Obama Brings Us Mabus
The New York Times reports that in 1998, while Mabus and his wife were having marital problems, he surreptitiously recorded a meeting the couple had with a mutual friend, Rev. Jerry McBride. Mabus had told McBride in advance that he had been advised by a lawyer to tape the conversation. Neither man mentioned the recording to Mrs. Mabus. During the session, she admitted having an affair and told her husband, “I will hate you till the day I die, and I will tell my children.”
What I find interesting is not the messy divorce, but the man's name. Mabus jumps off the page because it has become infamous thanks to Nostradamus.
Century 2, Quatrain 62
Mabus will soon die, then will come,
A horrible undoing of people and animals,
At once one will see vengeance,
One hundred powers, thirst, famine, when the comet will pass.
If this guy is approved, and he probably will be, get ready for every prophecy nut to come out of the woodwork.
More fun from the Obama Big Top.

Obama's Diplomacy Circus
Now they're ready to fire their long range missile in violation of international law. Secretary of State Clinton just finished saying there would be consequences if this happened. However, yesterday Defense Secretary Robert Gates said, "I would say we're not prepared to do anything about it."
Did anyone expect anything else from the Obama Big Top?

Brazil's Bigot Bashes Whites.
He also told reporters: “This crisis was caused by the irrational behaviour of white people with blue eyes, who before the crisis appeared to know everything and now demonstrate that they know nothing." Then Brazil's best bigot added, “I do not know any black or indigenous bankers so I can only say [it is wrong] that this part of mankind which is victimised more than any other should pay for the crisis.”
Luiz is brought to you by a country that wants a permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council. Yet, this will make little impact in the media since it's in for national leaders to blame the white race these days.

Clinton Plays The Paper Tiger
"We have made it very clear that the North Koreans pursue this pathway at a cost and with consequences to the six-party talks which we would like to see revived and moving forward as quickly as possible," she told reporters on a visit to Mexico City.
"This provocative action ... will not go unnoticed and there will be consequences," she said.
If this sounds like the parents you've seen telling their little brat for the tenth time to sit down and behave, then you have the picture. The child continues to willfully disobey because while the behavior does not go unnoticed, the consequences are never forthcoming.
For heaven's sake Hillary, at the least have the intelligence to sit down and shut up. You are not going to do anything about North Korea, Iran, or any of these other asylums that we generously refer to as nations. Let them run amok, along with Al-Qaeda, Hamas and Hezbollah. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll wipe the liberals out first. Then we can get down to business.
Hillary Blames America
"Our insatiable demand for illegal drugs fuels the drug trade," said our Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. "Our inability to prevent weapons from being illegally smuggled across the border to arm these criminals causes the deaths of police officers, soldiers and civilians. So, yes, I feel very strongly we have a co-responsibility."
Why does she not mention the culture of corruption that permeates Mexico? Why does she not mention the continued violation of our sovereignty by illegals and the Mexican military?
This liberal self flagellation of our great nation is disgusting.

Whatever, Meghan
Remember, what this budding intellectual said about Sarah Palin, "First of all, she's really chill. She's really nice, really friendly. She's really up on pop culture, which I always respect. She's very smart."
Meghan loves tattoos and calls herself a "progressive Republican." She believes in gay marriage and fell in love with the Republican Party because of daddy.
Now, the left feels she's a useful tool to use against the right and so she is getting lots of exposure. How long before this lover of pop culture fades from the scene? When the liberals tire of her she'll be gone forever. No loss there.

Time To Start Asking Questions
But he also said the Bush administration's policy of holding detainees for years on end with no trials is "unsustainable,' and has only fueled anti-American sentiments. He added during an interview with "60 Minutes," that Vice President Dick Cheney's claim that plans to close Guantanamo will make America less safe is not the case.
So what's the solution Barack?
All this guy does is restate problems. He never gives a definitive statement as to how to fix anything.
If people are leaving Gitmo and rejoining the terrorists, that endangers America. Is that ok as long as anti-American sentiment is reduced? Why will no one hold this guy's feet to the fire so we get straight answers?
Why is no one asking him hard questions about the plan to force veterans to use their private insurance for treatments or the large bonuses for executives of AIG or why he thinks the Special Olympics is humorous?

Barack Says His Bowling Is Special
He said he had been working on his bowling game just below his new residence and recently rolled a 129.
“That’s very good, Mr. President,” responded Leno .
"It's like — it was like Special Olympics, or something," the president replied.
Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton told reporters that Obama had “made an offhand remark making fun of his own bowling that was in no way intended to disparage the Special Olympics.”
Really? And exactly how was he making fun of his own bowling without disparaging the Special Olympics? If he was saying he bowls funny by comparing it to the event for the handicapped, then he must think their activities and conditions are humorous also. Otherwise the analogy makes no sense as a comical, "offhanded" description of his game.
And where is the outcry from the left? The silence is deafening.

