Proving The Pope's Point

(CNN) Gunmen have shot and killed an Italian nun at a children's hospital in Mogadishu, Somalia. The assault raised speculation that it was an Islamic response to Pope Benedict's recent comments that attempting to spread religion by violence is not reasonable. Actually, it is downright insanity. Speaking of which, it seems many Muslims saw this as an attempt to portray their religion as innately violent. Well?

Determined to prove Islam a religion of peace and tolerance, the Muslim clerics turn their mobs loose to murder and pillage.

A nun has been killed, five churches in the West Bank and Gaza have been attacked and (Ynet) the leader of Israeli Arab Muslims, Sheikh Raad Salah incited a gathering of 50,000 Israeli Arabs by promising that “The Israeli occupation will leave Jerusalem soon. It will happen sooner than is thought,” and the city will become the capital of the “world Islamic caliphate.”

Innately violent, ya think?! Where's the Muslim protest over this???
