Peace In Our Time

Just a reminder, it was this date in 1938 that Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Edouard Daladier, and Neville Chamberlain signed the Munich Pact. Returning to Britain, Chamberlain declared they had achieved "peace in our time." He thought Hitler was sincere and a "gentleman."

For all the would be Chamberlains today please reflect on the cost of appeasement and remember freedom is not free. As one member of Parliament quoting Oliver Cromwell, told Chamberlain later on, "Depart, I say, and let us have done with you!"
Words to remember.

John Edwards, Hair And Hyperbole

When asked what he could do about "inner-city kids partaking in violence" this is what John Edwards had to say.

“We cannot build enough prisons to solve this problem. And the idea that we can keep incarcerating and keep incarcerating — pretty soon we’re not going to have a young African-American male population in America. They’re all going to be in prison or dead. One of the two.”

As National Review Online points out, black men between the ages of 18 and 24 in college outnumber those in that age range in prison by a 4 to 1 ratio.

Exaggerated, irresponsible statements are a mainstay of trial lawyers and liberals and little Johnnie is both. However, this type of rhetoric should be totally unacceptable in a candidate for any national office, especially the presidency.

Out Of The Shadows

Pedro Zapeta, an illegal alien from Guatemala, doesn't like the USA. "I no longer feel good about this country," Zapeta says. Why? Well, it seems Pedro broke the law by sneaking into America 11 years ago. He never learned English during those years, but he did manage to save up $59,000 and broke the law again by paying no taxes.

Now, he has broken the law once again by trying to leave the country with his $59,000 without filling out the required US Customs declaration.

Pedro sees it differently. "They are treating me like a criminal when all I am is a working man," he said. Pedro, doesn't seem to think that the laws which apply to everyone else should apply to him. I wonder how many US taxpayer supported benefits he availed himself of while paying nothing in taxes himself.

The article at CNN calls him an immigrant, but he is not. He is a trespasser who tried to take what he could and return from whence he came. He then has the gall to condemn the country he violated. Break the laws in Guatemala, Pedro, and see what happens to you there.

Make Sure LOST Loses

Why does our Senate refuse to do its job? When it comes to protecting our nation they seem to have little enthusiasm for the work required.

This time it's the Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST). Neither the president nor the Senate are willing to have an honest debate. Today, the Senate Foreign Relationship Committee, chaired by Joe Biden, will hold its first hearing on the treaty. Bush administration officials will all testify in favor, but no opposition will be heard.

Go here to read details on this treaty which is simply another assault on the sovereignty of the United States. Once again, just like when they tried to ramrod the amnesty bill through, we will have to make our opposition known to our senators in no uncertain terms.

Hofstra's Ethics Horrors Conference

Remember Lynne Stewart? She is the attorney who was convicted of aiding terrorists and lying to the US government. Stewart is an admitted radical who supports "revolution of the people that overthrows institutions."

Yet, Hofstra University thinks this convicted, disbarred and disgraced subversive is fit to address their "Legal Ethics Conference." Are they going to feature her as the unethical, traitorous shyster poster witch for the event? After all, the conference is close to Halloween.

Why have our institutions of higher learning become playgrounds for society's bizarre mutants?

Hat tip Michelle Malkin.

Bollinger's Bravado

I'm not sure what Lee Bollinger thinks he accomplished with his scolding of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad yesterday. In an attempt to justify his invitation to the Persian madman, he asked questions that he knew would not be answered and made accusations that he knew would be denied. What did he reveal or uncover that we did not already know? Absolutely zero. So all he did was give the little lunatic a speaking platform.

I was rather hoping Bollinger's bad boys would rush the stage as they have done to deny freedom of speech to American citizens in the past. I knew it wouldn't happen, but it was a funny fantasy.

Bollinger is probably congratulating himself for standing up to Mahmoud the malevolent, meanwhile Ahmadinejad is laughing at the foolishness of the impotent university president and the silliness of his students and faculty. Bollinger has dramatically displayed that knowledge without wisdom is worthless and sometimes dangerous.

