Save Your Dixie Cups

A Confederate battle flag may soon be flying near a Tampa highway intersection. And it's a big one!

A Confederate heritage group called the Sons of Confederate Veterans plans to fly the 30-by-50 flag atop a 139-foot pole.

Let's watch and note who the people are that will try to censor this expression of free speech.

ObamaNation Theology

Nothing has changed at the church of ObamaNation. This time we have a crazy white Catholic priest, Michael Pfleger, ranting and raving from the pulpit. Here's what he had to say about Hillary Clinton:

“When Hillary was crying … I really don’t believe it was put on. I really believe that she just always thought ‘This is mine. I’m Bill’s wife. I’m white. And this is mine’,” he said, shouting at times. “Then out of nowhere came, ‘Hey I’m Barack Obama’. And she said, ‘Oh damn! Where did you come from? I’m white! I’m entitled! There’s a black man stealing my show’!”

After that, he simulated Clinton crying and then said: "She wasn’t the only one crying. There was a whole lot of white people crying." He also said at one point, “America has been raping people of color and America has to pay the price for the rape. "

Where do they find these nuts? Of course, once again, Obama tried to distance himself from his own church and the congregation that just eats this slop up. He even got a quick apology from the freaky father. “I regret the words I chose on Sunday. These words are inconsistent with Senator Obama’s life and message, and I am deeply sorry if they offended Senator Clinton or anyone else who saw them,” Pfleger said. Yeah, right padre. Someone introduce the reverend to the Book of James. Does the Cardinal know what this jerk is up to?

Check out Michelle Malkin.

Is It The Altitude?

FOXNews has a report on a man who wants Denver voters to set up a commission to prepare for visits from space aliens. He is going to release a videotape on Friday that convinced him there is life on other planets. He claims his film shows 4-foot-tall gray aliens.

"You could see them blink as they looked in a window and panned a room,"he said.

The man, Jeff Peckman, makes his living selling a new technology he says reduces "the chaos of electromagnetic fields."

What we need is a new technology reducing the occurrence of craziness. As Stephen Hawking said,
“we don’t appear to have been visited by aliens. I’m discounting reports of UFOs. Why would they appear only to cranks and weirdos?"

Keep Kerry In Massachusetts

John Kerry as Secretary of State? That's what some people think could happen if Obama is elected.

Perhaps the protege of Dukakis has finally accepted the fact he will not be president, but intends to inflict himself on us where he can still do some damage. He has already sucked up to Barack just in case.

The election of Obama would bring us all sorts of vile people in positions of authority and influence.

He Sees Dead People

Obama, speaking on Memorial day, said, "On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today — our sense of patriotism is particularly strong."

He is probably visualizing the dead who rise on election day, as many have in Illinois, to cast votes for the Democrats. The dead, the foreigners and those who vote early and often are a dependable mainstay of the Democrat party. That's the real reason they don't want voters to present identification.

A hat tip to Michelle Malkin.

UPDATE: It seems the Memorial Day manure that Barack was spreading also included an uncle who participated in the liberation of
Auschwitz. Unfortunately for Barack, Auschwitz was happened upon by the Russian Army as they were marching by. To say they liberated the prisoners is a bit of a stretch, but certainly it was not Obama's uncle and the Americans who did it. The man will use or say anything to promote himself. And how is it if there's no guilt by association that he seems to think there's glory by association?

A hat tip to Ace of Spades HQ.

He's Talking And He Won't Shut Up

The Herald Tribune reports that Jimmy Carter has said Israel holds at least 150 nuclear weapons, the first time a U.S. president has publicly acknowledged the Jewish state's atomic arsenal. Why does he feel obliged to reveal a piece of information, that although widely assumed, has never been admitted by the Israelis or the U.S. ?

What other pieces of information has Jimmy divulged in his private conversations with almost every known enemy of our nation?

The man tries never to miss an opportunity to harm or denigrate his own country. Always a liability whether in or out of office, if nothing else the old fool is consistent.

In Honor Of Memorial Day

In remembrance of those men and women who gave their lives so Americans like me could have the freedom to read and say and write what we choose.

They fought to defend the rights of all including George Bush, Harry Reid, Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Barack Obama, Jeremiah Wright, John Hagee, Michael Moore, Rush Limbaugh, Louis Farrakhan, David Duke, Bill O'Reilly, Rosie O'Donnell,
Arianna Huffington, Michelle Malkin etc. etc. etc.

