Is it now American policy to stand down from all attackers, armed invaders from Mexico and psychotic Persians in Iraq? God help us if this is so, for our time as free men is short indeed.
What is truly absurd is Mexico wants all these border privileges and no wall or any real security coming north, but wants complete control and security heading south. If we put troops on the border that's not acceptable, but the Mexican army can go where it pleases even on American soil.
Back in February, I wrote a piece, The Steel Sieve Of Security, in which I discussed the abuse of the Fast and Secure Trade program at our border. Well, guess what it's continuing unabated.
From the El Paso Times comes word that the Border Patrol discovered 262 bundles of marijuana in a three-foot deep compartment in the truck of a Mexican driver enrolled in the FAST program. Another 244 bundles was discovered in the truck of a different Mexican driver, also a member of the program. Are we starting to see the picture yet? Someone contact the Mexican attorney general and demand that he explain this absurdity!

Mexico's attorney general is demanding that the US do more to stop guns and drug money from getting into Mexico. Eduardo Medina Mora told a business forum that, ”It’s truly absurd that a person can get together 50 to 100 high powered arms, grenade launchers, fragmentation grenades, and can transport this cargo to our country.”
Of course, what he unintentionally proves is how easy it is to cross back and forth for illegal and even violent purposes. It is easy to move the arms in either direction and the only way to stop it is to secure the border by whatever means necessary. To demand a halt to illegal border business and at the same time protest a wall suggests that the Mexican government is, as usual, blowing smoke. Talk about that absurdity Mr. Mora.
As expected, the mad muslims in Iran are parading out their hostages in direct defiance of international law. The lunatic leaders that run the country are demonstrating to the world why there is no point in negotiation and why pumping some cruise missles into that hell hole is probably the most civilized way of dealing with the prophet's psychotics.
"Using our servicemen in this way for propaganda reasons is outrageous," said a British Foreign Office spokesman, speaking on condition of anonymity in line with department policy. Prime Minister Tony Blair called it "completely wrong -- a disgrace, actually -- when people are used in that way. It's contrary to all international law and convention."
Those statements are all well and good, but it's quickly becoming time for action instead of words. And while we're dealing with Iran let's also take care of planet Rosie who is now saying that the British went into Iranian waters to provoke this incident. Silencing Rosie would significantly reduce carbon emissions, eliminate oxygen waste and beautify the world.

Morons, like Bennie Thompson, a Mississippi Democrat and chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, were more concerned that racial profiling might take place than they were about protecting American citizens performing their civic duties. Go here to see who voted against it, they were all Democrats.

Oh, it's more dangerous for Webb than the rest of us? I doubt that, since he and his cohorts still aren't planning to secure our borders and, in fact, are gleefully plotting to provide amnesty and full American citizenship to the millions of illegal lawbreaking America haters that have invaded our nation. Yet he says there is an agreement, by whom? It must be his cronies in congress because it sure isn't the average guy in the street.
Jim has a gun, but many American citizens have been denied the right to carry one for self protection and had they been guilty of having a friend carry one into a government building for them , I doubt the authorities would be treating them equally under the law. I believe it's important to abide by the law, obviously Jim thinks his perceived needs are more important.
The idiots running our government do not consider themselves average citizens serving the American public, but rather they think they are our superiors, worthy of entitlements the rest of us peons may only envy. Is there any reason we should not drag these egomaniacs out of their offices and administer swift and terrible justice by the people on the spot?

The Guardian reports that things are status quo in Saudi Arabia. At a cultural festival earlier this year, the Saudi ban on female drivers was extended to include golf carts. This took place at the Janadriya Heritage and Cultural Festival , which the Saudis use to promote their hospitality, gentility and cultural diversity. During the first twelve days of the festival men were permitted to use carts. However, the last three days were reserved for women and the carts were withdrawn.
It seems hospitality and gentility still are not extended to females (not to mention Jewish reporters) in the kingdom of Mohammed's bobbleheads. Primitive is too kind of a word to describe these neanderthals.
It took Yemeni troops with tanks and armored vehicles to subdue the prophet's psychotics and restore peace.

