Pakistan Mentoring Iran?

Via The Chicago Sun-Times, comes word that the Iranians went to a retired Pakistani general for advice on how to prevent an attack on their nuclear facilities.

Retired general, Mirza Aslam Beg, admits he told them, ''make it clear that if anything happens to Iran, if anyone attacks it -- it doesn't matter who it is or how it is attacked -- that Iran's answer will be to hit Israel; the only target will be Israel.''

With allies like this, it's easy to confuse them with your enemies. How long can Pervez Musharraf retain power and stave off the mobs of radicals that populate Pakistan? And if he goes, will Pakistan be another nuclear armed Muslim madhouse?
