap and de-legitimized itself by focusing attention exclusively on Israel. Meanwhile, it has failed to address real human rights abuses in Burma, Darfur, the DPRK, and other countries," Bolton charged.

"The problem of anti-Israel bias is not unique to the Human Rights Council. It is endemic to the culture of the United Nations. It is a decades-old, systematic problem that transcends the whole panoply of the UN organizations and agencies," he continued.

This is a voice of truth that will be greatly missed.
