Seymour Sees Subterfuge

The rumors of war and threats of retaliation continue unabated. Seymour Hersh, the master of anonymous sources and a man not known for his credibility, says the US has launched a "significant escalation" of covert operations in Iran, sending U.S. commandos to spy on the country's nuclear facilities and undermine the Islamic republic's government. This is not the first time Seymour has spread such rumors.

Meanwhile, Iran's parliament speaker, Ali Larijani, warned other countries against moves that would "cost them heavily." In comments that appeared in the semi-official Mehr news agency Sunday, an Iranian general said his troops were digging more than 320,000 graves to bury troops from any invading force with "the respect they deserve."

Also, Iran has moved ballistic missiles into launch positions, with Israel’s Dimona nuclear plant among the possible targets, defence sources said last week.

Is something really afoot?

McCain's Grasp Of The Obvious

CNN reports that John McCain called Jimmy Carter a "lousy" commander in chief.

In an interview with the
Las Vegas Sun published Friday, McCain, who is a proponent of nuclear reprocessing, was asked why he thought Carter was against the process when he was president.

"Yes, because Carter was a lousy president," McCain quipped. "This is the same guy who kissed Brezhnev."

McCain's comments are in reference to the now famous moment when Carter and then Soviet Union leader Leonid Brezhnev kissed after signing the SALT II treaty in 1979.

The evidence of how bad Carter was as president is voluminous...still I'm thankful that McCain is willing to state the obvious.

Another Reason For Nobama

If there was ever a reason to elect McCain over Obama the Supreme Court has just given it. If the court as it presently stands can hand down decisions defending foreign enemies of the United States and protecting child rapists, then there is no telling what evil will flourish if Barack gets to nominate new judges.

When the innocent can no longer find protection from the law it becomes time for the righteous to mete out justice themselves.

Opening The Book Of Barack

Barack Obama is now accusing James Dobson of making stuff up. This from a man who has made up stories about his parents, his ancestors and fabricated seven extra states.

The problem Barack has is he thinks the theology of Jeremiah Wright has validity. Like any other false version of Christianity it has truth mixed with heresy. I sincerely doubt that Obama has ever even read a book by a true theologian, preferring instead to immerse himself and his children in the pernicious black liberation theology.

Stand by, Barack is going to give more glimpses into the real Obamadrama.

From The Curb To The Gutter

Antonio Villaraigosa, the disgusting mayor of Los Angeles, had already shown his contempt for the institution of marriage by his affair with television newswoman Mirthala Salinas and numerous other romances while married. Not satisfied with that, he is now going to officiate a gay marriage ceremony at Los Angeles City Hall,.

Another perfect example of the corrupted deviants leading the left, Villaraigosa at one time called himself a Roman Catholic. These liberal sewer dwellers show no remorse for their sins and so they slowly sink further into depravity by rationalizing their behavior as tolerance and broadmindedness.

Marriage for them is simply a convenience to be jettisoned when no longer useful or more trouble than it's worth. So what difference is it to them who gets married?

Hope You Had A Good Weekend

I hope you all had a good weekend. I'm afraid I have too many errands to run today so life has gotten in the way of my blogging.

I did watch a discontinued tv show The Black Donnellys. I saw four episodes and thought it was quite good. No wonder it was discontinued. If you have the opportunity pick it up on dvd.

Ban The Buzzwords

All the years I spent in business, I knew I was in for BS when I heard people using buzz words. Synergy was one of my favorites, followed by interface, empowerment, proactive, paradigm and the ever popular webinar. It wasn't just words, but also phrases like thinking outside the box, just in time, who moved my cheese, where's the pony, team player, win-win and far too many others.

People who communicate this kind of crap are seen by some to have accumulated the answers to the mysteries of business, which is partially why we are in such economic trouble today. These business gnostics tend, more often than not, to be little more than charlatans whose business acumen is vague, yet in reality meaningless. These are the same idiots who renamed workers, associates and replaced supervisors and managers with team leaders. Like the fanatics with Mao's little red book, they cajoled and threatened in order to change a successful culture into the substandard piece of garbage it is now. It will continue to decline even more with the advent of green buzzwords, like carbon footprint.

