The Not So Friendly Skies

When it comes to safety and security whether its our borders or our air travel, are secondary to making sure that business turns a profit.

Now, NASA is refusing to make public the results of a national survey of pilots that found frequent near collisions, runway interference, bird strikes and last minute approach changes. Why the secrecy? A senior NASA official, associate administrator Thomas S. Luedtke, said revealing the findings could damage the public confidence in airlines and affect airline profits.

How about just giving us the facts you bureaucratic bozo and let the chips fall where they may. No, the public be damned, business as usual.
