The islamomaniacs are suspected of being behind explosions in India that killed at least 44 people.
"Available information points to Pakistani and Bangladeshi groups being behind the blasts," Y.S.R. Reddy, chief minister of Andhra Pradesh state told reporters. The minister earlier said "this is definitely terrorist activity," and urged everyone to stay calm.
Authorities also found explosives at 16 other locations in and near the city of Hyderabad, Reddy said.
If we fail to tighten up our borders and become even more lax in our security procedures we may well become like India. Last year more than 200 people were killed by bombs set off in seven commuter trains in Mumbai.
Security is tight in India, at least it was when I visited about five years ago. I spent most of my time in Pune, headquarters of the Indian Army's Southern Command and felt very safe there. But, despite all precautions, the islamomaniacs will attack if given any opportunity. We must not allow that to happen here.