By way of Power Line, I bring you Meet John Doe. The lawsuit filed by the flying islamomanical imams names a number of "John Doe" defendants. These are unidentified passengers who voiced their concerns with the flight staff of US Airways. The CAIR supported clerics are crying discrimination against the John Doe defendants. Power Line suggests that the flying imams may give rise to a new "John Doe Movement,"the kind portrayed in the Frank Capra film "Meet John Doe. "
We all need to step up (see some other supporters at Michelle Malkin) and show these Koranic kooks that we will not allow them to use the US legal system to terrorize civic minded American citizens. The Washington Times reports that House Republicans are already pushing legislation to protect airline passengers from lawsuits for reporting suspicious behavior that might be linked to a terrorist attack.
Make yourself heard and stand with the John Does of America.

The government because of its "can't do" attitude, will tell you it's impossible to prosecute every illegal because there are too many. Why are there too many? Because, the government refuses to secure the border. And so on it goes, the neverending story of our inept leadership equally distributed across party lines. They will not enforce our laws against illegals and the traitorous Americans who smuggle, house and hire them.

Playing the role of the typical liberal hypocrite, Al Gore refused to take a "Personal Energy Ethics Pledge" to consume no more energy than the average American household.
According to NewsMax, The pledge was presented to Gore by Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), Ranking Member of the Environment and Public Works Committee, during the global warming hearing. Gore's electricity usage is reportedly 20 times higher than the average American household.
One would think he would apply his chicken little lunacy to himself first before asking others less affluent to sacrifice...but noooooo! Gore's fantasy film,"An Inconvenient Truth", has the nerve to ask others "Are you ready to change the way you live?" while obviously Global Al is not.

Shrillary Clinton is almost right about something. There is a vast conspiracy, but it's not right wing, it's Clintonista.
Last week her minions sent out a mass e-mail asking supporters to sign a petition calling for Attorney General Alberto Gonzales to resign. Now one of her chief demons, Patti Solis Doyle, has a new e-mail. You can almost hear the crone-like cackles in this one. "Let’s keep the pressure on. Since tens of thousands of you joined Hillary in calling for Attorney General Alberto Gonzales to resign, we have learned even more about the political motivations behind the firings of several U.S. attorneys.
We know now that the White House’s involvement goes even deeper than we thought – all the way to Karl Rove and beyond – and we likely won’t find out the whole story until there is a full Congressional investigation. But one thing is still clear: Alberto Gonzales needs to go.”
All this evil brought to you by the Hillary Clinton for President Exploratory Committee.

Californians may soon be reaping the results of another Mexican invasion, the only difference being, this one will be legal.
The state's Air Resources Board just released a report stating that 50 tons of new smog (equivalent to that produced by 2.2 million cars) will be pouring from 17,500 Mexican trucks crossing into the state each day thanks to the Bush administration and NAFTA.
Does Al Gore know about this? How can our environmental police allow this to happen especially in the liberal la la land of California? Why would we allow foreign trucks, the majority of which were built before 1993, to pollute a state where it is increasingly difficult for Americans to light up a cigarette and where soon they will be told what kind of lightbulb to use?
Once again, the government is showing its total failure to take care of its citizens.

Asked about the alert notice, the FBI's Rich Kolko said "there are no threats, no plots and no history leading us to believe there is any reason for concern."
What? Why would foreigners with "ties to extremist groups" be buying school buses? Are they using them to take the terrorist cell on field trips? Why isn't this a cause for concern or will it only become one after a busload of children are kidnapped or worse?
Remember how easily three men pulled off the Chowchilla school bus kidnapping in 1976? Why should we not be concerned about foreign extremists with school buses or even just CDLs? Why are we more worried about foreigners' sensitivities than American security? How long will we allow the inept egomaniacs in Washington to continue to endanger us all?

The LA Times has a very important piece about Trypanosoma cruzi, a topic you are probably not familiar with, but definitely need to know about. It is a bloodsucking parasite from Latin America causing a disease called Chagas. It is already a significant threat to blood and organ supplies in the US.
One of the great reasons for controlled immigration is to make sure that we do not allow deadly disease carriers to enter our nation and infect our population.
"The number of [immigrant] Latinos in Southern California, Texas and other parts of the United States are growing, but especially in L.A., a large proportion of organ donors are Latino," said Marek Nowicki, a USC blood-disease expert who studied the effect of Chagas on the Southern California organ supply with the National Institute of Transplantation. "They're basically bringing with them the disease prevalence in the area they used to live."
There are consequences for not securing our borders, but unfortunately we cannot limit them to the traitorous politicians and bleeding heart, open border bozos who have caused this insanity. As always, the suffering wrought by leftwing lunacy falls on the innocent as well as the guilty.

