And Now for Something Completely Different

Webster's New World College Dictionary said "wedgie" was among its new additions to its latest edition.

The new edition will carry this listing: "wedgie: noun. a prank in which the victim's undershorts are jerked upward so as to become wedged between the buttocks."

All I can say is, what took so long?

Other additions include "Al Qaeda," "blog," "cargo pants," "irritable bowel syndrome" and "partial-birth abortion."

What about moonbat, or is that covered under irritable bowel syndrome?

Same Sex Marriage the San Francisco Treat

In the eagerly awaited opinion likely to be appealed to the state's highest court, San Francisco County Superior Court Judge Richard Kramer said that withholding marriage licenses from gays and lesbians is unconstitutional.

"It appears that no rational purpose exists for limiting marriage in this state to opposite-sex partners," Kramer wrote.

If Kramer's reason and understanding does not equip him to resist marriage for homosexuals then neither will it find anything wrong with marrying a pet or that attractive head of lettuce in the back of the crisper.

Snow Use

I have nothing to add to this. It stands pathetic all on its own. Comments?

Immigration Snow Job.

Tip of the stetson to American Patrol Report.

American Citizen or Not ?

Good article at the Washington Times regarding citizenship. Here's part of it.
Every person who becomes a U.S. citizen must take our standard oath of allegiance. This requirement is ancient, going back to the very beginnings of our country. Its antique language is redolent of old verities. It is intended to be a solemn act, a rebirth as awesome as childbirth.
The oath begins: "I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen;" and ends: "I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God."

This negates dual citizenship in my book and it's about time we took it to heart.

Chinese Chess, Taiwan's Turn

China makes its move on Taiwan. Read this at CNN.

The commies in China are just about done screwing over Hong Kong, so now the Taiwanese get to enjoy the full pressure of the "people's republic".

Despite protests, by those paragons of truth in Beijing, that this is not a "war bill", we all know this is meant to intimidate and allow China to crush little Taiwan into submission. I love those cutsey commie phrases like 'peaceful reunification" (just like Viet Nam and Korea).

And that makes the treachery of Philip Bennett even more significant.

Who Is He Speaking For ?

I don't Think US should be the Leader of the World.
Washington Post Editor Philip Bennett.
Read it there for yourself.
Will someone silence this moron? Who the hell is he to give an interview to the potentially greatest adversary the USA has ever known that allows them to believe we are not united and encourages them to confront us? Bennett, you piece of left wing, psuedo intellectual garbage. You belong in the Benedict Arnold hall of shame. If I had my way you would be a man without a country because you obviously do not belong in this one. May your name become synonymous with betrayal of the worst kind.

Mexican Legal System in Action

A state police officer has been killed by a crowd of vigilantes in Mexico City. Checkout the story on CNN. Remember this is the country that's concerned about the Mexican murderers on our death row. Maybe we should put them in police uniforms and turn them loose in Mexico City.

This is the part I found significant:

The killing came amid heightened concerns about vigilante justice in Mexico, where police are seen as inept or corrupt and people say they must take security into their own hands.

The attack in Oaxaca resembled a November incident in Mexico City in which an angry crowd beat and burned alive two plainclothes federal agents and severely injured a third.

These are the Mexican authorities that are supposed to help us watch the border for terrorists. Their own people see them as inept and corrupt, Houston, we have a problem.

And this: President Vicente Fox responded by firing Mexico City's police chief and the head of the Federal Preventative Police, blaming Mexico City's government for tolerating vigilantism. Dozens of people accused of participating in that attack have been arrested.

I'm sure he'll be firing people after a bridge or school or sports arena is blown up by some muslim martyr maniac in this country. Because, if they come in through Mexico we need to hold Mexico liable and we should start with Senor Fox.

Will We Close the Border Before or After?

Time Magazine has an article stating that one of Zarqawi's captured henchmen has indicated they may try to attack us by way of Central America and then across the Mexican border. Why this is news is beyond me, they will come either by way of Canada or Mexico and it will happen soon. One doesn't have to be a super sleuth to figure this out all one has to do is look for opportunities and odds for success which would be pretty high if done with even a modicum of planning.
This part of the article is very disturbing: According to a restricted bulletin that circulated among U.S. security agencies last week, the interrogated aide said al-Zarqawi has talked about hitting "soft targets" in the U.S., which could include "movie theaters, restaurants and schools."
If these lunatics manage to do this I hope we have a plan of retaliation in place already, like destroying, and I mean obliterating, one of their shrines. Further, we should let Iran and Syria both know that we will hold them culpable and as the Bard said, "Cry havoc, and let slip the dogs of war: that this foul deed shall smell above the earth, with carrion men groaning for burial."

