Return of the Reluctant Bride to Be

A Georgia bride-to-be who vanished just days before her wedding turned up in New Mexico and fabricated a tale of abduction before admitting Saturday that she got cold feet and "needed some time alone," police said.

All I'm going to say is this. Should someone this immature and unbalanced be marrying anyone? Has anyone else noticed her eyes in the pictures? What's with those Felix the Cat eyes?
And I hope she will be billed for the cost of the search.

I'm glad she didn't turn up dead.

Saying that, she needs some type of punishment for lying to authorities saying she was abducted.

I was elated that she didn't end up dead at the hands of her fiance. (my first thought) But I can't understand a woman that age putting her friends and family through this. There are other ways to do this than terrifying a nation and charging the taxpayer.

Thank goodness she's unharmed but now she needs to face the consequences of her actions. She is certainly old enough to know better although she appears to have only one oar in the water. There is more here than meets the eye and I hope there is some investigation into this.
Meanwhile, the taxpayers need to be reimbursed.

I'm wondering how many real crimes didn't get the attention they deserved because the police were out searching for this woman?

Headmistress/zookeeper makes a good point. How many crimes might not have happened we'll never know but 5 days of wasted law enforcement hours at the local, state and federal level surely should not have happened.
