We'll try to be back at it again tomorrow.

We Don't Need No Stinking Passports
The Washington Times reports that House leaders and the Government Printing Office's watchdog said they are investigating security concerns about the production of electronic passports. The Times reported previously that the GPO chose two European computer chip makers over U.S. manufacturers to make tens of millions of electronic passports. The passports are being assembled in Thailand by one company that was a victim of Chinese economic espionage.
Rep. Bennie Thompson, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, criticized the GPO for using foreign components in new electronic passports."It is just plain irresponsible to jeopardize the gold standard in document security by outsourcing production when U.S. companies ought to be able to do the same work here," said Mr. Thompson, who announced that his panel is investigating the outsourcing.
So now the integrity of our passports have been compromised. Ultimately it probably doesn't matter because whoever wants to get in here can simply walk across the Canadian or Mexican border. Still, what nitwit allowed this to happen? Publish the names of those responsible and what the consequences will be for their stupidity.

More Scholarly Musings From Jeremiah Wright
"This is somebody that was preaching three sermons at least a week for 30 years and it got boiled down ... into a half-minute sound clip and just played it over and over and over again, partly because it spoke to some of the racial divisions we have in this country."
However another of the pastor's remarks has surfaced, this time in writing, with a definite slur against Italians. In the November/December issue of Trumpet Newsmagazine, the pastor offered this scholarly thought, "The Italians for the most part looked down their garlic noses at the Galileans."
There is more than half a minute snippet to suggest what bigotry festers in the core of Jeremiah Wright and his ilk. For Obama to imply anything different shows what he thinks of America.

Known By The Company You Keep
The Republican Jewish Coalition has called on Senator Barack Obama to remove him as his military advisor and national campaign co-chairman. McPeak blames the failure of the Middle East peace process on the influence of American Jews. The problem, said McPeak is "New York City. Miami. We have a large vote -- vote, here in favor of Israel. And no politician wants to run against it."
He also has a has criticized Israel for not returning to the 1967 borders and for not returning the Golan Heights to Syria. What a military strategist!
Let's see, if someone were to talk about the influence of black voters in some of the recent state races would there be an outcry from the Obama camp? Take it to the bank. So why does Barack, who claims he only wants to unite everybody, have this divisive, mean spirited individual on his team? Wasn't he aware of this guys opinions either?

Democrats Making News
New York's new governor, David Paterson, disclosed last week that he and his wife both committed adultery several years ago, and this week he said that he used cocaine in his 20s and smoked marijuana when he was younger. Stay tuned on this one.
Paterson replaced Eliot Spitzer who had liaisons with women from a prostitution service. Investigators believe Spitzer paid up to $80,000 for prostitutes over a period of several years while he was the Attorney General and Governor of New York. "Mr. Clean" was found to be dirty; the "Sheriff of Wall Street" had to get out of town.
And then we have Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick charged with perjury and other counts after sexually explicit text messages surfaced that appear to contradict his sworn denials of an affair with a top aide. Hey, it worked for Clinton.
The Democrat party, progressive degeneration of all moral standards.

The Threat Is Still Out There
"It's surprising how varied [the threat] is, how many directions it comes from, how geographically spread out it is," he said.
Yet, the Democrats, the House in particular, refuse to do what is necessary to update the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.
The Donks are more interested in playing politics than they are in winning the war on terror.