Iranians Skating on Thin Ice

In response to recent remarks by U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi said on Saturday that compensating for "some mistakes" and lifting "some sanctions," that were imposed on the Islamic Republic of Iran for "no reason," would not convince his nation to stop seeking its rights in the area of nuclear technology.

Some sanctions, he said, including the prohibition on the sales of spare parts for civilian aircraft, should never have been imposed on Iran in the first place, and that the lifting such a sanction is "no incentive at all."

And he added that [for sovereign states, admission to the World Trade Organization is one of the most undeniable rights.

Asefi stated that by disseminating lies and inaccurate theories, and claiming that Iran has a nuclear weapons program, the United States has deceived the European Union, while Iran's nuclear activities have always been transparent, and that the International Atomic Energy Agency has also acknowledged the civilian nature of Iran's nuclear program.

"Hypocrisy and duplicity constitute the core of U.S. foreign policy, and this has caused a global distrust of the United States. While Ms. Condoleezza Rice speaks of lifting some sanctions, George W. Bush extends economic sanctions on Iran," he noted.

Asefi said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is determined to make use of civilian nuclear technology, and that no type of pressure or threat could force Iran to stop seeking its rights.

But Sirus Nasseri, a senior Iranian negotiator taking part in nuclear talks with the European Union, dismissed the U.S. move, saying "it is too ridiculous to be called an offer," and calling it," a mere gesture."

We've got an even more interesting gesture for you, down with Iran and up US. These guys will have to be dealt with very, very soon.

Next Stop Armageddon ?

Israel has drawn up secret plans for a combined air and ground attack on targets in Iran if diplomacy fails to halt the Iranian nuclear program, according to a published report.

The inner Cabinet of Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon gave "initial authorization" for an attack at a private meeting last month at his Negev Desert ranch, the Sunday Times of London reported today.

Israeli forces have used a mock-up of Iran's Natanz uranium-enrichment plant in the desert to practice destroying it, according to the Times, which cited no sources.

Their tactics include raids by Israel's elite Shaldag commando unit and airstrikes by F-15 jets, using bunker-busting bombs to penetrate underground facilities, the paper says.

The plans have been discussed with American officials who are said to have indicated provisionally that they would not stand in Israel's way if all international efforts to halt Iranian nuclear projects failed, reports the Times.

If this happens, and perhaps it must, the middle east will explode. Are we ready?

Have some Heroin, Eh?

Just over the United States northwest border, addicts will soon be able to get their fix from the Canadian government in the form of free heroin given by nurses and doctors and paid for by the taxpayer.

The Vancouver Police Chief is among supporters who say the heroin giveaway will let junkies shoot up without having to resort to theft or prostitution to buy their drugs. Breaking that cycle of crime, they argue, is the first step toward turning an addict's life around.

“I’m not a medical expert, this is not my field. I'm an expert in public safety," Graham said. "And if this will help reduce the crime rate — I'm all for it."

I suppose it's in the public interest and safety to have a bunch of stoned, unproductive junkies stumbling around all the time. I suppose it is in the national interest of Canada to say, if you choose not to take responsibility for your life and become a productive, functioning member of society don't worry about it. We will force the rest of society to worry about you and we will enable you to continue down your path of destruction.
Here we go folks, the end justifies the means. Don't attack the problem just control the symptoms. No wonder so many of our lefties want to move there.

Recovered addict Chuck Swesey - who's been clean 20 years - says the program smacks of government drug pushing. He says he knows how he would've ended under a program like this: "I'd be dead ... or I'd be in a jail or an institution."

Listen to this man, the recovered voice of reason. This is government drug pushing and by using taxpayers money it forces people morally opposed to participate. Oh wait, we do that here with abortion.

Sell Our Souls for Sovereignty ?