For a real laugh read the Islamic Republic News Agency's take on it.

The Devil Went Down To New York City

He's back! Persia's very own prince of darkness and lord of the flies has arrived in NYC. He will not get to desecrate the hallowed earth of Ground Zero with his filthy cloven hooves, but he will be welcomed by the liberal covens of Columbia University.

Once again Mephistophele's minion will address the UN, imagining himself highlighted with hell's halo while the sheep of the General Assembly remain transfixed. Those who give this monster a forum from which to spread his hate will have much to answer for later.

Syria Replaces Iraq In Axis Of Evil

Citing the Sunday Times, FOXNews reports that Israeli commandos seized nuclear material from North Korea during a raid inside Syria. This happened before the bombing on September 6th. A senior American source said the administration sought proof of nuclear-related activities before giving the attack its blessing.

A number of North Koreans are believed to have been killed in the strike, based on reports from Asian governments regarding conversations between Chinese and North Korean officials. Ballistic missile technicians and military scientists had been working for some time with the Syrians.

Syrian officials flew to Pyongyang, the North Korean capital, last week, reinforcing the view that the two nations were coordinating their response.

In another report, Newsweek quoted Uzi Arad, a former senior Mossad official and ex-policy advisor to then-prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as saying of the reported operation: I do know what happened, and when it comes out, it will stun everyone."

Well, this is certainly a stunning accomplishment by the IDF and only confirms what everyone other than Pelosi and the Nancy boys knew all along. God bless Israel.

Meanwhile, Columbia University welcomes the Iranian Holocaust denier, while banning ROTC. The university's president, Lee Bollinger, is a fool and a disgrace.

UPDATE: Dean of Columbia University says they would invite Hitler to speak.
Get a clue, liberal pinheads, you just did. Will your tough students and faculty dare to challenge the Iranian Hitler the way they did Jim Gilchrist of the Minutemen? Not likely, left winged chickens.

Virtual Failure By Boeing And Chertoff

Just as I predicted, the "virtual fence" is a failure. Boeing, the major vendor in the project has failed to make the $20 million farce operational. Don't worry though, our feckless defender Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff has only paid for 75% of the cost and is withholding the balance . What a tough guy!

Boeing has "retooled their team on the ground and replaced some of the managers. ... They are now working through the problems of system integration as we speak," Chertoff said. "I think they put their A-team in place to do it."

He thinks? That comment tells you just how much Chertoff cares about securing our borders.

Is this more gut feel from the security psychic it is our misfortune to have making sure we are protected? Can't we get someone with real managerial skills to head up one of the most important departments in our nation? Wahington fails us, once again.

Have The Courage To Close The Curtain

Like Jimmy Carter, Dan Rather is another discredited old fool who just won't shut up and and gracefully fade away. Now, he is suing CBS and another old fool, Larry King, is supplying him with a protected forum in which to babble.

Let's see Dan is doing this not for the money, but for the principle. Why then doesn't he sue for $1 instead of $70 million? He says, "We have to get back to integrity in the news.” Well, Dan your failure to maintain news integrity is one of the really big reasons you're no longer relevant.

Like an old sports figure who sadly keeps trying to play after his physical gifts are gone, Dan lusts for the days of yore when he could successfully engage in repartee with Tricky Dick or struggle with security at the Democratic National Convention. Oh, for the days when there were real stories and one didn't have to invent them.

Dan has had a history of strange behavior, odd statements and no small degree of phoniness. What seems to be really bothering him is no one cares what he has to say anymore.

Jimmy Jabber

Stand back, the foreign policy paragon, Jimmy Carter, has spoken.

"Iran is quite distant from Israel," said Carter. "I think it would be almost inconceivable that Iran would commit suicide by launching one or two missiles of any kind against the nation of Israel."