Well, CNN reports that at least one candle in England struggles against the darkness. British bureaucrats have been warned, no more synergies, stakeholders or sustainable communities.

The body that represents the country's local authorities has told its members to stop using management buzzwords, saying they confuse people and prevent residents from understanding what local governments do.

The Local Government Association, whose members include hundreds of district, town and county councils in England and Wales, on Friday sent out a list of 100 "non-words" that it said officials should avoid if they want to be understood.

The list includes the popular but vague term "empowerment;" "coterminosity," a situation in which two organizations oversee the same geographical area; and "synergies," combinations in which the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Officials were told to ditch the term "revenue stream" for income, as well as the imprecise "sustainable communities." The association also said councils should stop referring to local residents as "customers" or "stakeholders."

The association's chairman, Simon Milton, said officials should not "hide behind impenetrable jargon and phrases."

"Why do we have to have 'coterminous, stakeholder engagement' when we could just 'talk to people' instead?" he said.

The association sent its letter after reports that one town council had told staff to use the term "thought showers" instead of "brainstorming."

Officials at Tunbridge Wells council in southern England felt brainstorming might offend people with epilepsy, a condition that involves periodic electrical storms inside the brain.

However, the National Society for Epilepsy said it had surveyed its members and they did not find the term offensive.

Obama Shows His True Colors

That's it. Obama is now smearing Republicans as racists and bigots in order to win. The guy who said he was going to unite us, the guy who said he would not stoop to using race, has shown what he learned at the feet of Jermiah Wright.

He says, he expects Republicans to highlight the fact that he is black as part of an effort to make voters afraid of him. Who is hightlighting his blackness except Obama himself. He could be portraying himself as a man of two races, but no that would cost him too many militant black votes. So, instead he is going to try and drive a wedge between whites, hoping to garner enough guilt laden individuals to put himself over the top.

Well based on this latest statement by Barack, infused with anti white racism, every Republican, every person who has a Republican family member or friend, if you like McCain or not, should rally to reject this candidacy of embitterment and hatred.

Obama's Word Worth Zero

There really isn't a lot to say. Barack said Thursday he will bypass the federal public financing system in the general election, breaking his commitment to take the money if his Republican rival did as well.

Once it appeared that he could amass more funds by not keeping his word, he chose raising unlimited amounts of money and spending as much as he can.

"It's not an easy decision, and especially because I support a robust system of public financing of elections," Obama said. It was not an easy decision because people with discernment are going to see right through his bs and recognize Obama's total lack of integrity. He is a manipulator and a prevaricator and not very good at either one, fooling only the mental midgets and emotionally handicapped who worship him.

We Can't Get Out Of This With Democrats

If you want to see why America in danger, why America is in trouble, all you have to do is listen to the Democrat response to President's Bush's call for Congress to lift the moratorium on offshore drilling.

This confederacy of communists, cretins and crazies, known as the Democrat Party would turn us into another Venezuela or Mexico. Both of these countries have nationalized their oil industries.

Maurice Hinchey (D-NY) advocates our following the lead of Hugo Chavez. “Should the people of the United States own refineries? Maybe so. Frankly, I think that’s a good idea."

Of course, it wouldn't be the people of the US making the decisions, it would be some overpaid bureaucrats like the ones who have made border security such a success.

Ever since birdbrain Pelosi mouthed the phrase, we can't get out of this by drilling the rest of the party has begun to parrot that mantra. "Awk, we can't get out of this by drilling, awk. Nancy boy want a cracker, awk."

If this is not enough to motivate all good Americans to drive these scoundrels from Washington then all hope is lost.

Al Gorges Himself On Energy

The liberal hypocrisy knows no bounds. The climate charlatan, Al Gore, gets caught in his own carbon trap.

In the year since he took steps to make his home more energy-efficient, Gore’s home energy use surged more than 10%, according to the Tennessee Center for Policy Research.

“A man’s commitment to his beliefs is best measured by what he does behind the closed doors of his own home,” said Drew Johnson, President of the Tennessee Center for Policy Research. “Al Gore is a hypocrite and a fraud when it comes to his commitment to the environment, judging by his home energy consumption.”

