Bashar's Blame Game

From Ynet comes the news that Syrian Giraffe Boy Bashar Assad told the German magazine Der Spiegel that the United States and its Middle East policies are to blame for the recent attack on the US embassy in Damascus. (Of course, it's the Americans and their evil friends the Jews that are the underlying cause of every crisis.

It was four Syrians that tried to blow up the embassy, but the plot failed after Syrian guards killed three of the assailants in a shootout. The fourth man later died of his wounds. "This seems to have been the background of the attack, a reaction to America's policy in Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan," Assad said. (Yes, those fanatical American Christians and their zealous Zionist allies are definitely to blame. It's all that extemist preaching by the pope and his rabbinical cohorts that are creating the problems of the world.)

Syria's president was asked why the United States should be considered at fault for an attack that Assad said appeared to have been carried out by Syrians.

"Because they contribute to hopelessness here, to silencing dialogue between cultures," he said. (One would have thought the Syrian government would be responsible if its people feel hopeless, but I guess that just shows how subversive the Americans and Israelis are. As for dialogue, how or why do you talk to people who want to wipe you off the face of the earth. And, why would the Syrians want to talk to Jewish monkeys and American pigs?)

Syria, longtime friends and supporters of the peaceloving Hezbollah and various other pacifist Palestinian groups is considered a state sponsor of terrorism by the US government. Could this be part of the problem? Of course not, the Islamomaniacs and their enablers are never at fault.
