I'm so confused. Here I thought the American military was in Iraq, fighting and training, but it must not be so. Iraq's Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said the Iraqi government has defeated the terrorists there. "They were intending to besiege Baghdad and control it," al-Maliki said. "But thanks to the will of the tribes, security forces, army and all Iraqis, we defeated them." There you have it, not a mention of or thank you to the American forces that have fought and died liberating this ungrateful bunch.
Now, in their delusional sense of adequacy, they are feeling increasingly confident about the nation's stability. So their new attitude seems to be don't let the door hit you on the way out.
