Bomb Scare

A United Airlines Boeing 757 carrying 157 passengers and six crew members, from Washington to Denver had a bomb scare Wednesday night. Two law enforcement officials said investigators were told a man was asked about the smell of smoke in the bathroom and he made a joke that he had been trying to light his shoes.

The flight crew radioed air traffic control to ask that the flight be met on the ground by law enforcement, Trevino said. It turns that the culprit was identified as a Qatari diplomat, Mohammed Al-Madadi. He was trying to sneak a smoke in an airplane bathroom.

Here's the best part, no charges will be filed and we will the eat the cost of the military jets that were scrambled. Obama will probably apologize for the air marshals who restrained the guy and bow to the Amir at his first opportunity. After all, we wouldn't want to offend the prophet's psychotics.
