Bogus Bomb Builders

CNN reports that government investigators created a company to obtain a license for radioactive materials that could have been used to build a dirty bomb.

Thanks to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's licensing system, in 28 days investigators set up a fake company from their offices in Washington. They obtained a license to buy equipment containing nuclear materials. They changed the license to get access to an unrestricted amount of nuclear material and got commitments from two suppliers for machines containing radioactive material.


How is it that issues like this are still unresolved so many years after 9/11? Will anyone kick butt and take names? Will anyone be held responsible and lose their job? This is merely another example of how the government fails to protect us and why we keep becoming more vulnerable as al-Qaeda becomes stronger. Read this article.
