Don't Make Me Laugh

If there was any doubt that Pelosi's trip to Syria was a bad idea, it has been put to rest. Jimmy Carter has expressed his support for her and rejected White House criticism of the visit.

"I was glad that she went," Carter said. "When there is a crisis, the best way to help resolve the crisis is to deal with the people who are instrumental in the problem."

Yes, and we all know how well Jimmy Carter deals with a crisis. Jimmy's less than admirable performance during the Iranian hostage situation has gone down in American history as one of the worst leadership failures ever by a president. Fifty two Americans were held by the Islamomaniacs for 444 days and Jimmy failed utterly in bringing the crisis to a close. The willingness of the psycho Persians to still engage in seizing the innocent (British marines) can be traced directly to his ineptitude.

Carter's inability to deal with an economis crisis is legendary. During his presidency, inflation ran rampant, the energy crisis exploded and Carter's performance spiraled downward. From Iran to the attack of the killer bunny, Jimmy has humiliated himself and this nation with astonishing regularity. Voting him out of office has done little to quell his skill at embarassing himself and his country. His love of murdering dictators and barbarian hordes is well documented and at every turn he condemns the land that has long endured his foibles.

It is no wonder he applauds Pelosi and her willingness to embrace the Syrian terrorist Bashar Al-Assad. She is continuing the Carter legacy of losing to evil without putting up a fight.
