Another Obama Proud Of America

From AP comes a report that Barack Obama reveled Thursday in his newfound status as the likely Democratic nominee and signaled that Republicans face a fierce fight over Virginia this fall, a state long-held by the GOP.

"I'm proud of America for giving me this opportunity, but we've still got work to do," the Illinois senator told a crowd in this southeastern city of about a 20,000 on the Tennessee border.

He's proud of America for choosing him? What an egomaniac. He should be humbled by being chosen, but not Barack.

By the time his campaign is over we will see as much arrogance and elitism as John Kerry ever displayed.

Y'all better start clutching your bibles and guns.

UPDATE: He just can't contain his arrogance ( then you wouldn't learn Christian humility sitting under Jeremiah Wright).

Speaking about the possibility of Chicago hosting the 2016 Olympic games, Barack boasted In 2016, I'll be wrapping up my second term as president, so I can't think of a better way than to be marching into Washington Park alongside Mayor Daley, alongside Rahm Emanuel, alongside Dick Durbin, alongside Valerie Jarrett as President of the United States, and annoucing to the world, 'Let the games begin!'"

What a pompous fool.
