Law, Ethics, Leadership, McGreevey Style

Back in October, I wrote a little piece entitled "Commitment Requires Character." It was about James McGreevey, the former New Jersey governor who resigned in disgrace. My main point was, this scumbucket had the nerve to voice an opinion that same sex marriage" would offer the ability to bless our relationship in a committed way." This came from a man who displayed not a hint of moral or ethical integrity.

As I mentioned in October's post, while his divorce was still not finalized, he was living with his lover Mark O'Donnell. Even when his marriage was intact, it didn't prevent him from having affairs. So what happened to his vows to his wife? So much for that commitment and that was his second marriage.

Although he claimed to be a devout Roman Catholic, he remarried without an annulment from his first marriage, is pro abortion and continues to carry on gay affairs. So much for the religious commitment.

He was accused by his homeland security adviser of sexual harassment and of offering money to make the pending lawsuit go away. So much for the oath of office commitment or any vestige of integrity at all.

This is, for want of a more accurate description, a man who has violated every oath and vow he has taken. Yet, guess what! He now has a combination teaching and consulting post at Kean University in Union, New Jersey. His new job will be teaching law, ethics and leadership. Don't laugh, I'm not making this up it's all
here at The Star Ledger. And, we wonder what's wrong with our educational system.

As New Jersey State Republican Chairman Tom Wilson says, "Jim McGreevey teaching law and ethics is a little bit like Doctor Kevorkian teaching health maintenance."

But, as you might expect the leftwing Democrats cannot divorce themselves from any slimeball, no matter how repulsive he might be.

"He has a lot to offer," said Senator Raymond Lesniak (D-Union), a McGreevey confidant. "As governor, he obviously made mistakes along the way. And he knows it. He obviously will talk about how he succeeded and how he was wrong. The guy wasn't a complete failure. I wouldn't mind going to the class myself if I were a student." Can you believe this idiot? McGreevey has a lot to offer in the same way an unfiltered sewer drain has much to offer.

Nancy Pelosi is probably looking for a job for McGreevey in her new honest government at this very moment. Is there not one righteous man or woman left in this pathetic party called the Democrats?
