Conversation Between Madmen

The man Obama wants to talk to, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has just been quoted as saying, "I must announce that the Zionist regime, with a 60-year record of genocide, plunder, invasion and betrayal is about to die and will soon be erased from the geographical scene."

He added, "Today, the time for the fall of the satanic power of the United States has come and the countdown to the annihilation of the emperor of power and wealth has started."

Now, logical, sane people would dismiss attempting to reason with a lunatic who considers the United States to be Satan's assistant. After all why would Ahmadinejad negotiate with an emissary of the devil. And why would an American president negotiate with a psychotic who advocates the destruction of a sovereign nation?

Then, one must consider that after 20 years at Trinity, Obama is accustomed to hearing insane rantings of bitterness, hate and bigotry. Why Mahmoud could easily be a guest speaker. With Ahmadinejad, Barack will be in his comfort zone.