It should have been inconceivable that Iran would commit suicide by attacking American soil and taking American hostages. Oh wait, that was when we had a president who was afraid of killer bunnies. What was his name? Oh right, the same Jimmy Carter who now thinks his advice on world affairs is worth more than peanuts.

Mahmoud And Bashar Sittin' In A Tree

The Jerusalem Post says that proof of cooperation between Iran and Syria in the proliferation and development of weapons of mass destruction was brought to light Monday in a Jane's Defence Weekly report that dozens of Iranian engineers and 15 Syrian officers were killed in a July 23 accident in Syria.

According to the report, a
joint Syrian-Iranian team was attempting to mount a chemical warhead on a Scud missile when the explosion occurred, spreading lethal chemical agents, including sarin nerve gas.

Perhaps it's an appropriate time for self appointed general Nancy Pelosi to once again visit giraffe boy Bashad and ask him how this works into his desire for peace in the Middle East. Or, she could ask him why
Syria is neither a signatory of the Chemical Weapons Convention nor the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty.

If nothing else there might be another photo opportunity of her making a total ass of herself, again.

Craig's New Potty Pals

Toilet tease Larry Craig has attracted support from a source that should tell him just how far he has fallen. The ACLU has come to his defense, saying his bathroom bust was probably unconstitutional and urging the Minnesota District Court to allow him to withdraw his guilty plea.

ACLU Executive Director Anthony Romero, the organization's own gay caballero, said, "Sen. Craig has not always been a great friend of civil liberties, but you shouldn't have to endorse the civil liberties of others to keep your own."

What a crock! For the ACLU this is all about protecting solicitation for gay sex in a public restroom under the guise of free speech. Where was the ACLU when Imus was under attack? There have been numerous attacks on free speech by the pc police and where was the ACLU?

As usual, the ACLU takes up the cause of only those who aid their agenda.

Durbin's Dirty Dream Not Dead Yet

The slime ridden Dick "the turban" Durbin is at it again. This time he plans to turn his "Dream Act" into a nocturnal emission by attaching it to an amendment to a defense funding measure scheduled to come before the Senate today.

It would give conditional legal status to immigrants brought to the U.S. at an early age.

To qualify, they would need to be in the country for at least five years, have a high school diploma and meet other requirements. Over the next six years, they would have to spend two years in college or the military, after which they could become legal permanent residents, a step toward citizenship.

The American people told this vermin, infesting our halls of government, that amnesty is unacceptable. Yet, they persist in selling us out behind closed doors and undermine the nation with actions such as this. The plan is to acieve amnesty in bits and pieces if they cannot ram it down our throats all at once.

The traitor Durbin is not alone. Read more in this article from the LA Times. Feinstein, Reid and others are equally guilty, but none more reprehensible than Durbin.

Contact your Senators once again and stop the piecemeal amnesty.

The Consensus Candidate

Word has it that President Bush has settled on Michael B. Mukasey, a retired federal judge from New York, to replace Alberto Gonzales as attorney general and Mukasey has accepted.

He is what's known as a consensus candidate which means, for some reasons, the liberals think he's acceptable. That alone should give one reservations about him being the right man for the job. We'll have to wait and see what the criticisms are from both sides.

Out Of The Shadows

Here we go again. The Star-Ledger has a story of two illegal aliens attacking a woman in Fairfield, New Jersey.

According to the newspaper, one illegal, the alleged rapist, was arrested almost immediately after he was spotted attacking his victim and chased down, police said. A second man believed to have aided in the woman's capture, who fled the scene when he was spotted, was arrested Tuesday night. A third man was charged with hindering the investigation, officials said. All three are illegals from Guatemala.

Fortunately a recent directive from the state attorney general caused the police to report these animals to ICE.

Perhaps Geraldo Rivera would like to take up the cause of these immigrants also.

He Might Be Dangerous?

The Detroit News reports that Houssein Zorkot is being held on $1 million bond on gun charges after he was found leaving a Dearborn, Michigan park with an AK-47.