Those who would deny these rights that have been bought at such a high price fail to realize that our freedom is our strength.

May God continue to bless America

"Think for yourselves and let others enjoy the privilege to do so too.'' Voltaire

The Music Is Getting Faster

Barack Obama is dancing again.

Defending himself regarding his association with Rashid Khalidi, PLO activist and Israel hater, who once held a fundraiser in his home for Obama, Barack said: "To pluck out one person who I know and who I've had a conversation with who has very different views than 900 of my friends and then to suggest that somehow that shows that maybe I'm not sufficiently pro-Israel, I think, is a very problematic stand to take," he said. "So we gotta be careful about guilt by association."

But, the truth is this is not a casual acquaintance and one can pluck out several associates of Obama that are also problems.

Tony Rezko, involved in bribery and other corruption, played a significant role in raising funds for his political campaigns and helped Obama and his wife get the home of their dreams.

Allison S. Davis, whose law firm (Davis Miner Barnhill & Galland) in 1993 hired Obama. This same law firm represented Tony Rezko's operations over the years, while Rezko raised cash for Obama's electoral campaigns. Davis became Rezko's personal financial partner in slum-redevelopment deals, which were then backed by a State Senator, Barack Obama.

William Ayers, a terrorist, hosted a fundraiser for Barack Obama and actively worked to secure Barack's first electoral victory in Illinois.

Jeremiah Wright, pastor of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ and Obama's spiritual leader for 20 years , blames America for starting the AIDS virus.

James Meeks, a pledged delegate to Obama and a member of the Illinois state senate once said, "We don't have slave masters, we got mayors. But they are still the same white people who are presiding over systems where black people are not able to be educated." He said this while preaching as a Baptist minister.

Every time Barack is confronted with one of these he does his little dance of guilt by association or selective snippets. But, the evidence keeps piling up that birds of a feather fly together.

More ObamaNation

The candidate who claims to be a unifying force and the voice of hope failed again to rise above the pettiness of politics. He accused Hillary of stoking anger in Florida and Michigan over the decision not to recognize the states' primary votes.

"They weren't stirring it up when they didn't need the delegates," he said. "Let's not sort of pretend that we don't know what's going on. This is, from their perspective, their last slender hope to make arguments about how they can win." Were Obama in Hillary's position he would more than likely be doing the same thing.

Then, he went after John McCain's suggestion that Obama's lack of military service makes him unqualified to criticize him on veterans issues.

"I will cede to no one the ability to talk about veterans issues," Obama said. "My grandfather was a veteran. Those veterans benefits helped my grandparents to raise my mother. I have veterans throughout the state of Illinois that I've been fighting for since I came into the United States Senate."

Notice how conveniently Barack waltzes out his white relatives when they are of use to him. Grandma was a racist, but Grandpa was a veteran. Give me a break.

Obama Telling More Tall Tales

For a guy who promises no dirty campaigning, Obama is certainly telling an awful lot of lies and now doing it to try and make others look bad. He recently lied about hate crimes against Hispanics doubling and then blamed Lou Dobbs and Rush Limbaugh for it. The man is either stupid, evil or both.

Check out this CNN transcript with Kitty Pilgrim (CNN), Bill Tucker (CNN) and Jack Martin (The Federation for American Immigration Reform).

PILGRIM: Thanks, Casey. We look forward to your report.

Also Senator Obama launches an astonishing and inaccurate attack on Lou and this broadcast.

And President Bush refuses to change his failed policies on so- called free trade. We'll have a special report, war on the middle class.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

PILGRIM: Senator Barack Obama last night told a Florida crowd that Lou contributed to a rise in hate crimes in this country. This is not the first time Senator Obama has attacked Lou and this broadcast and it's not the first time the senator has been wrong on the facts. Bill Tucker reports.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

BILL TUCKER, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Lou Dobbs is clearly on Senator Obama's radar from before the presidential primaries...

OBAMA: We're not going to solve the problem if we're just shouting about it like Lou Dobbs and folks on television.

TUCKER: On the campaign trail in the middle of the primaries.

OBAMA: And so when I hear Rush Limbaugh or you know Lou Dobbs or some of these people talking about how we need to send them all back. We're not going to send them all back. First of all, this is a country of immigrants.