There You Go Again
This time former Clinton White House aide and political strategist James Carville told the New York Times in a story published Saturday that Bill Richardson's decision to endorse Barack Obama was an "act of betrayal."
The endorsement "came right around the anniversary of the day when Judas sold out for 30 pieces of silver, so I think the timing is appropriate, if ironic," Carville said, referring to the Easter weekend.
If nothing else, this shows the audacity of the left. How can you liken the endorsement of your candidate's opponent to the betrayal of the savior of the human race? Of course when you give legitimacy to pastors like Jeremiah Wright, you can believe in anything or anyone.Saturday, March 22, 2008
Bubba Clinton McCarthy
No one is safe from the left wing name calling. No longer content to just paint the right with the broad brush of bigots, sexists, racists, nativists and homophobes they are turning on their own.
Merrill “Tony” McPeak, a co-chair of Obama’s presidential campaign, has just compared former President Bill Clinton to Senator Joseph McCarthy. McCarthy of course was the devil incarnate to left wing socialists. For them to compare Clinton to him is beyond the ridiculous it is an outright absurdity.
Of course, at this point Obama's boys will fan the flames of any fire that can be used to draw attention away from Jeremiah Wright and his spiritual bond with Barack. Name calling is the last resort of those who have lost the argument.
Bill and Hillary are becoming the victims of their own monster.

Obama's Typical People
What I want to know is are there only "typical white people" for Obama or are there "typical black people" as well. If not, why not?
And, if there are typical black people would they be more like Jeremiah Wright or Martin Luther King? Would they be more like Al Sharpton or Juan Williams? Would they be more like Jesse Jackson or Bill Cosby?
Come on, why is no one holding this man's feet to the fire for such an outrageous statement? Why is a man who would trade his grandmother for the nomination a desirable candidate? He makes me want to puke!

Osama And The Cartoon Crusade
"Your publications of these drawings -- part of a new crusade in which the Pope of the Vatican had a significant role -- is a confirmation from you that the war continues," said bin Laden, addressing "those who are wise at the European Union".
Was he unaware that the war was continuing? Did he not know that we are still hunting his pathetic butt and that many of us would like to see his mouth stuffed with pork rinds and his head impaled on the White House lawn?

Wright Was Wrong
This past week was not an exemplary moment for the man who has prided himself on integrity and honesty throughout this campaign. The fact is that the senator has no plausible excuse for why he remained a member of Rev. Wright's church. He and his family should have immediately left that congregation for the embrace of a church that teaches the Bible rather than the alienation, lunacy and outright mockery of Christian teachings.
How could a Christian ever allow themselves to sit under such a pastor, thereby giving tacit approval to such an anti-Christian message?

Harder To Swallow Than A Mustard And Relish Sandwich
Someone needs to ask why a "Christian" pastor isn't preaching the gospel of Christ as one of grace, mercy and forgiveness. If your pastor isn't preaching Christ and Him crucified that should be enough to make you find a new shepherd.

Obama Knew
More deceit from Obama becomes obvious, as we now find out he was in a pew, nodding in agreement, last July 22nd, while his pastor blamed American whites for the world's problems.
Why then was it that only on Friday he denounced such statements as “inflammatory and appalling”? Why was it that when he saw recent videos showing Wright making such comments as “God damn America,” he claimed to be “shocked”?The evidence is piling up. Barack knew, yet he did nothing to distance himself from such bigotry until the truth was exposed.
Barack has made bad choices, in his business dealings, in his choice of spiritual mentors and in his administration. That makes him a bad choice for a presidential candidate.
UPDATE: There is some dispute as to Obama being at the July 22nd service. Regardless, for him to claim that he knew nothing of Wright's racism and anti-Americanism is beyond belief.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day
THE BIRTH OF SAINT PATRICK
On the eighth day of March it was, some people say,
That Saint Patrick at midnight he first saw the day;
While others declare 'twas the ninth he was born,
And 'twas all a mistake between midnight and morn;
For mistakes will occur in a hurry and shock,
And some blamed the baby - and some blamed the clock -
'Till with all their cross questions sure no one could know,
If the child was too fast - or the clock was too slow.
Now the first faction fight in old Ireland, they say,
Was all on account of Saint Patrick's birthday,
Some fought for the eighth - for the ninth more would die,
And who wouldn't see right, sure they blacken'd his eye!
At last, both the factions so positive grew,
That each kept a birthday, so Pat then had two,
'Till Father Mulcahy, who show'd them their sins,
Said "No one could have two birthdays, but a twins."Says he, "Boys, don't be fightin' for eight or for nine,
don't be always dividin' - but sometimes combine;
Combine eight with nine, and seventeen is the mark,
So let that be his birthday." - "Amen," says the clerk.
"If he wasn't a twins, sure our hist'ry will show
That, at least, he's worth any two saints that we know!"
Then they all got blind drunk - which completed their bliss,
And we keep up the practice from that day to this.