If we want to halt the invasion of our country we may have to sleep with the enemy. Get a load of this.
New York Sen. Hillary Clinton is triangulating the immigration issue in the manner of the master, Bill Clinton, for the 2008 presidential election. With her ear closer to the ground than the GOP leadership, the hard-core leftist senator has taken a stand against illegal immigration that is far to the right of the GOP. If it does not pay closer attention to its constituency, the Republican Party might soon find itself with a base that has wandered away.
How can the Republicans, for the most part, refuse to represent the American people on this vital issue?

Mistreatment Only Allowed in Mexico

Mexican dignitaries are expressing concerns about violence or human rights violations possibly occurring when a bunch of civilians begin assembling along the border.
I got a real laugh out of this. Where are these guys and their hand wringing when innocent US citizens have their property destroyed or soiled by illegals? Where are they when crimes like rape and assault are committed against innocent American citizens? The answer of course is nowhere.
I find it absurd that the only time these "dignitaries" are expressing concern is if an American might mistreat a Mexican trespasser. Why don't they express their outrage at the mistreatment of the people while they're in Mexico? It's that mistreatment that causes them to come here in the first place. I'll bet if they shouted concern about that down in old Mexico they'd wind up on meathooks in a packing plant somewhere.

Could Condi Be a Candidate?

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice yesterday pointedly declined to rule out running for president in 2008, and gave her most detailed explanation of a "mildly pro-choice" stance on abortion.
In an interview with editors and reporters in the office of the editor in chief at The Washington Times, she said she would not want the government "forcing its views" on abortion.
She seemed bemused by speculation that a Rice candidacy could set up an unprecedented all-woman matchup with Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, New York Democrat, who is widely expected to seek the presidency.

Other Republicans have questioned whether evangelical Christians, a crucial component of the Republican base, would turn out to vote for a pro-choice candidate. Miss Rice, a Presbyterian's preacher's daughter who twice in the interview spoke of her "deep religious faith," suggested it's a moot point. "I'm not trying to be elected."
Miss Rice said abortion should be "as rare a circumstance as possible," although without excessive government intervention. "We should not have the federal government in a position where it is forcing its views on one side or the other.
"So, for instance, I've tended to agree with those who do not favor federal funding for abortion, because I believe that those who hold a strong moral view on the other side should not be forced to fund it."

Interesting, how Ms. Rice performs over the next few years will have a lot to do with her chances but if she, herself, is not ruling out the possibility then she must be considered a viable candidate.
The next question is, can she beat Hillary who is almost assured the democratic nomination as far as I'm concerned.
I must admit, I am beginning to think of Condoleezza as a strong runner for the Republican ticket and the idea of seeing the first female president is certainly exciting as long as it's not Hillary.

Churchill Should Be Ward of the State.

This piece of human rubbish, Ward Churchill continues to amaze. Just when you think we've seen it all another piece of poop bobs to the surface. Read this:

University of Colorado officials investigating embattled professor Ward Churchill received documents this week purporting to show that he plagiarized another professor's work.Officials at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia sent CU an internal 1997 report detailing allegations about an article Churchill wrote.

"The article . . . is, in the opinion of our legal counsel, plagiarism," Dalhousie spokesman Charles Crosby said in summarizing the report's findings.

Churchill did not return calls to his home or office Thursday seeking comment.

Dalhousie began an investigation after professor Fay G. Cohen complained that Churchill used her research and writing in an essay without her permission and without giving her credit. Although the investigation substantiated her allegations, Cohen didn't pursue the matter because she felt threatened by Churchill, Crosby said.

Crosby said Cohen told Dalhousie officials in 1997 that Churchill had called her in the middle of the night and said, "I'll get you for this."

Cohen still declines to talk publicly about her experience with Churchill, but she agreed the Dalhousie report could be shared with CU officials, Crosby said, because "whatever concerns she may have about her safety are outweighed by the importance she attaches to this information getting out there."

Crosby declined a request for a copy of the report but said it does not contain information about the alleged threat from Churchill.

It is not clear if CU officials are aware of the alleged threat. A CU spokeswoman said officials there would not comment on any matter related to an ongoing review of Churchill's work.

A three-person panel is reviewing that to determine if he meets the standards of professional integrity set by CU.

The CU Board of Regents ordered the review after the public outcry over an essay Churchill wrote comparing victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks to notorious Nazi bureaucrat Adolf Eichmann. Since then, Churchill has come under fire for some of his other writings and speeches, his scholarship, his claim of American Indian ancestry, and even his artwork.

