Come Out, Come Out, Wherever You Are

I wish we'd finally get this piece of human debris and bring his head home on a stick.

Something is going on in Kashmir as US coalition forces in Afghanistan zeroes in on Osama Bin Laden. There are indications that Kashmir militants are getting ready to protect an Islamic stalwart. Some international think tanks now believe that Bin Laden has escaped into porous part of Kashmir especially close to the Line of Control (LOC) where American military or any other forces may not so easily venture.

The zone of “Line of actual control” in Kashmir is very difficult to comp in any military operation. There are increasing activities among the Mujahideen militants to secure some spaces in the Pakistani side of the LOC.

According to some think-tanks, certain portions of Pakistan’s ISI that covertly help the Kashmiri jihadists may be aiding Bin Laden to hide there. Some also believe Bin Laden may be in India.

There are also increasing nervousness of some sorts among Bangladeshi Jihadists in recent days. According to these observations, Bin Laden may have also moved into the deep jungles of the Chitagong Hills.

Two things come to mind here:

1) If Pakistan is REALLY our friend and ally,..they'll give us free range over their side of the LOC

2) India isn't much of a US friend, so I say storm over the LOC in the interest of international security.

I was in India about two years ago and we do have some friends there. I was in Bombay and Pune and was rather impressed by their security. India has its own Muslim problem and there may be a mutual goal we need to pursue. Pakistan, on the other hand, is a Muslim country and I think their allegiance is questionable. Anyway, its a volatile situation on either side.
