Is anyone amazed that the president will not formally be participating in the National Day of Prayer? Barack will only sign a proclamation honoring the day. It would be political suicide to do otherwise and he knows it.
"That's the way the president will publicly observe National Prayer Day, privately, he'll pray as he does every day," Baghdad Bob Gibbs said.The question is, what direction will he be facing when he does it.
