Virtual Fence Catches Virtually No One

Our incompetent government has done exactly what I said they would, wasting $20 million on a "virtual fence" that is now being scrapped because it can't do what needs to be done.

Just two months ago Homeland Security's chief nimrod, Michael Chertoff, gave his stamp of approval to the fence built by Boeing. Less than a week later, the GAO told Congress it "did not fully meet user needs and the project's design will not be used as the basis for future" developments.

The Border Patrol had little input in designing the prototype. No surprise then that it didn't meet their needs.

As the pages fly of the calendar, seasons change and new years come and go, the government continues to do nothing of any consequence to protect our borders and guarantee the security of America's citizens. And, not one presidential candidate from either party cares enough to address the problem unless it means amnesty for illegals and open borders to the world. How sad for us all and our great nation.
