Gadhafi Makes Al-Qaida's Hit List

You know the times have changed when terrorists are threatening Moammar Gadhafi and accusing him of being an ally of the "Washington crusaders."

In an audio tape called "Unity of the Ranks," Ayman al-Zawahri announced that the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group was joining ranks with al-Qaida.

"The Islamic nation is witnessing a blessed step ... The brothers are escalating the confrontation against the enemies of Islam: Gadhafi and his masters, the Washington crusaders."

For years, the U.S. had regarded Libya as a terrorist sponsor state.Libya even had its own secret nuclear program. But a few years ago, Gadhafi seemed to have a change of heart and the nuclear program was dismantled, Libya reached settlements with the victims of its terrorist airplane bombings and it has been assisting the U.S. in hunting down al-Qaida in the Middle East and North Africa.

I wonder how Gadhafi feels to be on the receiving end of terrorist threats for a change?