TUCKER: And as the primary season comes to a close at a fundraiser closed to cameras in Florida Thursday night the senator again took aim at Lou, saying quote, "There's a reason why hate crimes against Hispanic people doubled last year. If you have people like Lou Dobbs and Rush Limbaugh ginning things up, it's not surprising that would happen." The senator's campaign staff could not tell us where he got his stats. But they're wrong, according to the FBI, hate crimes against Hispanics rose at a much slower rate than other groups and they certainly didn't double in 2006. Reported hate crimes against physically or mentally disabled individuals rose 49 percent.

Hate crimes against Muslims and gays increased 22 percent. Hate crimes against Jews rose 14 percent. Reported hate crimes against Hispanics rose 10 percent. In sheer number there were 576 hate crimes reported against Hispanics in 2006; 522 in 2005. Given the estimated increase in the Hispanic population through legal and illegal immigration, the Federation of Americans for Immigration Reform, which advocates for reduction in all immigration, argues the numbers show a very different picture over time.

JACK MARTIN, FDN. FOR AMER. IMMIGRATION REFORM: If you look the data from 1995 up to 2006, the trend in the number of hate crimes per 100,000 Latinos is actually down.

TUCKER: The largest number of reported hate crime offenses in 2006, based on just the numbers is anti-Black crime, at 2,640.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

TUCKER: As for speaking hate, Lou has been very clear on this topic repeatedly. He has the utmost respect for the vast majority of illegal immigrants whom he calls hard working, good people. That fact, however, doesn't make unlawful entry into the country and illegal employment legal. Illegal immigration and legal immigration, Kitty, are two distinct separate issues.

PILGRIM: Well any viewer of this broadcast would know that we do make the distinction between legal and illegal immigration and we make it very, very clearly.

Thanks very much, Bill Tucker.

There you have it, Obama made up this stuff in Florida trying to pander to the Hispanic vote. If he's elected, America will become an Obamanation.

Comrade Maxine

Maxine Waters, the infamous Democrat representative from California let slip her socialist beliefs. We all knew about them, but now she has confirmed what we always thought. During the interview of oil executives by a House panel this week, Comrade Waters threatened to nationalize the industry if it didn't do something about the rising prices at the pump.

The president of Shell Oil, John Hofmeister, said "I can guarantee to the American people, because of the inaction of the United States Congress, ever-increasing prices unless the demand comes down."

Waters reply? "And guess what this liberal would be all about. This liberal will be about socializing … uh, um. …Would be about, basically, taking over, and the government running all of your companies. …"

Sure, because the government does such a good job with everything else. We wouldn't have this energy problem if the government allowed drilling for oil, building refineries and constructing nuclear power plants. No, their off in liberal la la land with visions of windmills and solar panels dancing in their otherwise empty heads.

What do you expect from Waters who condoned the LA rioting by her supporters? I'm adding her to the list of VP candidates for the Obamanable Snowman.

UNnecessary

The UN is, once again, showing how totally useless it is. According to an article in the World Tribune, The United Nations peace-keeping force in Lebanon has maintained a quieter-than-usual presence since the Hizbullah takeover.

Lebanese sources said UNIFIL has increased its coordination with the Iranian-sponsored Hizbullah in the south of the country. The sources said UNIFIL commanders have stopped patrols near Shi'ite villages and have coordinated checkpoints with local agents of Hizbullah or army officers regarded as close to the militia.

"UNIFIL used to coordinate with the Lebanese Army, but now that is only for show," a Lebanese security source said.

"UNIFIL keeps Hizbullah informed of its movements at practically all times. There is no stomach for any misunderstanding that could lead to a confrontation."

In March 2008, UNIFIL, with a force of 13,500, sought to seize a truckload of Hizbullah weapons south of the Litani River. A Hizbullah squad confronted the UNIFIL soldiers and the truck was allowed through the checkpoint toward the Israeli border.

I love this quote. "I will tell you what UNIFIL troops in southern Lebanon are," Shi'ite cleric Ali Al Amin, an opponent of Hizbullah who fled his home from Tyre in May, said. "They are tourists, simple, faint-hearted and ignorant tourists."

In a May 17 interview with the Italian daily Corriere della Sera, Al Amin said Hizbullah has intimidated UNIFIL and the Lebanese Army. He said UNIFIL has ignored Hizbullah activity conducted outside peace-keeping bases.

"Everyone knows that the national army is too weak to take Hizbullah on, and UNIFIL forces pretend not to see anything," Al Amin said. "Hizbullah has built its own cable telephone system and is getting re-armed right outside their [UNIFIL] bases. Can they really do nothing to stop it. Can't they report it?"