The Selling Of The Presidency
Barack will become the first sitting U.S. president to appear on a late night chat show when he is a guest of Jay Leno.
Will he crack a few jokes from the guest chair?
"I just flew in tonight and boy are my ears tired!"
Or maybe he'll do a little standup.
Barack: "The economy is really bad."
Audience: "How bad is it?"
Barack: "I was on my way over here and I saw Warren Buffett and Bill Gates sharing a taxi."
What next? Will we soon see him shilling green products on TV?
Where is the reverence for the office?

Who Put The O In Barack Obama?
But, it's a new day today and Obama will be back to being black with little need to waltz out his white roots again until opportunity makes it worth his while.
Oh well, he's no better than he should be.

Dirty Waters In Washington
Her husband, Sidney Williams, served on the bank’s board until early last year and has owned at least $250,000 of its stock.
Walters is a prime example of the political slime that needs to be removed. Either not comprehending or not caring about conflict of interest, Waters claims to have done nothing wrong.
The race card is already in play, with claims that criticism of OneUnited by the federal banking regulators is racially motivated.

Madoff Should Be Made Homeless
If there were any justice, this scumbag would be stripped of every possession, leaving him only the clothes on his back and turned out homeless and penniless to survive on the street. Everything he has should be sold to make restitution to those he has robbed.
Instead, he will likely wind up living in a penthouse with plenty of money as he laughs about those he ripped off.
Here's wishing they find him a hot spot when he gets to hell.
Talk About Mood Swings
Remember that folks. 2013 will be here faster than you think and 5 will get you 10 that there will be some excuse, some unforeseen event, something the Republicans did that will be the excuse why we didn't achieve the Obama goal.
The president now says that the national crisis is "not as bad as we think." He says that he has seen public opinion seesaw without logic. He doesn't seem to realize the mixed signals are coming from his camp. The doom and gloom has been a constant message from the Obamamites.
At the end of January his man on the economy, Dr. Larry Summers, was on Meet the Press. When asked what he was telling the president he said, "I'm telling him he's inherited an extraordinarily difficult situation: the worst economy since the second World War, a financial system that's got very serious problems, government budget deficits he's inheriting of a trillion dollars, an entitlement situation that's three times the burden that it was in the year 2000."
That kind of talk does not inspire hope and confidence especially when the president's fix is to drive us deeper into debt.

Murtha Presumed Guilty
Politico.com reported Wednesday that in recent years John Murtha obtained millions in earmarks for Penn State University’s Electro-Optical Center (EOC), which then rerouted the money to clients of PMA Group, a military-oriented lobbying firm that has close ties with Murtha.
PMA’s offices were raided by the FBI in November. The New York Times reported that investigators were looking for evidence that PMA made illegitimate campaign contributions to the Pennsylvania Democrat.
PMA and its clients – companies like Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and General Dynamics – have donated some $2.38 million to Murtha’s campaigns since 1998, according to the nonprofit Center for Responsive Politics.
Another watchdog group, Taxpayers for Common Sense, says Murtha sponsored or co-sponsored over $100 million of defense-related earmarks in 2008 alone. He is ideally positioned to do so as chairman of the Defense Subcommittee of the House Appropriation Committee.
“We have not been contacted by any federal agency,” Murtha spokesman Matt Mazonkey tells Newsmax, “and no one is suggesting that Congressman Murtha has anything to do with this investigation.”
Why should we wait for proof. Let's treat Murtha the way he treated our boys in Iraq. During an interview with Chris Mathews Murtha said, " Well, I’ll tell you exactly what happened. One Marine was killed and the Marines just said we’re going to take care – we don’t know who the enemy is, the pressure was too much on them, so they went into houses and they actually killed civilians."
That's it, no trial, no presumption of innocence. John Murtha deserves the same consideration.
When charges were dropped against our marines, Murtha never apologized, never admitted he was wrong and then the morons in his state elected him again.
Well, John, the time has come for payback you filthy felon. You are guilty and should be removed from office at once. I'd suggest hanging if there were a tree that could hold you.

