Clinton Plays The Paper Tiger

Another mindless, innocuous warning came from our Secretary of State Wednesday. Hillary Clinton said a potential missile launch by North Korea would be a provocative act that would have consequences.

"We have made it very clear that the North Koreans pursue this pathway at a cost and with consequences to the six-party talks which we would like to see revived and moving forward as quickly as possible," she told reporters on a visit to Mexico City.

"This provocative action ... will not go unnoticed and there will be consequences," she said.

If this sounds like the parents you've seen telling their little brat for the tenth time to sit down and behave, then you have the picture. The child continues to willfully disobey because while the behavior does not go unnoticed, the consequences are never forthcoming.

For heaven's sake Hillary, at the least have the intelligence to sit down and shut up. You are not going to do anything about North Korea, Iran, or any of these other asylums that we generously refer to as nations. Let them run amok, along with Al-Qaeda, Hamas and Hezbollah. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll wipe the liberals out first. Then we can get down to business.