In the past year, Gore’s home burned through 213,210 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity, enough to power 232 average American households for a month.

I wonder how much of it was used to cook up that almost extinct Chilean sea bass Al and his family enjoy so much.

It's Just Another Snippet

Let's see, if McCain had confused the prime minister of Iraq with the president of Iraq we'd be getting the snide remarks about his age. Obama does it and what is it? Ignorance, stupidity or it's just not important to him. The press doesn't seem to want to venture an opinion.

Well, at least he's talking about going to Iraq and admits that progress has been made. “I gave [Zebari] an assurance that should we be elected, an Obama administration will make sure that we continue with the progress that's been made in Iraq, that we won't act precipitously,” said Obama.

However in November of 2006 Barack was singing a different song. "While some have proposed escalating this war by adding thousands of more troops, there is little reason to believe that this will achieve [victory]," Obama said. Then, in September of 2007 he proclaimed defeat. "Let me be clear: There is no military solution in Iraq and there never was," Obama said in excerpts of the speech provided to The Associated Press."The best way to protect our security and to pressure Iraq's leaders to resolve their civil war is to immediately begin to remove our combat troops. Not in six months or one year — now," he said.

So much for putting this idiot in charge.

He and his fellow donks have been longing to run up the white flag of surrender so they can give their full attention to making this country the kind of third world hell hole they love to visit.

Now, he admits progress in Iraq has been made, but fails to mention it is nothing this snake oil salesman can take credit for. His visit is as meaningless as the tripe that drips from his lying lips.

Which Is It?

Here's a little gem from the Jerusalem Post. "Barack Obama's half brother Malik said Thursday that if elected his brother will be a good president for the Jewish people, despite his Muslim background."

Yet, the Obama '08 website says, "
Barack Is Not and Has Never Been Muslim."

Which is it? There's more info at the Israelinsider, give it a perusal.

Sacre Bleu

Who'd have thought we would see this, the heads of state of the US and France standing side by side in agreement on Iran? There they were, on Saturday, warning Iran to stop enriching uranium and berating Syria for supporting terrorism.

Bush said Iran with a nuclear weapon would threaten world peace and Sarkozy said Iran with a nuclear weapon would be "totally unacceptable."
Sarkozy warned Syria against standing with Iran on the nuclear standoff.

Amazing, n'est-ce pas?

Mystery In Mexico

Here's an interesting piece for a couple of reasons. First, Mexico is deporting illegal aliens and second, Mexico's problem with armed criminals is not limited to our border with them.

A group of 34 Cubans held on immigration charges in Mexico vanished after a bus taking them to a detention center was hijacked by heavily armed assailants, officials said Thursday.

Police found the empty bus, and no sign of the Cubans or the assailants, Thursday morning in the small town of Ocosingo, police in the state of Chiapas said.

The seven immigration guards and two bus drivers were left on the highway,.

The Cubans were arrested on Saturday in the resort town of Cancun on charges they entered the country illegally.

The bus was taking them to a detention center on the border with Guatemala to begin deportation procedures.

An immigration official in the state capital Tuxtla Gutierrez told AFP that a group of gunmen carrying automatic rifles stopped the bus late Wednesday.

"Several armed men wearing ski masks stopped the bus on the highway and threatened the immigration guards with automatic rifles," said one source. "They took the bus along with the Cubans."

Importing Poison?

Mexican growers have called a U.S. warning against certain types of their tomatoes unjust, saying it has brought exports to a halt and could cripple Mexico's $900 million industry.

Growers said their produce is subject to double the scrutiny that U.S. tomatoes face: inspected first by Mexican officials and then again at the border when crossing into the U.S.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is still hunting for the source of a salmonella outbreak linked to three types of raw tomatoes that has sickened 167 people in 17 U.S. states since mid-April. It has cleared imports from at least six countries, but not Mexico, which sends 80 percent of its tomato exports to the United States.

Mexican produce has been a problem before, so it is totally reasonable to scrutinize it again.