CNS tells us that Representative Don Manzullo (R-Ill.) has called legislation to make Americans switch from traditional incandescent light bulbs to compact fluorescent technology and more energy efficient lighting, a "last choice."
"The last thing we want to do is force legislation down people's throats," Manzullo said. But he said the goal to "greatly reduce the amount of electricity that lighting consumes" may require legislation to serve as a "focal point that you look at to try to move the country forward."
"There may be legislation that would pass under unanimous consent of both houses if it's done right," he said. "That's what I would like to see done."
Isn't that incredible? Years after the terrorist attack killing thousands in NYC, Republicans and Democrats are playing politics with our lives and property, but think it's good government to concern themselves with which form of lighting we will be forced to use.
It would be interesting to know how many of them have received donations, junkets and other favors from companies like Philips.

Of course, CAIR and their kind are trying to twist this into some kind of discrimination issue. They have already demanded a congressional hearing about ethnic and religious profiling at airports. All they will accomplish is antagonizing an America that's fed up with those who will not get with the program of ridding the world of the prophet's psychotics. If you are not part of the solution, you are the problem. And that case is closed.

Almost a month ago, I wrote about Mexico complaining regarding a US border violation. Now, once again, they are sending nasty notes. This time they are objecting to U.S. Border Patrol agents in Arizona trying to extinguish a fire that was spreading from the US into Mexico. The agents immediately returned to our side of the border as soon as the fire was out.
"The Foreign Relations Department has expressed to the U.S. Embassy via a diplomatic note, its rejection of the incursion," the Mexican government said. "While the department recognizes that the incursion may have been a response to an attempt to deal with an emergency, as the U.S. Embassy states, it has reiterated ... that even during emergency situations, it is required, without exception, to immediately notify the Mexican authorities."
Our government, of course, will give its usual castrated response of apologies instead of reading the riot act to our out of control neighbors. The next time they have an emergency we should make sure that our response time is appropriately delayed while we check and double check to make sure protocol has been properly addressed.

• Restrict the use of artery-clogging trans fat, common in fried and baked foods and linked to heart disease, in restaurants and school cafeterias.
• Bar smoking at state parks and beaches, and in cars carrying children.
• Open a savings account, seeded with $500, for every newborn Californian to use at 18 for college, a first home purchase or an investment for retirement.
• Fine dog and cat owners who don't spay or neuter their pets by 4 months of age.
• Require chain restaurants to list calorie, saturated fat and sodium content on menus.
• Phase out the sale of incandescent light bulbs, which are less energy-efficient than compact fluorescent bulbs.
The proposals are the brainchildren of Democratic legislators. Republicans, who say the sponsors are trying to parent the whole state, are having none of it.
"Could you imagine the founding fathers dealing with — I don't know — wearing a helmet when you're in the buggy?" said the Assembly's Republican leader, Mike Villines of Clovis.
"We all know you can't mandate behavior; it just does not work," he said. "It creates criminals of people for things that are not criminal behavior…. You can't legislate for stupidity."
Political scientists say legislative paternalism can be taken as a sign of economic success. It's "post materialist," said Bruce Cain, director of the Institute of Governmental Studies at UC Berkeley, because such measures are about quality of life, not survival. Nota bene, this comes from Berkeley, California's Bedlam.
"These post-materialist concerns may be ahead of the curve," Cain said. "Some of the things we did that seemed kooky 20 years ago are now widely accepted."
Just because their widely accepted in places like Berkeley, does not mean they aren't still kooky. Berkeley and kooky are synonyms.
It's incredible that when it comes to protecting the public from terrorism, the liberals are the first to begin whining about the erosion of rights to privacy and freedom. Yet, to further their agenda they will intrude into what you eat, check your dog's genitals, watch to see who is in your car, if they're smoking, what kind of lightbulbs you have in your home etc. etc. etc. They have determined that the lifestyle you choose will be defined by them and that is vastly more important than protecting your life from their fellow lunatics worldwide.
A search of Ahmad's computers, revealed files containing classified information about the positions of US Navy ships and their susceptibility to attack. He had exchanged e-mails with Ahmad while on active duty on the USS Benfold, a guided-missile destroyer. In those e-mails, Abujihaad discussed naval military briefings and praised those who attacked the US Cole.
There is also a connection between this islamomaniac and Derrick Shareef who was arrested and accused of planning to use hand grenades to attack holiday shoppers at a mall.

