Obamassiah's Chosen People
"There's no doubt that when it comes to our treatment of Native Americans as well as other persons of color in this country, we've got some very sad and difficult things to account for," Obama told hundreds of attendees of UNITY '08, a convention of four minority journalism associations.
Obama has told local reporters that he supports the federal recognition bill for native Hawaiians drafted by Senator Daniel Akaka. For someone who wants to unify he certainly seems to support divisiveness.
"I personally would want to see our tragic history, or the tragic elements of our history, acknowledged," he said.
"I consistently believe that when it comes to whether it's Native Americans or African-American issues or reparations, the most important thing for the U.S. government to do is not just offer words, but offer deeds." Read this as using the tax money of citizens who had nothing to do with the poor treatment of any group to line the pockets of disgruntled self declared victims.
The Star Bulletin reports that when Obama walked on stage, many journalists in the audience jumped to their feet and applauded wildly after being told not to do so. They wo't even follow instructions from their own messiah's lackeys.
During a two-minute break halfway through the event, which was broadcast live on CNN, journalists ran to the stage to snap photos of Obama. So much for the unbiased journalists of America.
When Obama stood up to say farewell, these so called journalists gave him another standing ovation. What a bad joke.

Madonna Pelosi To Save The Planet
Here we have a leader of a Congress that can't secure our borders, that allowed lending institutions to run amok and that has an historically low approval rating. Yet, her goal is saving the planet.
Good luck to us all if these fruitcakes win the White House. There goes America and without America, there goes the planet.

Terrorists Going For The Gold
The people of the world might be enjoying themselves. Allah forbid it! The prophet's psychotics will see to it that there is no laughing, cheering or carrying on of any kind. IntelCenter said that in an earlier five-page communique the group had promised to unleash suicide bombers against the Olympics and told Muslims that the use of biological weapons would be religiously justified.
I think it is fortunate that the Chinese will be dealing with these lunatics. They seem to have few reservations on dealing with terrorism and now ACLU or liberal joke judges.

Obamanos Fails To Deliver To The Troops
His "team" is desperately trying to find wriggle room, now that they've been caught, once again, with their patriotism at their knees. They're saying that the last thing Obama wanted "was to have injured soldiers get pulled into the back-and-forth of a political campaign."
Bullcrap! Once again the Obama campaign has shown their true colors and they are not red, white and blue.
Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman said later Friday that the Pentagon did not explicitly say Obama should not visit the base but was concerned with whether his capacity there would be one of a presidential candidate, not a senator. "We do have certain policy guidelines for political campaigns and elections. And what is appropriate and what is not appropriate in those situations. But the Pentagon certainly did not tell the senator that he could not visit Landstuhl," Whitman said.

How Morally Responsible Is John Edwards?
John Edwards' remarks in New Orleans, 1/30:
"I began my presidential campaign here to remind the country that we, as citizens and as a government, have a moral responsibility to each other, and what we do together matters."
Hmmm. Moral responsibility, what we do together matters? Now, there seems to be some question about how morally responsible John really is.
A Beverly Hills hotel security guard has told FOXNews he intervened this week between a man identified as John Edwards and National Enquirer reporters who chased him down following his rendezvous with his mistress and love child.
I guess this will drop him off Obama's VP list, then again maybe not. He would bring some of the Clinton flair to the ticket.
Caltrans Ordered To Replace Minutemen Sign
The Minutemen had state approval to participate in the highway shoulder cleanup program. They were given a spot on Interstate 5. Then Caltrans reassigned them citing safety reasons for the move, saying the controversial group might become a target or otherwise prompt a disturbance along the freeway. The location of the activists' sign near the checkpoint had drawn complaints from guess who, Hispanic groups and their elected stooges.
The Minutemen sued Caltrans, alleging free-speech discrimination.
While the lawsuit is pending, a federal judge last month ordered Caltrans to reinstate the Minutemen's permit to conduct highway shoulder cleanups at the original site.
Justice triumphs!

Running For The Global Presidency
Of course, no mention is made on what the cost to the American taxpayer will be. Why isn't the press asking questions? For instance, why are our elected representatives wasting time on this, but allow our borders to remain unsecured. Why would we send money to others, but let our banks become broke. Why would we take money from American citizens as their energy costs spiral of control?
When will we get some people in Washington who are concerned about their fellow Americans? If Obama is elected, we can expect much more of our money to be funneled into ill conceived liberal global programs, none of which will benefit this nation.

Prophet's Peace Patrol In The Philippines
Bishop Martin Jumoad of Isabela also told the Asian church news agency UCA News that he got text messages from Catholics saying they, too, had received threatening letters.
The letter had the names "Puruji Indama" and "Nur Hassan J. Kallitut" printed at the bottom and "mujahedin" under each name. The purported senders introduced themselves as "Muslim warriors" who "don't follow any laws other than the Quran," Islam's holy book.
They said Bishop Jumoad should choose to convert to Islam or give "jizya," Islamic tax, to their group in exchange for protecting him in the "place of Muslims."
If he refuses to convert or pay, the letter threatened "force, weapons or war may be used" against him. It warned him not to feel safe even if he is "surrounded by soldiers" and cited bombings in various cities.
Bishop Jumoad was given 15 days to respond, with two mobile phone numbers to contact.
"If we do not receive response from you, it means you will oppose," the letter added.
I haven't seen a report on this elsewhere in the media, they are probably too worried about the usual Muslim reaction to bad press.