What is the point of a UN peacekeeping force if they keep the peace by avoiding confrontation. Everything about the UN is seedy and disgusting. It is completely and utterly without redeeming value and we should extricate ourselves from it ASAP.

Middle East Peace

Once again, Arabs have shown how strong their desire is to live in peace with the Jews. This time they did so by burning Jewish-owned wheat fields in the Samaria town of Yitzhar on Friday. When a volunteer fire brigade made up of Yitzhar residents succeeded in extinguishing the fire, they were attacked by rioting Arabs who threw stones at them.

A contingent of IDF soldiers arrived on the scene and used non-lethal riot-control methods to restore order. Although incidents of Arab vandalism happen with some frequency, residents say their complaints usually result in no response whatsoever from security forces.

So Many Choices

We have a fair idea who John McCain may be considering for VP, but who will Obama choose?

Some names being mentioned are: Hillary Clinton, Bill Richardson and Sam Nunn. It is a rather large pool, but here are some names no one has mentioned.

Cynthia McKinney, she seems to embody the sentiments of many of Barack's closest associates. She has been credited with telling Jet Magazine that the "white, rich Democratic boys club wanted [her] to stay in the back of the bus." Well here's her chance to ride shotgun for the driver.

Robert Byrd, the reformed Klansman can keep the Obama presidency flush with lots of crazy ideas and emotional outbursts. Barack can play down his remarks by referring to them as snippets, a tactic he has used successfully to defend his wife and pastor. The entertainment factor alone makes Byrd a strong contender.

James McGreevey, the gay former governor of New Jersey. He will carry the homosexual vote and needs the job so he can pay child support to his former wives. His character and total lack of integrity should dovetail perfectly with the liberal mindset of the Democrat Party.

UPDATE: Eliot Spitzer is added at Delle's suggestion. As she put it, so eloquently, he can bring in the prostitute vote and he has a heck of a lot of money. And, I might add, his character, hypocrisy and total lack of integrity make him a Democrat poster boy.

UPDATE: Maxine Waters is added because she will help make the oil industry as efficient and cost effective as Social Security. In addition, if you need something you need only to riot and take it from others because she understands. After all this liberal wants to socialize everything. A fine candidate for the ObamaNation.

There are others and if I have time later I shall add to the list. Feel free to suggest some and I may even poll to see who the most popular pick is.

Oyez, Oyez, Oy Vey

The Washington Times reports that conservatives and activists are indicating they will put aside their differences with Republican presidential nominee John McCain and rally their supporters to his side because of one issue, federal judgeships.

The Washington Post has a column suggesting an Obama promise to nominate Clinton to the Supreme Court would more than go a long way toward forging the unity Democrats want and need for November.

Reason enough right there to vote for McCain. Picture it, Washington DC 2010, Hillary all in black robes, maniacal cackling emanating from the justices' chambers. It is enough to evoke terror in any moral human. This must not happen, therefore, McCain it must be.

Memorial Day VP BBQ?

So, McCain is inviting some folks to a Memorial Day gathering at his home in Sedona, Arizona. Are these potential VP candidates? Most likely because they include Florida Governor Charlie Crist, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.

Now, let's hope Crist isn't the choice because it only makes this "hold your nose and vote for McCain" thing even more difficult. Crist is a RINO and has supported efforts to curb climate change, and was praised by Slick Willie for his efforts to restore voting rights of felons who have completed their sentences. Some of Clinton's relatives probably fall into that slime bucket.

That gives us Jindal and Romney and I think I could live with either one, although I'd like to know a little more about Jindal.

None Are Fit

This from the GOP candidate for president. "I have described Ted Kennedy as the last lion in the Senate," a tearful McCain said on his campaign bus in Florida. "And I have held that view because he remains the single most effective member of the Senate."

What could be more sad for this nation and what a terrible indictment of the rest of the Senate. If Ted Kennedy is the best they have to offer, all the more reason why no one from the Senate is fit to go to the White House.

Big Moon Of Kentucky For Barack

Hillary scores another landslide victory, with 90 percent of Kentucky's precincts reporting, she was leading by 35 percentage points. More importantly for those of us who wish not to see the Obamanable Snowjob in the White House, Forty-one percent of Clinton supporters said they'd cast their vote for John McCain and 23 percent said they would not vote at all if Hillary is not a candidate.