This FDA Import Alert is a perfect example. It reads in part "During 2000, 2001, and 2002, there were four multi-state Salmonellosis outbreaks traced back to Mexican cantaloupes." It also mentions, "Inspectional findings (conducted in response to the outbreaks) at a number of cantaloupe growing areas and packing sheds in Mexico reveal that Mexican cantaloupe are indeed manufactured, processed, or packed under gross insanitary conditions. Further, these inspections underscore the lack of an overall environmental sanitation program, as well as apparent lack of regulatory authority in Mexican law to address the insanitary conditions that FDA believes lead to Salmonella contamination."

Here's another example of what has previously been sent from Mexico. "This report describes a large hepatitis A outbreak associated with eating a food item containing green onions at a single restaurant. The majority of ill patrons interviewed as of November 21 were exposed during a 3-day period in early October. No ill food service worker identified could have been the source of the outbreak. The green onions likely were contaminated with HAV in the distribution system or during growing, harvest, packing, or cooling. Traceback investigations completed to date have determined that the green onion source is one or more farms in Mexico."

Another article says, "Salmonella was found in lobster tails, shrimp, fresh cooked crabmeat, chocolate candies, cantaloupes, pumpkin seeds, cilantro cooking sauce, instant tea, rice flour, ground guajillo pepper, oregano, fresh basil, and several types of tea from Mexico."

Just read between the lines folks, it's enough to gag a maggot.

Not The Jim Johnson Barack Knew

Jim Johnson, the new Obama embarassment, has had to step down as lead of the running mate search team.

Despite Obama's whining about having to vet people who are involved in the search for a potential vice president, he had to say today, “Jim did not want to distract in any way from the very important task of gathering information about my vice presidential nominee, so he has made a decision to step aside that I accept."

But Obama's first reaction was more of the usual: "Well, look ... first of all, I am not vetting my vice presidential search committee for their mortgages. I mean this is a game that can be played -- everybody you know who is anybody who is tangentially related to our campaign I think is going to have a whole host of relationships."

In other words this is all a game and get used to the fact that a lot more of my undesirable associates will be crawling out of the woodwork as the campaign continues.

Another poor choice comes back to haunt Barack who even tried to deny Johnson was working for him. It all depends on what the definition of work is! This guy is an inept, arrogant charlatan who actually believes his own bs.

Dennis The Menace Is At It Again

Dennis Kucinich, still a representative in congress and still crazy as a loon, has introduced a resolution to impeach President Bush.

Is it any wonder when lunatics like Kucinich are allowed to tie up government with moronic rantings about personal vendettas that no real work gets done? This impeachment resolution is going nowhere, much the same as Dennis and proceeding with it is a huge waste of time and taxpayer dollars.

If only the UFO that he saw would swing back and beam up this cretin, life on planet earth would be vastly improved.

Don't Step In The Obamanure

Here it comes, the Obamanure. Promising everything to everyone by promoting class warfare, Barack is out of the gate.

"I'll make oil companies like Exxon pay a tax on their windfall profits, and we'll use the money to help families pay for their skyrocketing energy costs and other bills." What are you doing with the outrageous taxes already on our fuel? Oh, that's right it's for all those pork projects the senate is so fond of.

"Such relief can't wait until the next president takes office. ... That's why I've called for another round of fiscal stimulus, an immediate $50 billion to help those who've been hit hardest by this economic downturn." Really? And who will pay for all this or will you just do it with a hidden tax by printing more currency to make the dollar even more worthless than it already is?

Republicans and Democrats all own this fiscal fiasco just like they both own the illegal alien debacle. They have shown no foresight and are so intent on blaming each other for purposes of political power that our nation is in trouble. If there were ever cause for being tried for malfeasance, this is it.

Why we promote people to the presidency who were incapable of doing the job in the senate is a mystery. We are now about to reap the misery of our sowing of stupidity.

If Guatemala Can Do It, Why Can't We?

Guatemala is sending hundreds of troops, elite presidential guards and anti-drug police to its border with Mexico to stem growing drug violence. Drug smuggling into southern Mexico, bound for the U.S., is running rampant.