Obama Downplays Troop Efforts
With a left handed compliment to our military, Obama said, “There is no doubt that the extraordinary work of our U.S. forces has contributed to a lessening of the violence, just as making sure that the Sadr militia stood down or the fact that the Sunni tribes decided to flip and work with us instead of with Al Qaeda.”
The man is disgusting, a self serving egomaniac who merely wants the notoriety of being the first non-white elected to our highest office. Race, gender or religion is never a reason to vote or not vote for someone. Obama, is just plainly unfit for the job.

He'll Drink To That
He was presented with the "Aztec Eagle" in Washington on Friday. I'm sure Teddy would have preferred a bottle of mescal. He should feel kinship with the worm. Then again, he must also feel kinship these foreign lawbreakers.
What a career, from drunk driving homicide to subversion of your country's sovereignty.

Will Somebody Please Gong Iran
Iran had been expected to respond to a package of incentives offered in exchange for halting the enrichment of uranium. Has that happened? Of course not cousin, don't be ridiculous.
Instead, Iran's chief negotiator Saeed Jalili delivered what has been described as a "meandering" monologue full of irrelevant small talk about culture. This is the kind of stuff liberals love, but produces no positive or constructive results.
On Sunday, Iranian state radio reported that President Mahmoud Ahmadenijad called the talks a "step ahead" and said country's formal assessment would be issued soon. Yes, it was another step in the Iranian stalling process and one step closer to the eventual attack on Israel.
This charade is disgusting!

Talking To Terrorists
Yet, we're going to send an envoy to talks between international and Iranian negotiators over Iran's nuclear program and rumors continue that the U.S. may be interested in setting up a diplomatic outpost in Iran.
We have never paid these barbarians back for invading our embassy and taking our citizens hostage. Had we dealt with this act of war severely instead of allowing Jimmy Carter to display his cowardice and indecisiveness, things would not be as bad off as they are now. In fact, by this time Iran would probably be habitable again. As always, acting with restraint merely gets us in greater trouble down the road.

Jackson's Slur Gets A Free Pass
I think I'm done. What in the world is there to say if this is given a free pass? And, why aren't those who would give it a free pass being held accountable?

Jesse Jackson Uses The Word That Cannot Be Said
"We will challenge and urge all artists and comics to stop using this word," Jackson said. "What other group is subjected to such a degrading terminology?"
Yet it seems Jackson has excused himself from this challenge and has no problem degrading his own race. It is being reported that Jackson said Obama was "talking down to black people," and referred to blacks with the N-word when he said Obama was telling them "how to behave."
The "reverend" seems to have put his foot in it, once again, and why FOXNews would try to cover for him is curious.

Romney And McCain Still Possible?
Romney brings economic expertise, a sorely needed asset at this time. Also, he seems unafraid to confront his adversaries head on. Both, these qualities could be a huge help to McCain. In addition, Romney would bring more money into the campaign and could be the deciding factor in swinging some key states.
I know I personally would feel a lot more comfortable supporting a ticket with Romney on it.

Obamamaniacs
The now infamous New Yorker cover is a perfect example. Cartoons of George Bush, Condoleezza Rice and John McCain have been equally if not more offensive, but the left sees no problem there.
Commentator John McLaughlin is taking heat for using the term "oreo" in reference to Obama on his TV show over the weekend.
What is happening to free speech? Are we to become like the crazed rabble we see in other countries who riot over a cartoon? As Patrick Henry might say, "Forbid it, Almighty God!"

Obama's Bad Sentence Structure
After telling a Jewish group that Jerusalem must remain the "undivided" capital of Israel, Barack heard the outrage of the Palestinians who want part of the city for their capital. So, Barack changed his tune to, "Obviously it's going to be up to the parties to negotiate a range of these issues. And Jerusalem will be part of those negotiations."
Suddenly, it became obvious that Jerusalem was up for grabs. Now, when questioned about the issue, Barack is blaming everything on poor sentence structure.
Interviewer Fareed Zakaria asked Obama: "One area where you're outside the international consensus -- and certainly, perhaps, some others -- is the statement you made in a recent speech supporting Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel. Now, why not support the Clinton plan, which envisions a divided Jerusalem, the Arab half being the capital of a Palestinian state, the Jewish half being the capital of the Jewish state?"
Obama replied: "You know, the truth is that this was an example where we had some poor phrasing in the speech. And we immediately tried to correct the interpretation that was given.
"The point we were simply making was, is that we don't want barbed wire running through Jerusalem, similar to the way it was prior to the '67 war, that it is possible for us to create a Jerusalem that is cohesive and coherent.
"And it is an example of us making sure that we are careful in terms of our syntax. But the intention was never to move away from that basic, core idea that they -- that those parties are going to have to negotiate these issues on their own, with the strong engagement of the United States."
What a load of hooey! And when he promised he would never compromise on Israel's security and do everything in his power to keep Iran from getting nuclear weapons can we be sure the syntax and phrasing was o.k. on that? How many escape clauses does he have built in to those promises.?

Fouls And Fowl Bedevil FOXNews
One would expect that the ball fractured the child's skull, but not according to FOXNews.
Boy Fractures Skull After Hit by Ball at Cubs Game
Doctors and family members say a 7-year-old boy who fractured his skull when he was struck by a foul ball at Wrigley Field was recovering and expected to live.
Green Is Officially The Color Of Madness
First elected in 1992, she lost a primary challenge in 2002 after stating members of the Bush administration stood to profit from the war that followed the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
In 2004 she ran again and won. Voters dumped her in 2006 after she was accused of striking a U.S. Capitol Police officer who questioned her at a security checkpoint. She was not wearing the lapel pin that would have identified her as a member of Congress.