Those numbers are even worse for Obama than in West Virginia one week ago, where 36 percent of Clinton voters said they would back him in the fall. Things could be getting interesting.

Just a side note, the non-racist African-American vote broke for Obama, 87-7 percent. What were the odds?

Something Violent This Way Comes

FOXNews reports drug cartels are sending a message to police and soldiers in cities across Mexico, join us or die. The threat appears in recruiting banners hung across roadsides and in publicly posted death lists. Cops get warnings over their two-way radios. At least four high-ranking police officials were gunned down this month. 22 commanders in the border city of Ciudad Juarez were named on a handwritten death list left at a monument to fallen police this year. It was addressed to "those who still don't believe" in the power of the cartels. Of the 22, seven have been killed and three wounded in assassination attempts. Of the others, all but one have quit.

Things are serious south of the border with some now speculating about the possibility of civil war between a federation of drug cartels and the Mexican army.

If there were ever a time to secure the border it is now. However the lethargic legislators we allow to rule us will wait until some catastrophe happens. Then will come the finger pointing, the name calling and the tired rhetoric. Hopefully, this time we will hang them all which is what they deserve.

Praising Prince Caspian

A well done to Disney on "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian." My daughter and I went to see it yesterday and we both enjoyed it.

The report is that it dethroned "Iron Man" as ruler at the box office, pulling down $56.6 million, according to studio estimates Sunday.

If you've seen the first one, grab the family and go take this one in. You won't be disappointed.

Up To No Good, As Usual

Two of California's biggest illegal lovers are up to no good. Dianne Feinstein and Zoe Lofgren are busy doing runarounds to bring in foreign workers.

Feinstein has attached a farm guest-worker program to the giant Iraq spending bill giving temporary legal status to 1.3 million farmworkers over the next five years. There are complaints that an existing guest worker program called H2A is cumbersome and ineffective. Supposedly, Feinstein's bill would streamline that program's rules. Streamline means watered down enforcement and no security. You know something like this will be abused and there will be no enforcement of any rules. Until we enforce the immigration laws currently on the books, not one new bill should even be considered.

Now, comes the one from the former immigration lawyer,
Zoe Lofgren. She has introduced five immigration bills, among them one that would allow master's and doctoral graduates from U.S. universities to apply immediately for permanent residence. This may not sound so bad, but if there are jobs waiting for these foreigners to fall into, why are we not educating Americans to fill these positions. Let's educate our own first by whatever means necessary. The firms that would employ these people should scholarship American kids who have the potential, but perhaps not the means to get these degrees.

The Wolf Cometh

Barack Obama is circulating a flyer in Kentucky that features the cross. What will the left have to say about this? Oh, that's right Barack is half black so it's ok. Everything he does is ok and if we don't vote for him it's because we're racist.

The flyer is titled: Faith. Hope. Change. It talks about how Obama accepted Jesus Christ into his life. The best part is it has a quote from Obama, "my faith teaches me that I can sit in church and pray all I want, but I won't be fulfilling God's will unless I go out and do the Lord's work." Which reminded me,“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.” Mathew 7:15

How convenient that Obama will use the name of the Lord to further his cause. I wonder if the Lord's work includes voting for laws to kill new life by abortion? There's a question you won't hear from the media.

Matthew 7:21-29

21 "Not every one who says to me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, `Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' 23 And then will I declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers.' "

Real Wienership For America

Barack Obama has given warning! If elected president, he is threatening our enemies with "tough diplomacy." He will give a stern talking to the leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela and North Korea. This, he said, will be done "without preconditions, although with preparation, and I will present to them very clearly what my expectations would be in terms of them changing their behavior."

They're probably already trembling in anticipation of this dreaded dress down by the bad Barack.

Is this clown for real? Is anyone, including him, listening to what he is actually saying? If this is our next president there is no imagining how bad things are really going to get.

Peggy's Pity Party

If you want to get an idea how bad things are going to be for the GOP in November, go here and read Peggy Noonan's Pity Party column in the Wall Street Journal.

She says the Republicans are "busy dying." I disagree. I think they're already dead and we're just beginning to smell the aroma.

The GOP has no candidates, no platform, no plan and no clue. Their karma has run over their dogma. Goodnight John boy!

The Bill Clinton Lack Of Character Award Goes To

I have written before about former New Jersey Governor James McGreevey. You remember him, he announced he was gay and resigned from office only when he was about to be outed anyway.

