Obama isn't even in office yet and he's already issued almost as many disclaimers as he made promises.
The recession could last for years. Things may be worse than they appear.
That's pretty grim news from the former harbinger of hope. How did we go from "yes we can" to "let's wait and see?" I guess this isn't the America Obama knew.
If Barack keeps making choices like Leon Panetta, things are worse than we thought and they will be for years to come. This guy is hoping to lock in his second term of office early by telling us none of this can be fixed in just four short years, especially if he doesn't have carte blanche to do as he pleases.
Meanwhile, the mad Muslims, Chinese, Hugo Chavez, North Korea will all get a free pass to run amok. For that, Leon Panetta is a marvelous choice.