Police stopped the 27 year old Zorkot's SUV as he was leaving the park. He was wearing dark clothes that could have camouflaged him at night.

After his arrest, police sought a warrant at the man's home, where they seized a laptop computer and several pictures. No other guns were found in the house.

The man also had visited Lebanon within the past month, police said.

Bond was set at the unusually high rate because it was unclear whether he was dangerous, Mayor John "Jack" O'Reilly said. The gun was purchased the night before in a nearby suburban community, O'Reilly stated.

"The bond was set because of the nature of this," O'Reilly said. "We can't be sure he might not be a threat. We really don't have enough information to know what his intent was. The indication is he better not be released right now until we know what he is up to." Ya think???

Is it now unreasonable to think that someone in dressed in dark clothes in a park at night, armed with an AK-47 is dangerous? If nothing else, they are dangerously stupid and a threat to themselves as well as those around them. In the worst case, which is what must be presumed these days they are invoved, alone or with otthers, in some psychotic mission of terrorism. Get a grip mayor, your town is Dearbornistan.

UPDATE: Police say he has a website where he claims to be a member of the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.

Buddha Bombed In Pakistan

Because they are so tolerant, peace loving and appreciative of other cultures and religions the prophet's psychotics tried, on Tuesday, to destroy another work of art. This time it was a seventh-century Buddhist rock carving in Pakistan's Swat valley, northwest of the capital, Islamabad. Last week, militants blew up about 60 music, video and cosmetics stalls in a market in the valley after their owners ignored warnings to close their businesses that the Islamists deemed un-Islamic.

Six years ago the Taliban blew up the Bamiyan Buddha statues in Afghanistan because they were offensive to Islam. Just another few reasons why the islamomaniacs must be destroyed themselves. When are we going to allow our military a free hand in completing that task? Of, course if coalition soldiers had accidentally destroyed or damaged anything it would have made headlines.

LA Bound Iraqis Caught In Peru

From The Washington Times comes a report of ten Iraqis with forged passports and documents attempting to enter the US by way of a flight from Peru to Los Angeles. An eleventh suspect is still at large while the ten are being held at Lima's Lurigancho prison.

One of the men arrested is thought to have links to al Qaeda, according to Peruvian National Police Colonel Roberto Lujan. The suspects were not employed during their stay. "Someone was funding them but we do not know who yet," Col. Lujan said.

And still our government refuses to secure our borders. At least the Senate had approved a proposal prohibiting the Transportation Department from spending money on a NAFTA program giving Mexican trucks access to U.S. highways.

Putin Dissolves Russian Government

Just in from FOXNews: The Kremlin is reported as saying that President Vladimir Putin dissolved the government Wednesday with less than three months remaining before parliamentary elections.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov made the decision based on "the approaching major political events in the country and a desire to give the president full freedom in making decisions, including personnel."

What is Putin up to now?

Fly the Flag

Fly the Flag Campaign

eagleflag.jpg

On this 6th anniversary of the attack on our great nation, one of your jobs is to email this flag campaign reminder to your lists and/or post it on your blog and any message boards you have access to. Let's make sure our nation is awash in our colors on 9/11, a reminder to all who would try to hurt us, including the enemy within, that these colors do not run.

9/11 Flag Flying

Please join us in this FLY THE FLAG campaign.

We have just a few days to get the word out all across this great land and into every community in the United States of America. If you are able please tell at least 11 people and if each of those people do the same, well you get the idea.

THE PROGRAM IS THIS:

On Monday, September 11th, 2006, an American flag should be displayed outside every home, apartment, office, and store in the United States. Every individual should make it their duty to display an American flag on this fifth anniversary of our country's worst tragedy. We do this in honor of those who lost their lives on 9/11, their families, friends and loved ones who continue to endure the pain, and those who today are fighting at home and abroad to preserve our cherished freedoms. In the days, weeks and months following 9/11, our country was bathed in American flags as citizens mourned the incredible losses and stood shoulder-to-shoulder against terrorism.
Sadly, those flags have all but disappeared.