In southern Mexico, suspected drug gunmen dumped a man's head outside a newspaper in Tabasco state on Saturday with a message threatening police and rivals. "This is what will happen to those who interfere. The army won't protect you." A Mexican soldier died of gunshot wounds on Saturday after a shootout late on Friday in the western state of Michoacan.

The Guatemalan deployment is part of a $1.4 billion U.S. anti-drug aid plan for Mexico and Central America proposed by President George W. Bush. The initiative needs U.S. congressional approval. Guatemala is likely to go ahead even if Congress fails to act.

Lawmakers in Washington have held up the plan with calls to attach conditions on how and where the aid -- which includes helicopters and encrypted communication devices -- is used. They also want to include human rights oversight in the package.

Mexican legislators rejected conditions on the anti-drug aid on Saturday as a threat to Mexico's sovereignty and called for rewriting the proposal at a meeting with U.S. counterparts. "For the initiative to be successful, our rights must be respected and any intention to intervene in (domestic) issues must be put aside," Mexico's lower house speaker Ruth Zavaleta told the meeting in Monterrey, northern Mexico. Here we have beggars wanting to be choosers. Mexico seems to have no problem trying to interfere and intervene in American issues. They just appealed to the U.N.'s highest court Thursday to block the executions of Mexicans in the United States. What gall!

The U.S. Senate wants Mexican soldiers accused of crimes to be tried in civilian courts. It also wants federal officials to take on state and local anti-drug roles, the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy says. The government of Mexican President Felipe Calderon says any conditions for the aid are unacceptable because Mexico is undergoing its own police and judicial reform. Senator Chris Dodd, a Connecticut Democrat, warned that "we will not give (Mexico) a blank check." That would be a welcome change.

Spin Cycle Set To High Speed

It should be on high cycle as Hillary attempts to wash that man right outta her hair and send him on his way.

Stay tuned.

I Was For A United Jerusalem Before I Spoke Against It

On Wednesday, Obama pledged at a meeting with AIPAC his "unshakable commitment to Israel's security" if he is elected president in November, and insisted that Jerusalem should stay an undivided Israeli city.

This caused the unhinged Palestinians, including president Mahmud Abbas, to throw a fit.

"Jerusalem is one of the files under negotiation. The entire world knows perfectly well that we will never accept a state without Jerusalem. That should be clear," Abbas said. What is clear is losers don't get to make the rules and there is no good reason for Israel to give up any part of Jerusalem.

Anyway, back at the ObamaNation, Barack danced around his commitment to AIPAC by saying, "Obviously it's going to be up to the parties to negotiate a range of these issues. And Jerusalem will be part of those negotiations."

Tell us how you really feel Barack. Should Israel negotiate the future of Jerusalem or keep it an undivided Israeli city? What a spineless wimp!

Another Obama Proud Of America

From AP comes a report that Barack Obama reveled Thursday in his newfound status as the likely Democratic nominee and signaled that Republicans face a fierce fight over Virginia this fall, a state long-held by the GOP.

"I'm proud of America for giving me this opportunity, but we've still got work to do," the Illinois senator told a crowd in this southeastern city of about a 20,000 on the Tennessee border.

He's proud of America for choosing him? What an egomaniac. He should be humbled by being chosen, but not Barack.

By the time his campaign is over we will see as much arrogance and elitism as John Kerry ever displayed.

Y'all better start clutching your bibles and guns.

UPDATE: He just can't contain his arrogance ( then you wouldn't learn Christian humility sitting under Jeremiah Wright).

Speaking about the possibility of Chicago hosting the 2016 Olympic games, Barack boasted In 2016, I'll be wrapping up my second term as president, so I can't think of a better way than to be marching into Washington Park alongside Mayor Daley, alongside Rahm Emanuel, alongside Dick Durbin, alongside Valerie Jarrett as President of the United States, and annoucing to the world, 'Let the games begin!'"

What a pompous fool.

She Knows It's Over

A letter from Hillary to her supporters:

I wanted you to be one of the first to know: on Saturday, I will hold an event in Washington D.C. to thank everyone who has supported my campaign. Over the course of the last 16 months, I have been privileged and touched to witness the incredible dedication and sacrifice of so many people working for our campaign. Every minute you put into helping us win, every dollar you gave to keep up the fight meant more to me than I can ever possibly tell you.

