To Sir, With Contempt

Sidney Poitier agrees with Barack Obama on capping banks CEOs' salaries but he also thinks all CEOs should have a salary cap of $500,000 a year.

“CEOs everywhere, what do you mean in Hollywood? Of course, why should Hollywood be exempt? No, of course, it’s a part of a process. We have an awful lot of people in our country who are – who have no jobs," said Sidney.


Why don't we cap the salaries of entertainers and sports figures also since they make far more money than they're worth. Of course, it should be less than a CEO, let's say $250,000. Perhaps if they had to eke out a living like the rest of us we would no longer be subjected to their faux pearls of wisdom. I would be willing to vote for just about anything that would muzzle these egomaniacs.