Now, he is trying
to convince the judge in his divorce case that he's too poor to pay alimony. He claims he's been financially crippled by his resignation and marital troubles. Let's see, who is at fault for his marital troubles and having to resign from office? Why it's the gay guv himself. But, in the world of McGreevy he's never at fault.

Don't forget this was the same guy who came out in support of same sex marriage by saying, it " would offer the ability to bless our relationship in a committed way." Does McGreevey understand anything about commitment? No!

While his divorce was still not finalized, he was living with his lover Mark O'Donnell. Even when his marriage was intact, it didn't prevent him from having affairs. Although he claimed to be a devout Roman Catholic, he remarried without an annulment from his first marriage, is pro abortion and continues to carry on gay affairs. He was accused by his homeland security adviser of sexual harassment and of offering money to make the pending lawsuit go away. He openly admits he has not paid his first ex-wife any child support this year even though he earned $429,000 in 2006 and $185,000 last year. Yes folks, this gay scumbucket was married twice and has a child by each wife. What a guy!

So much for his commitment to his spouse, his faith and his office. McGreevy is committed to McGreevey and nothing else. Yet, Kean University in Union, New Jersey offered him a job teaching law, ethics and leadership and now he is an Episcopal seminary student. Why you would open these doors to a man who has not an iota of integrity is enough to fill many more posts than this.

The courts should make this piece of human debris at least accept reponsibility for the financial welfare of his children. He has nothing else to offer.

West Virginia, Obama's Waterloo?

Hillary has buried Obama in West Virginia. If nothing else this highlights Barack's weakness with certain segments of America. Only 25 percent of Clinton backers say they'd be satisfied if Barack Obama was the nominee and only 38 percent of Clinton's voters said they would vote for Obama in a general election matchup against John McCain.

In West Virginia, Clinton won among men and women. She carried a majority of voters in every age group. She captured liberals, moderates, and conservatives. She took a majority in every income bracket. This should may bells and whistles go off among the super delegates. However, politicians on both sides are notorious for hearing only what supports their agenda (read bs).

Obama will probably get the nomination, but it may well cost the Democrats the election.

McVeep?

In the last three days, I have heard three names mentioned as good possibilities for John McCain's VP slot. First it was Mitt Romney and now it's Condoleezza Rice or Mike Huckabee.

I prefer Romney or Rice. Huckabee would make the ticket less palatable as far as I'm concerned.

Anyway, for what it's worth WND is reporting that a Palestinian official said, "We were told by U.S. politicians there is a good possibility we may still be dealing with Rice in the future, but this time as vice president."

Meanwhile, U.S. News and World Report quoted a top McCain fundraiser stating former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee tops McCain's vice presidential list.

The way things usually work, the choice will probably be some young governor unfamiliar to most people.

Hugo Revives His Clown Act

If it isn't monkey boy Mahmoud Ahmadinejad or ding dong Jong-Il then its Hugo the Marx brother Chavez. This time he's ranting that Germany's chancellor, Angela Merkel, shares the political ideals of Adolf Hitler.

Hugo criticized Merkel for belonging to the conservative Christian Democratic Union, calling the movement "the same right wing that supported Hitler and fascism."

He was on the verge of launching more insults at Merkel, but suddenly stopped short.

"Ms. Chancellor, you can go to ..." he said during his weekly television and radio program, before pausing. Then he added: "Because you are a lady, I won't say any more."

As if Hugo would know a lady or a gentleman if he fell over one. Hugo just can't shake his roots as an uncouth lower class thug. He reminds me of a Khrushchev with less refinement.

Barack Loses Bearings.

Please visit my friend, Trek Medic, over at "Is This Life?" and check out this clip of Obama adding states to our union. This guy has the nerve to suggest that McCain has lost his bearings?

Perhaps Barack should become better acquainted with the land he claims to love so much.

America Fails To Support Freedom Of The Press

The American press is being rightly criticized by the Danish newspaper editor who published the cartoons of Mohammed. He accuses them of undermining free speech by failing to republish the cartoons when the issue prompted riots in Muslim countries two years ago.

Flemming Rose said, "Europe has usually been criticized for being politically correct and on the defense when it comes to Islam, but more European newspapers published the cartoons,” he said. “We might not have had the kind of ongoing crisis if more newspapers around the world would have published the cartoons at the same time because by doing so you would have drawn a clear line. ... Instead, it was pretty unclear what people in liberal democracies thought of this issue.”