Our patriotism pulled us through some tough times and it shouldn't take another attack to galvanize us in solidarity. Our American flag is the fabric of our country and together we can prevail over terrorism of all kinds.

Action Plan: Here is what we need you to do...
(1) Forward this message to everyone you know (at least 11 people). Please don't be the one to break this chain. Take a moment to think back to how you felt on 9/11 and let those sentiments guide you.

(2) Fly an American flag of any size on 9/11. Honestly, Americans should fly the flag year-round, but if you don't, then at least make it a priority on this day.Thank you for your participation.

God Bless You and God Bless America

THANKS TO TAMMY BRUCE

Remembering 9/11

On the anniversary of the attack on our nation by Islamomaniacs, let us remember who our enemies are.

Al-Qaeda has issued a new video featuring Waleed al-Shehri, a Saudi terrorist whose job was to threaten passengers aboard Flight 11 while Mohammad Atta was flying it into the first of the Twin Towers.

"We shall come at you from your front and back, your right and left,” al-Shehri says in the tape.

“As for our own fortune, it is not in this world,” he rants.

“And we are not competing with you for this world, because it does not equal in Allah’s eyes the wing of a mosquito.”

This are the words of our crazed enemy outside the gates of freedom. Now let us review some other words.

Senator Dick Durbin accused General David Petraeus of “carefully manipulating the statistics” to convince people “that violence in Iraq is decreasing and thus the surge is working.” Majority Leader Harry Reid said Petraeus has “made a number of statements over the years that have not proven to be factual.”

Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Tom Lantos told Petraeus and Ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker, "We and the American people already know that the situation in Iraq is grim and the growing majority of this Congress and of the American people want our troops out." And he made clear nothing Petraeus could say would change his mind.

Last week House Speaker Nancy Pelosi referred to the Petraeus-Crocker report as "The Bush Report."

Those, friends, are the words of the equally dangerous and crazed enemy within the confines.

Today, as we remember the senseless murders of many of our fellow citizens, let us resolve to continue to hunt down and deliver justice to our enemies, both foreign and domestic.

The Trucks Are Coming

CNN reports a truck carrying more than 25 tons of dynamite exploded Monday in northern Mexico, killing at least 23 people and injuring more than 140, a government spokesman said.

Of the 140 injured, 30 suffered critical wounds and five were listed in extremely critical condition, said David Aguisn, spokesman for Humberto Moreira, the governor of the state of Coahuila.

Meanwhile, Mexican trucks are crossing the border freely and where they're bound is anyone's guess.

Who is checking for a license, registration, insurance? Who is making sure they understand English, American roadsigns and traffic regulations. Who is checking to make sure they are well rested and sober? Who is making sure the vehicles meet all safety and emissions standards? Has anyone done or are we even able to do back round checks on the drivers?

These are just a few of the questions that should be answered before we permit a mechanized invasion of our borders. However, it seems that our president is determined to push his Mexican agenda down the throats of American citizens.

Schumer's Shame

Senator Chuck Schumer is caught in an outright lie. See it for yourself here and a hat tip to Laura Ingraham.

The difference between what Schumer actually said and what he posted on his website is amazing. This scumbag disparages our soldiers and then is too cowardly to stand by his own words.

If Geraldo is still looking for someone in his neighborhood
to spit on, might I suggest the dishonorable Senator Schumer.

Israeli Nazis?

I'm not sure how this makes any sense at all, but then we're dealing with crazy Neo-Nazis?

In Israel, eight immigrants from the former Soviet Union have been arrested in recent days for a string of attacks on religious Jews, gays, drug addicts and foreign workers. All of the suspects are in their late teens or early 20s and have Israeli citizenship. According to police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld, they all had "parents or grandparents who were Jewish in one way or another."

I don't know what to make of this or what to say about it. What is the point of attempting to understand madness?