The review panel, led by Interim Chancellor Phil DiStefano, originally was expected to issue its report this week but said it likely won't be released before Monday and perhaps later.

In 1991, Churchill edited a book of essays published in Copenhagen, Denmark, which included a piece by Cohen on Indian treaty fishing rights in the Northwest and Wisconsin. When publishers wanted to reprint the essay in the United States, Cohen declined to allow her essay to appear, Crosby said.

So, Churchill penned an essay on the same topic under the name of the Institute for Natural Progress, a research organization he founded with Winona LaDuke. In the contributors section of the book, Churchill said he took the lead role in preparing the essay.

Beaver, there's something wrong with the Ward!

Special Delivery

Here is a letter from 32 of our representatives to the Secretary of State calling on her to address the invasion of the US by Mexico during her meeting with Mexican officials. The text of the letter follows:

March 2, 2005

The Honorable Condoleeza Rice
Secretary of State
2201 C St., N.W.
Washington, D.C. 20520

Dear Secretary Rice:

The recent state-sponsored publication of explicit travel guides and instructions for Mexicans on how to enter the United States illegally is the latest example of a hostile, anti-American position adopted by the government of Mexico.

In an effort to preserve and strengthen the strong ties and mutually beneficial relationship between our two countries, we urge during the course of your meetings later this week with Mexican officials that you call on the government of Mexico to cease and desist from its flagrant campaign to encourage its citizens to violate the immigration laws and sovereign borders of the United States of America.

The following statistics covering only the Arizona-Mexico border quantify the enormity of the problem. In FY 2004 the U.S. Border Patrol apprehended 1,139,282 people - 3,121 each day - trying to cross the southwest border, up from 905,065 in FY 2003. If the Border Patrol is catching 1 in every 4, then approximately 9,364 illegal immigrants are crossing the southwest border every day!

Mexico's long-standing invasion of America - of the estimated 10 million illegal aliens in the U.S., seventy percent are Mexicans undermines U.S. workers, creates a permanent underclass of employees in this country, and burdens local, state and federal taxpayers with the enormous costs associated with providing services such as education, emergency health care, and law enforcement. And as you are well aware, this invasion of illegal immigrants provides a diversionary cover for both drug smugglers and terrorists to enter the United States.

Most recently, the state of Yucatan has published an 80-page "travel guide" (copy enclosed) with detailed information on how to enter the U.S. illegally, including descriptions of various routes to be used or avoided. The Mexican government has also published its own advisory to illegal immigrants. The booklet, entitled "Guide to the Mexican Migrant," offers similar advice, including how to evade immigration officers once in the U.S.

America has been a generous and good neighbor to Mexico. We urge you to make it clear to the Mexican government that our relationship cannot continue to deteriorate into a one-way affair. Not content with the opportunities for economic advancement that were promised by the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Mexico has sponsored an illicit economic scheme by encouraging Mexicans to work illegally in the U.S. and bolster the Mexican economy with remittances to their families back home. This scheme is expected to yield an estimated $17 billion, which represents the second largest revenue stream for that country behind only the state-owned oil industry.

Mexico should be made to understand that its aggressive encouragement of illegal immigration is quickly eroding the support this Congress has for our good neighbor policies and is a daunting if not insurmountable - barrier to consideration of a guest-worker plan.

We hope you will make it clear that if Mexico is to be considered a good neighbor and eligible to reap the benefits of that status, it must work with the United States to develop economic and immigration policies that would be mutually beneficial, rather than seek to undermine our laws, public safety, economy and culture, to say nothing of our long-standing relationship and generosity.

We look forward to your positive response and timely action.

Sincerely,

Alien Civil Liberties Union

While hundreds of Americans plan to take part in volunteer patrols of the U.S.-Mexican border next month, they'll apparently have some company from the American Civil Liberties Union.
According to the Tucson Citizen, the Arizona chapter of the ACLU wants to monitor the activities of those on patrol. And I thought it was too early in the year for rattlesnakes to be appearing.
How about protecting the property rights of American citizens?