Where is John Peter Zenger when you need him?

Meanwhile, before he spoke, a handful of ignorant Muslim students protested. One carried a sign saying, “Hate Speech Cannot Be Free Speech.” Of course, they would like to be the ones to decide what is hate speech and what is not. Idiots!

Business As Usual

Steve McCraw, who works as the State Director for the Department of Homeland Security, says that "Al-Qaida has discussed, has considered, is still considering leveraging the southwest border of the U.S. as an entry point for operatives."

In the last two years, 497 illegal aliens of concern were arrested crossing the Texas-Mexico border. They were from special interest countries such as Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Jordan.

McCraw tells us, "Those countries are defined and listed by the State Department, and they have an international terrorism nexus that could be Al Qaida, could be Hamas, Hezbollah or violent terrorism organizations."

He adds those violent militant groups could be teaming up with the dangerous drug cartels and numerous human smuggling organizations.

"What they're going to try to use is those crime organizations to facilitate the movement of themselves or commodities to cross the border into the U.S. undetected," explains the state director.

Meanwhile, gunmen assassinated a commander of Mexico City's anti-kidnapping police Friday, the fourth top police authority slain in 10 days here as the toll from a rising organized crime wave hits top brass. This is only one day after acting federal police chief Edgar Millan was brutally murdered.

However, not one of our candidates for the presidency seems terribly concerned about what is going on in the run down house next door. It's just business as usual for these politicians. God help us.

Define Wonderful

Obama has had to move from defending Jeremiah Wright to distancing himself from Jeremiah Wright. First he accused everyone of listening only to snippets of sermons, but then his spiritual advisor erased all doubts by his outrageous behavior before the National Press Club.

Still, Obama proclaims his loyalty to the United Church of Christ in Chicago. It seems not to matter that the new senior pastor Otis Moss is merely another tired old version of Jeremiah Wright. It also seems not to matter that the church itself sees fit to put in its bulletin messages like these.

In the April 15, 2007 church bulletin Reginald Williams, the associate pastor for social justice at Trinity United, said he was not surprised by the racially charged remarks that talk-radio host Don Imus made about the Rutgers University women's basketball team because "the major networks are run by right-winged conservatives who still see black people as subhuman and portray black people as such."

In the April 22, 2007 church bulletin Williams also called for shutting down the Pentagon's WHINSEC School of the Americas, saying the school "in no uncertain terms trains Latin American soldiers in counterinsurgency, sniper training, commando and psychological warfare, military intelligence and interrogation. In short, the United States Army trains students at this school of terrorism."

Yet on Sunday, May 4, Obama told NBC's Tim Russert, on "Meet the Press," that he was still a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and said of the Wright controversy, "I think that the American people understand that when I joined Trinity United Church of Christ, I was committing not to Pastor Wright. I was committing to a church and I was committing to Christ. And it is a wonderful church."

How long before Barack will have to deny knowing what was going on at his church?

Rush Wants Barack

Rush Limbaugh said Wednesday it's Barack Obama who he really wants to be the party's nominee.

"I now believe he would be the weakest of the Democrat nominees," Limbaugh said on his program. "I now urge the Democrat delegates to make your mind up and publicly go for Obama."

"Barack Obama has shown he cannot get the votes Democrats need to win – blue-collar, working class people," Limbaugh also said। "He can get effete snobs, he can get wealthy academics, he can get the young, and he can get the black vote, but Democrats do not win with that."

Here's a hilarious side note, John Kerry credited Clinton's win in Indiana entirely to Limbaugh. Kerry is so desperate to be back in the limelight, he will say or do anything to get attention. What a buffoon.

GOP Suicidal

Republican leadership, and I use that term loosely, just refuses to listen. In a piece published in Human Events, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, warned that they face “real disaster” on Election Day unless they move immediately to “chart a bold course of real reform” for the country. And in a closed-door session at the Capitol, National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Tom Cole told members that the NRCC doesn’t have enough cash to “save them” in November if they don’t raise enough money or run strong campaigns themselves.

They don't have enough cash because people like me are not going to keep putting money in the vending machine and get nothing in return. When you offer candidates like John McCain who leaves us losing no matter how we vote, why would we give you money?