Poor Richard
The latest example is Richard Gere trying to excuse Hillary.
CNN reports that Gere told Wolf Blitzer in an interview on Monday that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “misspoke in the moment” when she said that human rights “can’t interfere with the global economic crisis.”
He doesn't get it. Just like the former NY senator abandoned the Jews when she no longer needed them for election purposes, she will abdicate any position, break any promise, violate any ethic when it suits her purpose.
Get over it Richard, the Dalai Lama can't deliver anything the Clinton's want so you and your Tibetan victims won't even get a polite nod. To Hillary human rights is a mere speed bump in the road to reaching her personal goals.
Let's Educate The Terrorists
Hillary has just announced the Middle East Partnership Initiative. The four-year program will support about 10 scholarships each year for disadvantaged students to attend four-year courses at Palestinian universities. The program will also offer 25 “opportunity grants” to enable promising but disadvantaged young Palestinians to apply to American-accredited institutions in the United States or the Middle East. This is in addition to $900-million in aid to the Palestinian Authority announced by the Hillary last week.
We are cutting back on education programs across our nation, but we can find money to support and encourage this anti-semitic, anti-American toilet of terror run by Hamas and friends? This is insanity gone wild.

Smilin' Jack, Cartoon Columnist
Jack Cafferty finds the grammar of Bobby Jindal embarrassing, but doesn't seem to mind that his president doesn't know how to use the word "me" properly in a sentence. If the one error Cafferty pounced on makes Jindal embarrassing then Obama's mistake would be disgraceful.
He's worried about Sarah Palin not paying taxes on per diem charges. However he seems unconcerned about several other people who haven't paid their taxes, yet have been chosen by the president for important positions in the federal government.
Then he goes after Michael Steele and Rush Limbaugh while ignoring William Ayers and Jeremiah Wright sitting in the president's glass house. I don't believe Rush or Michael have damned America or advocated violence against it. Had they, perhaps they would be more palatable to Jack and his new crush.
This is just one angry reckless guy and I can only imagine CNN has allowed him to publish his rantings as some well intentioned therapy.
Biden Performs For NATO
The Obama administration has ordered 17,000 more U.S. troops to the country an increase to the 38,000 already there. NATO has about 25,000 troops in Afghanistan.
Exactly what is Joe saying? The troop increase is not the answer? Then, why did they approve it? The troop increase is the answer? Then what is the problem?
This is politics. Biden is on a feel good mission to make the NATO boys think they're part of the decision making process when in fact they are not. NATO needs to make a bigger investment in this war if they want to play seriously.
Meanwhile, if the war is not going well, we cannot wait for the Obamaminions to conduct endless studies and soul searching while at the same time trying to appease their lunatic left wing supporters. We need leadership, we need action and we need it now! Good grief, are we in trouble.

Only The Beginning
Well, no one can say they weren't warned about what electing this inept excuse for a leader would bring. This, America, is just the beginning of the economic horrors that are about to befall us. In addition, you may anticipate the same ineptitude in other important aren such as foreign policy.
By the time these four long years have passed, this nation will be so gravely self-mutilated there will be little chance of a speedy recovery.
UPDATE: In just a short time since I wrote this comes the announcement that unemployment is now 8.1%. If Obama keeps bemoaning how bad things are instead of boldly leading us out of this mess, we may soon be looking at double digit unemployment. It will also be interesting to see how the stock market reacts today. Of course, Obama and crew aren't paying attention to it. They refuse to be influenced by such things. Heaven help us!
UPDATE: It's only a couple of hours later and now we have the announcement that a record 31.8 million Americans received food stamps at the latest count, an increase of 700,000 people in one month. Obama is on a roll, unfortunately for us it's downhill.

Spending More Money We Don't Have
Why then don't we use our military to battle the same problem in our own country. Let's use whatever money we don't have, but would have spent in Mexico to fix our own problems. I guess that would be too sensible for the total insanity that now pervades our government.

Obama Drafts Another Tax Dodger
Ron Kirk, the former mayor of Dallas who would be the White House chief trade representative if confirmed, didn't pay taxes on some speaking fees he donated to his alma mater and he tried to write off the full $17,000 costs of his Dallas Mavericks season tickets.
Obama can't seem to find someone he likes who hasn't been ripping off the government. What were the odds?
Aimless Administration
Obama intends to sign the legislation, describing it as leftover business from 2008, as if that means its ok for Barack to break another promise to the American people.
Taxpayers for Common Sense estimates the legislation contains 8,570 disclosed earmarks worth $7.7 billion.
The stock market's dropping, the economy is in free fall, international crises remain unattended, while Barack suggests buying stocks may be a good investment.
This is what happens when you have no leadership.

To Sir, With Contempt
“CEOs everywhere, what do you mean in Hollywood? Of course, why should Hollywood be exempt? No, of course, it’s a part of a process. We have an awful lot of people in our country who are – who have no jobs," said Sidney.
Why don't we cap the salaries of entertainers and sports figures also since they make far more money than they're worth. Of course, it should be less than a CEO, let's say $250,000. Perhaps if they had to eke out a living like the rest of us we would no longer be subjected to their faux pearls of wisdom. I would be willing to vote for just about anything that would muzzle these egomaniacs.
