Effective as ever, John McCain failed in his attempt to strip out an estimated 8,500 earmarks from the $410 billion spending bill.
Obama intends to sign the legislation, describing it as leftover business from 2008, as if that means its ok for Barack to break another promise to the American people.
Taxpayers for Common Sense estimates the legislation contains 8,570 disclosed earmarks worth $7.7 billion.
The stock market's dropping, the economy is in free fall, international crises remain unattended, while Barack suggests buying stocks may be a good investment.
