Mexican President Vicente Fox said Friday he hoped to make progress on immigration issues when he meets with President Bush and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin later this month. Progress ? Millions of illegals being rewarded for breaking our laws is not progress. You, Vincente, paying back the American taxpayer for the costs incurred because of your refusal to reform your peasant punishing political system, that would be progress.
A top priority for Fox is to obtain a U.S. immigration agreement that would give temporary work permits to millions of illegalMexicans living and working in the United States. This is unacceptable. If President Bush tries to sell us out he must be held accountable.