If You're Not Part of the Solution, Guess What

"It's not a matter of if we reform Social Security, it's a matter of when and how we reform Social Security," said Republican Senator Chuck Hagel of Nebraska.
Hagel introduced his plan Monday. It contains personal accounts similar to President Bush's proposal, but also includes a fix for the long-term solvency of the system.
On Tuesday, Hagel asked where the Democratic plans are.
"I hope the Democrats will be introducing some Social Security reform legislation. I have not heard them talk about their alternatives other than raising taxes," he said.
The Social Security System is a problem for all Americans to deal with. Let's hear everyone's ideas and then pick something that the majority of Americans can live with. If you don't have any ideas then admit to the fact that you lack imagination and creativity and probably have no business representing the American people. Do not, however, sit in the peanut gallery (a good spot for Jimmy Carter) finding fault with everyone else's plan. The mere act of gainsaying does not make you a part of the solution. Bring something useful to the table or stay home.

Harridan Heinz Kerry Speaks Ex Cathedra

Teresa now speaks for the Catholic Church.

"You cannot have bishops in the pulpit -- long before or the Sunday before the election -- as they did in Catholic churches, saying it was a mortal sin to vote for John Kerry," she said.

Heinz Kerry gave no examples. Last year, a few prelates said they would not allow the Democratic nominee to receive communion in their dioceses. The bishop of Colorado Springs declared that Catholics voting for pro-choice candidates were not welcome at the communion rail.

"The church has a right and obligation to teach values," Heinz Kerry declared. "They don't have a right to restrict freedom of expression, which they did."

Obedience is a virtue. You cannot pick and choose which tenets of a religion you will follow. The hierarchy of the Catholic Church is well defined and the last time I looked Catholics in good standing were subordinate to it.

The unmitigated gall of this woman to condemn the leaders of Catholicism for standing firm in the beliefs of the church.

And so the self ordained sages continue, professing their faith not in God, but in themselves, and wondering why those of us who stand on the Word reject them.

"I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."

Peace, Peace But There is No Peace

In late January, PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) toured PA Television studios, instructing the director to tone down incitement as well as programs heaping praise upon him. Just this past Friday, a sermon was aired on PA TV outlining the planned destruction of the Jewish State.
Palestinian Media Watch (PMW) has translated the sermon into English and publicized it.

PMW Director Itamar Marcus explained: “The Palestinian Authority, in its Arabic messages to its people, has always denied Israel's right to exist and has often presented the peace process as a tactic leading to Israel's destruction. This goal was repeated Friday, on the Palestinian Authority television, in the official sermon.”
"We do not love any land more than the land of Palestine. Had the Jews not expelled us from it with their planes, their tanks, their weapons, their treachery around us, we would never leave you, O Palestine. (Quotes Muhammad, who promised he would return to Mecca as a conqueror).
“We tell you Palestine, we shall return to you, by Allah’s will. We shall return to every village, every town, and every grain of earth which was quenched by the blood of our grandparents and the sweat of our fathers and mothers. We shall return, we shall return. Our willingness to return to the 1967 borders does not mean that we have given up on the land of Palestine. No!

“We ask you: Do we have the right to the 1967 borders? We have the right. Therefore, we shall realize this right with any mean it takes. We might be able to use diplomacy in order to return to the 1967 borders, but we shall not be able to use diplomacy in order to return to the 1948 borders.

“No one on this earth recognizes [our right to] the 1948 borders [before Israel’s existence]. Therefore, we shall return to the 1967 borders, but it does not mean that we have given up on Jerusalem and Haifa, Jaffa, Lod, Ramla, Natanyah [Al-Zuhour] and Tel Aviv [Tel Al-Rabia]. Never.

“We shall return to every village we had been expelled from, by Allah’s will. Why? All the international laws deny the Palestinians their real borders. We might agree, but in the name of Allah, our grandfathers’ blood demands that we return to them [the borders]. Your fathers' blood was shed there, at the villages, at Ashqelon, at Ashdod, at Hirbia [a village between Gaza and Ashqelon, where Kibbutz Zikim is located today] and at others places, hundreds of villages and towns. [Their blood] demands it from us, and it shall curse anyone who will concede a grain of earth of those villages.

“Our approval to return to the 1967 borders is not a concession for our other rights. No!... this generation might not achieve this stage, but generations will come, and the land of Palestine... will demand that the Palestinians will return the way Muhammad returned there - as a conqueror.”

These are some more of the peace loving people our looney left would like to engage in dialogue. You can see how they are open to compromise .