Barack Changes Rezko Story
You'd think Obama would have taken care of putting this guy behind him. At the very least it shows lack of attention to detail on the part of those around him. Unfortunately for Barack it just adds to the pattern of having to answer questions by saying he was unaware of reality.
What's going to pop up next?

Danger, Will Robinson
Then, he was promoted by Louis Farrakhan and he backed away from that endorsement.
Now Barack Obama cuts loose his "spiritual advisor" because after a twenty year relationship he didn't know the man was a racist?
Will he remain a member of the church and continue to fellowship with that congregation? What is his wife's opinion? Is she proud to be a member of that "spiritual" community?
There is too much unanswered to consider this man for the senate seat he holds, let alone the chief executive of the most powerful nation on earth.
Warning bells are going off all over the place despite media efforts to muffle them.
Will America pay heed?

They're Back
The Senate rejected calls from both parties' presidential candidates to take an election-year break from pork-barrel spending as a Democratic-run Congress passed budget plans that would torpedo hundreds of billions of dollars in tax cuts won by President Bush.
This is just a portent of things to come. Take away the presidential veto by installing Obamaman or Shrillary so they can rubber stamp the liberals spending sprees and we can kiss all our investments goodbye. What a sorry state of affairs.

McCain And Romney?
Yesterday, John McCain joked that he got the impression Mitt Romney is interested in the No. 2 spot on the Republican presidential ticket.
That came after watching an interview with Fox News Tuesday night, during which Romney said, “I think any Republican leader in this country would be honored to be asked to serve as the vice presidential nominee, myself included. Of course this is a nation which needs strong leadership. And if the nominee of our party asked you to serve with him, anybody would be honored to receive that call … and to accept it, of course.”
McCain refused to indicate how seriously he is considering Romney, but some reports said aides to President Bush are pushing a McCain-Romney ticket. That would definitely bring some needed economic savy to the table and ease the concerns of many conservatives.

Party Of Prejudice
Could the great liberal, progressive, some of my best friends are party be nothing more than a bunch of bigots? It certainly seems that way.
Where is the outrage? Why is the media not up in arms? The silence is deafening.

One Day Everything Changes
"For the past nine years, eight years as attorney general, and one as governor, I have tried to uphold a vision of progressive politics that would rebuild New York and create opportunity for all. We sought to bring real change to New York and that will continue.
Today I want to briefly address a private matter. I have acted in a way that violates my obligations to my family and violates my, or any, sense of right and wrong. I apologize first and most importantly to my family. I apologize to the public, whom I promised better.
I do not believe that politics in the long run is about individuals. It is about ideas, the public good, and doing what is best for the state of New York. But I have disappointed and failed to live up to the standard I expected of myself. I must now dedicate some time to regain the trust of my family.
I will not be taking questions. Thank you very much. I will report back to you in short order. Thank you very much."
Displaying his usual arrogance, he ignored questions about whether he would resign. Note that he thinks this is a private matter, even though he has broken the law. What else would you expect from a man who wanted illegal aliens to get legitimate drivers licenses?
What is truly sad is this man is the father of three teen daughters. Way to go, dad!

The Enemy Never Rests
The terrorists are unrelenting in their attempts to win this war and many of the politicians and citizens in our own country seem oblivious to the threat. How else can you explain the success of Barack Obama?