Movie Of The Weekend

My old movie must watch for this weekend, The Silence of the Lambs. I love the manipulative, brilliant, psychotic character played by Anthony Hopkins and the young FBI ingenue, Jodie Foster.

Good entertainment for those who are not squeamish.

Get a nice glass of merlot or perhaps a courvoisier and settle into your favorite recliner and indulge yourself. Have a great weekend.

Speed Over Need At The Border

As we close in on another anniversary of 9/11, we find out that instead of our security improving it is getting more lax. Mexican trucks are poised to travel through our nation and now we learn that security checks have been minimized to speed up traffic delays between the US and Mexico.

A memorandum from CBP El Paso field office Director Luis Garcia directs agents to limit inspections of border crossers when wait times escalate. Obvipusly, he feels no problem putting the convenience of border crossers ahead of American lives. Why are people like this allowed to keep their jobs?

The Washington Times also obtained documents tha showed customs officers in the El Paso sector have been told to "not deny permits" of entry to any person entering the United States, regardless of indicators that they've overstayed their visa in the past.

CBP Chief George Carpenter, shift commander, sent a memorandum to all border inspectors informing them never to deny I-94 forms, which allow non-immigrants extended stay in the United States, even if those people failed to turn in previous forms required by law. All the El Paso inspectors were required to sign the memorandum.

According to multiple border inspectors, the agents who denied entry to non-immigrants without proof of the appropriate crossing forms were reprimanded by supervisors.

Is this any way to run security?

Keeping Our Honor

On Wednesday night, at the GOP presidential debate, Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee made a great statement during his exchange with Texas Representative Ron Paul. He was confronting Paul on his call for immediate withdrawl from Iraq.

"Congressman, whether or not we should have gone to Iraq is a discussion for historians, but we're there. We bought it because we broke it," Huckabee said. "We've got a responsibility to the honor of this country and the honor of every man and woman who has served in Iraq and our military to not leave them with anything less than the honor they deserve."

Paul's pathetic response is one reason he cannot and will not ever be president. "The American people didn't go in. A few people advising this administration, a small number of people called the neoconservatives, hijacked our foreign policy. They are responsible, not the American people."

And Huckabee's brilliant retort came firing back, "Congressman, we are one nation. We can't be divided. We have to be one nation under God. That means if we make a mistake, we make it as a single country."

Paul answered, "When we make a mistake, it is the obligation of the people — through their representatives — to correct the mistake, not continue the mistake. We have dug a hole for ourselves and we have dug a hole for our party. We are losing elections, and we are going down next year if we don't change it."

Huckabee replied loudly, "Even if we lose elections, we should not lose our honor."

God bless you, Governor Huckabee, you certainly impressed this voter.

The left seems to feel that if the man in the White House is not one of them, he is not their president and they can disrespect and disown him. But, we are a single nation, under God, and all the empty wishes of the left will not make it otherwise. The juvenile mentality of the liberals is, if we don't play by their rules, they're taking the ball and going home. Too bad, Lefty, we all own the ball and we all live in the same home. Get over it.

Germans Hunt For More Terrorists

According to FOXNews, German authorities are searching for about 10 more suspects for plotting imminent attacks against Americans in Germany.

The three previously arrested suspects had military-style detonators and enough material to make bombs more powerful than those that killed 191 people in Madrid in 2004 and 52 commuters in London two years ago.

They had undergone training at camps in Pakistan run by the Islamic Jihad Union, and had formed a German cell of the Al Qaeda-influenced group.

Geraldo, Not Even A Touch Of Class

A man who proves that no class is required to work in TV news, Geraldo Rivera has threatened to spit on Michelle Malkin.

In an interview with The Boston Globe Rivera says he can't stomach the politicians and pundits who are stoking "anti-immigrant hysteria," and his antipathy extends to some of his colleagues at Fox.

"Michelle Malkin is the most vile, hateful commentator I've ever met in my life," he says. "She actually believes that neighbors should start snitching out neighbors, and we should be deporting people.

