Bush Sworn In, Lefties Just Swear

At some point we should be celebrating as a nation, that once again we have elected a leader for our country and the reins of power continue uninterrupted. How many other countries in the world wish they could say that? Why do we give attention to these childish displays of temper that refuse to recognize the people's choice?

If you are so far out of the mainstream, that you have no hope of getting this nation to walk the path you have chosen for yourself, then perhaps it is time to look elsewhere. Stop threatening to leave, do it! Please inflict yourself on a more deserving country that needs your particular and peculiar way of thinking. May I suggest a southern excursion? I'm sure one of our Latin neighbors would find your flag burning and refusal to recognize elected officials more charming than we do here. Drop us a card and let us know.

Or, you could head up north and involve yourself with the Quebec crowd. I'm sure they would be open to your brand of divisiveness that keeps a nation from being united.

Whatever you choose, do it quickly and allow the rest of us to go about our business for another four years until we all come together again to pass the power on peacefully once more. We are Democrats and Republicans second and Americans first. If that is unacceptable to you, than Vaya con Dios.

These people will never ever leave this country. You know why? Because they can't pull the same shenanigans they do here in Latin America, and they know it.

Under the guise of being "patriotic dissenters" they'll stay in the U.S. and will constantly be a thorn in the side of patriotic, freedom loving Americans.

This reminds me, I saw some web site where they offer to fly disgruntled lefties out of the county to Canada if they renounce their U.S. citizenship. What an excellent idea.
