The LA Times has a very important piece about Trypanosoma cruzi, a topic you are probably not familiar with, but definitely need to know about. It is a bloodsucking parasite from Latin America causing a disease called Chagas. It is already a significant threat to blood and organ supplies in the US.
One of the great reasons for controlled immigration is to make sure that we do not allow deadly disease carriers to enter our nation and infect our population.
"The number of [immigrant] Latinos in Southern California, Texas and other parts of the United States are growing, but especially in L.A., a large proportion of organ donors are Latino," said Marek Nowicki, a USC blood-disease expert who studied the effect of Chagas on the Southern California organ supply with the National Institute of Transplantation. "They're basically bringing with them the disease prevalence in the area they used to live."
There are consequences for not securing our borders, but unfortunately we cannot limit them to the traitorous politicians and bleeding heart, open border bozos who have caused this insanity. As always, the suffering wrought by leftwing lunacy falls on the innocent as well as the guilty.