"It's good she's in D.C. and I'm in New York," Rivera sneers. "I'd spit on her if I saw her."

Michell Malkin is, as they used to say, one classy dame. Rivera on the other hand proves you can take the boy out of the hood, well you know the rest. The Boston Globe piece shows how Geraldo has adorned himself with all the trappings of wealth, but despite wishing otherwise he cannot overcome his low class roots.

For Fox to continue employing this guy after such a remark about a lady will only prove that they care more about their tabloid journalism than they do about the news.

It's A Two Goat Problem

Why I won't be flying Nepal airlines:

From Reuters comes word that officials at Nepal's state-run airline have sacrificed two goats to appease Akash Bhairab, the Hindu sky god, following technical problems with one of its Boeing 757 aircraft, the carrier said Tuesday.

Nepal Airlines, which has two Boeing aircraft, has had to suspend some services in recent weeks due the problem.

I wonder what they do if they encounter trouble while in the air.

Three More Terrorists Caught

Yesterday it was Denmark, today it's Germany.

Three terror suspects, two Germans and a Turk planned to carry out "imminent" and "massive" bombs attacks on Ramstein air base and Frankfurt's international airport. They had received terrorist training in Pakistan and had close ties to al Qaeda.

According to Jorg Ziercke, president of Germany's Federal Criminal Investigation Office, the group was united by a "hatred against American citizens." They also planned to attack bars and restaurants popular with Americans.

Without secure borders, it is just a matter of time before we start seeing similar scenarios in our own country. Europe may be somewhat more vulnerable, but it is inevitable that we will see the ugly face of Islamic terrorism here in the US.

More at CNN.

Only In America

Today, I went to ADOT (Arizona Department of Tourette's) , actually it is the department of Transportation, but I call it Tourette's because you will be swearing uncontrollably by the time you're done. No, not just swearing, but hollering out random expletives of carnal and scatological origin that could only originate in the bowels of hell.

I was trying to switch the title over from a car I bought for my daughter from a friend at work.

Illegals can get driver's licences, they can register to vote, hell, dead illegals can register to vote if they are Democrats in Cook County, Illinois. But, me , I'm only second generation American, likely to be doing God knows what with this automobile title.

Danish Police Foil Islamomaniacs Again

Eight suspects of Afghan, Pakistani, Somali and Turkish origin, have been arrested by the Danish government for plotting a terror act involving explosives. Six were Danish citizens and two were foreign nationals with Danish residency permits. According to Danish intelligence, they are linked to Al-Qaeda.

This is
the third time Danish police have cracked down on suspected terrorist networks since 2005.

Stifle Yourself, Calderon

Why is nothing said to the Mexican government about their unrelenting attempts to interfere in the internal affairs of our nation?

Reuters reports that Mexican President Felipe Calderon has accused the United States of stepping up persecution and abuse or Mexican illegal aliens. Persecution? Abuse? Enforcing our Immigration Laws constitutes persecution and abuse?

"I want to express again an energetic protest at the unilateral measures taken by the U.S. Congress and government which exacerbate the persecution and abusive treatment of undocumented Mexican workers," Calderon said in his state of the union speech. "The Mexican government will continue to insist firmly ... on the need for an integral immigration reform and the categorical rejection of the building of a wall on our common border," Calderon said to raucous applause.

If the Mexican government is truly concerned about persecution and abuse, they would do something about it in their own country which might alter the need for their poor to flee in uncontrolled droves. As for insisting on immigration reform within the United States and rejection of a border security wall, quite frankly none of that is the business of Mexico and the American people would prefer that you stifle yourself, Senor Calderon.

Clinton's Judge Chesney Needs Breathing Room

U.S. District Judge Maxine Chesney has taken it upon herself to prevent the mailing of the "no-match" letters which contain notification of serious penalties for knowingly hiring illegal aliens. This should come as no more a shock than the fact that one of the shysters from the ACLU is involved.

