I Was For A United Jerusalem Before I Spoke Against It

On Wednesday, Obama pledged at a meeting with AIPAC his "unshakable commitment to Israel's security" if he is elected president in November, and insisted that Jerusalem should stay an undivided Israeli city.

This caused the unhinged Palestinians, including president Mahmud Abbas, to throw a fit.

"Jerusalem is one of the files under negotiation. The entire world knows perfectly well that we will never accept a state without Jerusalem. That should be clear," Abbas said. What is clear is losers don't get to make the rules and there is no good reason for Israel to give up any part of Jerusalem.

Anyway, back at the ObamaNation, Barack danced around his commitment to AIPAC by saying, "Obviously it's going to be up to the parties to negotiate a range of these issues. And Jerusalem will be part of those negotiations."

Tell us how you really feel Barack. Should Israel negotiate the future of Jerusalem or keep it an undivided Israeli city? What a spineless wimp!