Mad Muslims Running Amok In Afghanistan
"We don't want Dutch and Danish forces in Afghanistan. If our government does not kick them out, we will continue our demonstrations until they leave Afghanistan," said one protester. "If these forces do not leave, we are prepared to carry out suicide attacks against them."
Afghanistan is a Muslim nation where criticizing Muhammad or the Koran are crimes that are punishable by death. And we're enabling this insanity.Saturday, March 08, 2008
Wasting Money On Idiots
Keith Hennessey, director of the president's National Economic Council, said the letters are being sent to explain how the tax rebates will work.
Anyone who is too stupid or ignorant to follow the news and comprehend what is a relatively simple process doesn't deserve a letter or a rebate. We are constantly spending money to protect the idiots in the world or guarding ourselves from their asinine behavior. We spend money putting up signs telling us that a stop sign is coming up and then add bumps in the road. Why not just make the driving test a little more difficult, placing the burden on the applicant instead of making the rest of us pay for idiots and uninsured motorists.
Let's have commercials that encourage cretins to try dangerous stunts instead of warning them not to attempt this at home.
I'm sick of having to pay more for products because the morons must be kept from making themselves extinct.

The UN Adds To Its History Of Failure
Why are we part of an organization that allows a terrorist third world hell hole like Libya to sit in on such discussions? What a joke! Why are we trying to create a similar hell hole in Palestine? If we're so intent on more terrorist totalitarian states why not just release everyone on death row, arm them, give them foreign aid and let them set up shop in Vermont? Then all the conspiracy loving left-wing lunatics can move there and live their Utopian socialist dream.

Bombing In New York City
The recruiting office, one of the nation's busiest, has been the site of periodic anti-war protests, The Associated Press reported.
Hopefully they will apprehend the bomber and learn if this is an individual or a group crime. It is odd that the blast is similar to one at the Mexican consulate in October and one at the British consulate in 2005.

There Must Be Something In The Maple Syrup
Last night, they not only picked the Obama man, but voters in two of their towns approved measures calling for the indictment of President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney. They want police to arrest Bush and Cheney if they ever visit Brattleboro or nearby Marlboro. I'm sure the Secret Service would have something to say about that. In fact, I would love to see the confrontation.
"I hope the one thing that people take from this is, 'Hey, it can be done,'" said Kurt Daims, 54, who organized the petition drive that led to the Brattleboro vote. What exactly is that you have done? You have advertised that you and the other inmates in your ward have not been taking your meds and we can expect more psychotic episodes until treatment is administered. I think Kurt should be deputized and sent to make the arrests.

Neighborhood News
Meanwhile there are interesting developments in the neighborhood. Colombia launched a raid into Ecuador and killed a top FARC rebel which has caused Ecuador to send troops to the border and of course Hugo Chavez is threatening to also become involved. Perhaps this will develop into a scenario that will hasten his demise.
Elsewhere, the United States and Canada signed a military agreement on February 14th allowing the armed forces from one nation to support the armed forces of the other nation during a domestic civil emergency, even one that does not involve a cross-border crisis. What is this all about and why is there almost no mention of it anywhere?

If We Only Had A Fence
It's time to inform the Mexican government that when our law enforcement is attacked we will hunt down the criminals and if that means following them into Mexico then stand aside. We've had to deal with this garbage as far back as Pancho Villa.
Payback Coming To Gaza
The coward Haniyeh had been in hiding for weeks lest he be in the same danger he willingly subjects the elderly and women and children to, but on Friday he emerged for prayers and vowed Hamas would not be intimidated.
What a laugh, is he praying to satan? How can Hamas not be intimidated when their leader is in hiding?
"You are mistaken if you thought that targeting buildings, ministries and police stations is going to stop our work," Haniyeh said, directing his comments at Israel. "We will work under trees, in tents and in the streets."
Of course he will not be doing that. More likely he will be in a bunker or perhaps a mosque, hospital or orphanage, dressed as a woman and hiding behind children.
Given no choice except to invade Gaza, I hope the IDF eliminates the cowardly swine Haniyeh. There is no reason to take him alive.
