No Reason For Concern?

An FBI and Homeland Security Department advisory to local law enforcement speaks about "recent suspicious activity" by foreigners who either drive school buses or are licensed to drive them. The foreigners, "some with ties to extremist groups" have been able to "purchase buses and acquire licenses," the bulletin stated.

Asked about the alert notice, the FBI's Rich Kolko said "there are no threats, no plots and no history leading us to believe there is any reason for concern."

What? Why would foreigners with "ties to extremist groups" be buying school buses? Are they using them to take the terrorist cell on field trips? Why isn't this a cause for concern or will it only become one after a busload of children are kidnapped or worse?

Remember how easily three men pulled off the Chowchilla school bus kidnapping in 1976? Why should we not be concerned about foreign extremists with school buses or even just CDLs? Why are we more worried about foreigners' sensitivities than American security? How long will we allow the inept egomaniacs in Washington to continue to endanger us all?

Hat tip USA Today.
