Kerry Reinvents Jefferson

John Kerry, the self absorbed aristocrat of the left recently gave one of his infamous anti-war speeches at Faneuil Hall in Boston.

"This is not the first time in American history when patriotism has been distorted to deflect criticism and mislead the nation," preached Kerry, then looking to conceal himself in the shadows of America's founding fathers, he continued. "No wonder Thomas Jefferson himself said: 'Dissent is the greatest form of patriotism.' "

Unfortunately for John the storyteller, according to the Jefferson Library: "There are a number of quotes that we do not find in Thomas Jefferson's correspondence or other writings; in such cases, Jefferson should
not be cited as the source. Among the most common of these spurious Jefferson quotes are: "Dissent is the highest form of patriotism."

Wrong, once again, senator. Perhaps you should eschew scripture and history when inventing your latest tall tale. Now then, tell us about that Christmas in Cambodia again.

John Kerry, release your FULL military records.