Judge Chesney is a native Californian, born in San Francisco, a graduate of Berkeley and was appointed by Slick Willie in 1995. She claims she needs "breathing room" before making a decision on the legality of the new penalties and has set the next hearing for October first. You can rest assured this is to buy her time so she can get with her liberal pals to plan an end run around the law.

For more than two decades, the Social Security Administration has sent out "no-match" letters warning employers of discrepancies in the information the government has on their workers. The only thing different this time is that those letters will be accompanied by notices from the Department of Homeland Security outlining strict new requirements for employers to resolve those discrepancies within 90 days or face fines or criminal prosecution, if they're deemed to have knowingly hired illegal aliens. What liberal legalese are the open borders crowd going to invent to kill the spirit of the law once again.

Once more the Justice system is undermining the nation by trying to impose its agenda over the will of the American people. If you like, let Maxine know your opinion.

Another Iranian Attack Plan

Here's another one of those reports, this time from the Times of London, that we have drawn up our plans to take out Iran. In this scenario, the Pentagon plans for massive air strikes against 1,200 targets in Iran, designed to annihilate the Iranians’ military capability in three days.

Alexis Debat, director of terrorism and national security at the Nixon Center, said last week that US military planners were not preparing for “pinprick strikes” against Iran’s nuclear facilities. “They’re about taking out the entire Iranian military,” he said.

Debat was speaking at a meeting organised by The National Interest, a conservative foreign policy journal. He told The Sunday Times that the US military had concluded: “Whether you go for pinprick strikes or all-out military action, the reaction from the Iranians will be the same.” It was, he added, a “very legitimate strategic calculus”.

Israel, which has warned it will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons, has made its own preparations for air strikes and is said to be ready to attack if the Americans back down. If the Americans don't back down, Israel will be drawn in when Iran lashes out with its limited capability. There seems to be no escape from some kind of ugly confrontation with captain annihilation, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Movie Of The Week

I have an extensive library of movies, probably just short of 900. I give recommendations to a small percentage of those and this week I would like to single one out. If you have never seen The Untouchables, I strongly suggest you find a remote location and make some popcorn, put up your feet and relax with this gem.

Sex Sensitive Sidewalks For The Saudis

The Mutaween, the religious police tasked wjth enforcing Sharia in Saudi Arabia, are now insisting that separate sidewalks be installed in Medina so men and women will not mix on the street. After all, Medina is the burial place of Mohammed and we can't have the prophet spinning in his grave because the sexes are in close proximity.

You have to love these guys, there almost isn't a need to ridicule them when they do such a great job of making asses of themselves. Then they wonder why their bufoonery inspire cartoonists to mock them.

Romney Would Retaliate

These are the words America's enemies need to hear. Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney says that if terrorists detonated a nuclear bomb in a U.S. city while he was president he would retaliate "in a very dramatic and clear way."

Posed that scenario while campaigning Friday in this early primary state, Romney said he didn't want to say much more.

"The answer is you would retaliate and you'd retaliate in a very dramatic and clear way. I don't want to be terribly more specific than that," the former Massachusetts governor said.

"But there's no question that people understand that the reason that we have the thousands upon thousands of nuclear warheads we have is that we intend to protect ourselves. And I would never shrink from protecting the American nation, the American people, nor shrink from retaliation if somebody used something as awful as a nuclear device. We will be safe."

The key is preventing nuclear proliferation, Romney said. He cited Iran, which has been accused of seeking to develop nuclear weapons, a charge its leaders have denied while claiming it's interested only in a nuclear energy program.

"It's time for us to dramatically tighten the sanctions on Iran and to get our friends around the world to do the same," Romney said. People in Iran need to know that "going down the nuclear path is a source of peril, not a source of pride," he said.

This sounds like a president of the United States, not the craven liberal musings of Obama and his "I think it would be a profound mistake for us to use nuclear weapons in any circumstance."
