Another Episode Of Madwoman McKinney

It is rather troubling that someone like Cynthia McKinney has enough support to get elected and worse that she has people coming to the defense of her erratic behavior. Of course, when it is leftwing nut jobs like Harry Belafonte and Danny Glover, who leave the arms of Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez to rush to your side, that says a lot about you.

McKinney has said she will be exonerated and that "this whole incident was instigated by the inappropriate touching and stopping of me, a female, black congresswoman."

For someone playing the race card she has an interesting history of racism and anti- Semitism herself. She refused to vote for a resolution condemning the anti-Semitic statements of a disciple of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and in fact called on him to help her campaign. In May 2002 McKinney was one of 17 House Democrats who voted against a Resolution (HR 392) expressing support for Israel as it faced terrorist attacks that killed more than 600 civilians. The resolution she opposed stated that, "the United States and Israel are now engaged in a common struggle against terrorism."

She is a fan of racist Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe and thinks his confiscation of white owned property is fair and just.

On a leftwing, Berkeley radio station, McKinney implied that President Bush knew in advance about the September 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon and said that the President let thousands of innocent people die because this would profit the Bush family's wealthy friends. She admits she has no proof but that doesn't prevent her from clinging to this idiotic belief.

Her former campaign donors include Abdurahman Alamoudi, the former executive director of the American Muslim Council and the man who received a 23-year prison term for illegal dealings with Libya that include a role in the planned killing of Saudi Arabian Prince Abdullah.

Is it any wonder that NewsMax reports that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is so mad at McKinney that she's no longer speaking to her? Of course, the reason is not that of any intelligent, sane individual who would want to put some distance between themselves and this congressional ad for a straitjacket. Pelosi fears McKinney's recent assault on a policeman will distract from Republican woes.

To Pelosi's credit though, she has twice turned down McKinney’s request to regain her seniority after she was defeated and then reelected in 2002 and 2004.

The simple fact is that Cynthia McKinney is a victim of her own self importance and it is unfortunate that she can garner enough publicity so that the rest of us have to be exposed to her nonsense.

Hopefully, at some future point in time, her district will regain its dignity and its sanity and dismiss this pernicious bitch to the trash heap where she belongs.