On Saturday, I will extend my congratulations to Senator Obama and my support for his candidacy. This has been a long and hard-fought campaign, but as I have always said, my differences with Senator Obama are small compared to the differences we have with Senator McCain and the Republicans.

I have said throughout the campaign that I would strongly support Senator Obama if he were the Democratic Party's nominee, and I intend to deliver on that promise.

When I decided to run for president, I knew exactly why I was getting into this race: to work hard every day for the millions of Americans who need a voice in the White House.

I made you -- and everyone who supported me -- a promise: to stand up for our shared values and to never back down. I'm going to keep that promise today, tomorrow, and for the rest of my life.

I will be speaking on Saturday about how together we can rally the party behind Senator Obama. The stakes are too high and the task before us too important to do otherwise.

I know as I continue my lifelong work for a stronger America and a better world, I will turn to you for the support, the strength, and the commitment that you have shown me in the past 16 months. And I will always keep faith with the issues and causes that are important to you.

In the past few days, you have shown that support once again with hundreds of thousands of messages to the campaign, and again, I am touched by your thoughtfulness and kindness.

I can never possibly express my gratitude, so let me say simply, thank you.

Sincerely,
Hillary
Hillary Rodham Clinton

Clinton Sees Himself In Others

In his tirade against editor Todd S. Purdum of Vanity Fair, Bill Clinton described in someone else the flaws he is desperately trying not to acknowledge in himself.

He described Purdum as "sleazy" and "dishonest." These are definitely adjectives that can correctly be applied to Bill, who took advantage of an aide young enough to be his daughter and then committed perjury in his denial of the truth.

Summing himself up in one final outburst against Purdum, Bill said, "the guy ought to be ashamed of himself. But he has no shame."

How true, Bill, how true about you.

Conversation Between Madmen

The man Obama wants to talk to, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has just been quoted as saying, "I must announce that the Zionist regime, with a 60-year record of genocide, plunder, invasion and betrayal is about to die and will soon be erased from the geographical scene."

He added, "Today, the time for the fall of the satanic power of the United States has come and the countdown to the annihilation of the emperor of power and wealth has started."

Now, logical, sane people would dismiss attempting to reason with a lunatic who considers the United States to be Satan's assistant. After all why would Ahmadinejad negotiate with an emissary of the devil. And why would an American president negotiate with a psychotic who advocates the destruction of a sovereign nation?

Then, one must consider that after 20 years at Trinity, Obama is accustomed to hearing insane rantings of bitterness, hate and bigotry. Why Mahmoud could easily be a guest speaker. With
Ahmadinejad, Barack will be in his comfort zone.

Danish Embassy Attacked In Pakistan

The prophet's psychotics are at it again. This time they exploded a car bomb outside the Danish embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan.

They probably still have their loin cloths in a bunch over the Mohammad cartoons and are expressing their tolerance, mercy and peace loving nature accordingly. Al Qaeda psycho Ayman al-Zawahri recently called for attacks on Danish targets in response to the cartoons.

"I urge and incite every Muslim who can harm Denmark to do so in support of the Prophet, God's peace and prayers be upon him, and in defense of his honorable stature," ranted al-Zawahri.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's new government is trying to strike peace deals with militants in its regions bordering Afghanistan. What are the odds that will turn out well for the world?

Barack Tosses Another Body Overboard

Barack Obama has reluctantly resigned his 20 year membership in the Trinity United Church of Christ.

In a press conference yesterday, his words and tone implied that if he weren't running for president he wouldn't have had to leave this wonderful church. He is trying to paint himself as a martyr who has been hounded from his house of worship by a mean spirited press.

He cannot sincerely repudiate the Trinity agenda because he sees nothing intrinsically wrong with it. He accepts the racist rantings and ravings as occasional happenings in the course of doing Trinity church business.

If he thinks what goes on at his former church is excused by some good works, then he is theologically ignorant. If Jeremiah Wright was as great a pastor as Barack claimed, then he would have given Obama some spiritual meat to chew on. But, instead of preaching Christ and Him crucified, Wright was too busy with black liberation showmanship.