But, as usual the GOP won't listen. One top House Republican dismissed Gingrich’s broadside as “hype from a has-been who desperately wants to be a player but can’t anymore.” That's the kind of attitude that is helping to flush the Republican party down the political toilet. Just like McCain's stubbornness regarding illegals and his support for amnesty came with a sneering disdain for the average American citizen, so too the rest of the leadership seems to be hell bent on political suicide.

So, in November it looks like we will be faced with choosing between two elitists, neither of whom wants to serve the American people, but rather tell us what's good for us.

Will Today Decide It?

It's Tuesday and what could be the final round of the Clinton Obama slap fest may be at hand. Primary results in Indiana and North Carolina could change or end this race.

Hillary needs to win and win big. A win by Obama could close the deal for him. Any predictions?

Either way, it will be most interesting to see what happens.

Border Patrol Acts As Free Taxi Service

Here's an interesting little service the American taxpayer is providing according to Newsmax.

Josefa Gonzalez Loya has sneaked across the Mexican border at least 128 times in the past eight years. And each time, the Border Patrol has been nice enough to give her a lift home.

Gonzalez and a group of other women and children _ all Indians from the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca _ have no interest in staying in the United States. All they want to do is panhandle outside El Paso businesses, using the children as lures.

At the end of a productive day, they wait for the Border Patrol to come pick them up and drive them back to the border.

Gonzalez has been arrested 128 times. Despite a crackdown on illegal immigration along much of the border, she and most of her tribal members have never been jailed.

Isn't it nice of the US taxpayer to provide this taxi service?

The Wright Sharpton Legacy

At a Brooklyn, New York elementary school gang graffiti is showing up on the playground, in classrooms and on teachers' cars. The words "Jump White People" and "JWP" have appeared at the school more than a dozen times in the last three weeks.

"It just quietly gets erased," one teacher said. "Nothing gets done."

Four students ranging in age from 8 to 11 were disciplined. Where do these children get such ideas?

This kind of behavior is abetted by the hate filled rhetoric of the Al Sharptons and the Jeremiah Wrights.

Why then did Barack Obama expose his children to the messages of bitterness, anger and revenge espoused by such a man?

Barack's Fallen Away Catholic Advisors

Obama just keeps screwing up when it comes to making choices in religious advisors. He says he was "deeply honored to have the support and counsel" of all 26 members of his Catholic National Advisory Council, whom he called "committed Catholic leaders, scholars and advocates."

Yet, Catholic League president Bill Donohue says he should dump them. You see, there is not one who agrees with the Catholic Church on all three major public policy issues. Those who defy the Catholic Church on two of these issues, abortion and embryonic stem cell research are forbidden to receive Communion as long as they continue to back those procedures, effectively excommunicating themselves.

That Barack, he really knows how to pick 'em.

Barack's Bad Choices

Otis Moss, the replacement for Jermiah Wright at the Trinity United Church of Christ, has been described by BarackObama as a "wonderful young pastor." Is he much different from Wright?

From the pulpit he defends his congregation and Wright.

"We have listened and watched as the wonderful work of our church has been vilified this week," he told about 3,000 congregants on Palm Sunday morning. "This week should be special for us because I guess we know a little something about crucifixion."

If only these guys would learn something from the crucifixion of Christ. "Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing."

If this is Obama's idea of a wonderful young pastor and if this is how he makes his choices, then surely he cannot be trusted to appoint a cabinet, pick advisors and nominate justices.

Enforce The Law?

Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning is making some people angry. Good for him.

"I'm not going to use taxpayer dollars to file lawsuits for illegal aliens," said Bruning after learning a couple in the U.S. illegally was bringing a case to his office. "You're not going to get a free lawyer" from his office, he said, "if you're not a citizen of this country."

This has ticked off idiots like Raul Gonzalez, legislative director of the National Council of La Raza, who said Bruning's interpretation would allow people to "run wild over immigrants." No, Raul, not immigrants, illegals. There is a difference.

Ron Haskins, a former welfare adviser to President Bush who worked on the 1996 welfare overhaul as a congressional staff director, said the welfare reform law was meant to deny legal services to illegal immigrants.

But it is appropriate to spend public money on issues that "advance the interests of society," he said.

"If I was a citizen of the state," he said when told about Bruning's position, "I'd think, what's in the interests of the community?"

"Even if a person is here illegally, we should enforce the law."

If we were enforcing the law the illegals wouldn't be here. By all means enforce the law, beginning with the ones on immigration.
