How Morally Responsible Is John Edwards?

The John Edwards' site has this quote.

John Edwards' remarks in New Orleans, 1/30:

"I began my presidential campaign here to remind the country that we, as citizens and as a government, have a moral responsibility to each other, and what we do together matters."

Hmmm. Moral responsibility, what we do together matters? Now, there seems to be some question about how morally responsible John really is.

A Beverly Hills hotel security guard has told FOXNews he intervened this week between a man identified as John Edwards and National Enquirer reporters who chased him down following his rendezvous with his mistress and love child.

I guess this will drop him off Obama's VP list, then again maybe not. He would bring some of the Clinton flair to the ticket.
