Bill Maher, The Moral And Mental Wasteland's Poster Boy

Why is it when Ann Coulter calls the ambulance chaser Johnny Edwards a "faggot" it makes the news, but when Bill Maher says it would be better if the Vice President of the US were dead it hardly makes a ripple in the press?

On HBO"Real Time" Maher once again took the opportunity to display his lack of talent as an entertainer and political commentator. He said, speaking of Vice President Cheney,"I’m just saying if he did die, other people, more people would live. That’s a fact."

In his pathetic, smug attempts at humor and insight, Maher has compared retarded children to dogs, called our military cowards and referred to Catholic priests as molestors of young boys or nun rapists. He prides himself on hating the church, but loves organizations like PETA and NORML (he is a member of the advisory board).

Why anyone gives this immature, unsophisticated, fifty year old brat air time is a mystery. His attempts at humor are high schoolish at best and those who encourage him spotlight their own stunted intellectual growth. After listening to him, one needs to have their ears douched.