The Ninth Circus Court of Appeals is at it again. In another fit of joke jurisprudence, it has concluded that municipal employers have the right to censor the words "natural family," "marriage" and "family values" because that is hate speech and could scare workers.
The decision of the dolts was handed down in a dispute over the promotion of the homosexual lifestyle within the city offices of Oakland. Northern California strikes again.
It found that municipalities have a right to dictate what form an employee's speech may take, even if it is in regard to controversial public issues. Heaven forbid we would protect free speech when the jester judges disapprove.
"Public employees are permitted to curtail employee speech as long as their 'legitimate administrative interests' outweigh the employee's interest in freedom of speech," said the court's opinion by judges B. Fletcher, Clifton and Ikuta, who noted that their writings are "not appropriate for publication."
"The district court appropriately described [the Christians' speech rights] as 'vanishingly small,'" the opinion continued.
However, as the Pro-Family Law Center noted, the court "completely failed to address the concerns of the appellants with respect to the fact that the City of Oakland's Gay-Straight Employees Alliance was openly allowed to attack the Bible in widespread city e-mails, to deride Christian values as antiquated, and to refer to Bible-believing Christians as hateful. When the plaintiffs attempted to refute this blatant attack on people of faith, they were threatened with immediate termination by the City of Oakland. The Ninth Circuit did not feel that the threat of immediate termination had any effect on free speech."
The Pro-Family Law Center plans an appeal and will take the case all the way to the Supreme Court. They have a good chance of success since the decisions of the Ninth Circus have been skipped over more times than a crosswalk in San Francisco.

During yesterday's hearing, Taheri-azar yelled "death to America" as he entered the courtroom. "I hate all Americans, all Jews. May they all burn in hell. Death to Israel."
When the judge warned Taheri-azar to be quiet during the proceedings, Taheri-azar turned to his lawyer and said, "I don't know this moron." The judge had him removed.
The lawyer, James Williams, offered, "He does have a severe mental illness and that mental illness affects his actions and I believe affected his actions on the day in question and still affects his behavior and was affecting his behavior in court today."
We know all about his mental illness, James, it's called sudden jihad syndrome and it needs to be treated with shock and awe therapy.
I like this blurb. US-VISIT is helping us demonstrate that we remain a welcoming nation and that we can keep America’s doors open and our nation secure.
If you leave the door to your house not just unlocked, but open, are you secure? Would you feel secure? This is just more government doublespeak to really say we haven't done a thing to improve border security nor do we intend to do anything. We will not build a wall even though the American people want it. The illegals are against it and since we are planning to give them amnesty anyway the more we let in the better.
The truth is America is a welcoming nation, but just as when you visit anyone's home you must abide by her rules and customs if you want to remain welcome. The next time you're invited to someone's house, upon entering, begin telling them all the things they need to change because you're there. Don't forget to include comments about why your home is so much better and how you can't wait to go back there. See how soon you're invited to return.

Why is it when Ann Coulter calls the ambulance chaser Johnny Edwards a "faggot" it makes the news, but when Bill Maher says it would be better if the Vice President of the US were dead it hardly makes a ripple in the press?
On HBO"Real Time" Maher once again took the opportunity to display his lack of talent as an entertainer and political commentator. He said, speaking of Vice President Cheney,"I’m just saying if he did die, other people, more people would live. That’s a fact."
In his pathetic, smug attempts at humor and insight, Maher has compared retarded children to dogs, called our military cowards and referred to Catholic priests as molestors of young boys or nun rapists. He prides himself on hating the church, but loves organizations like PETA and NORML (he is a member of the advisory board).
Why anyone gives this immature, unsophisticated, fifty year old brat air time is a mystery. His attempts at humor are high schoolish at best and those who encourage him spotlight their own stunted intellectual growth. After listening to him, one needs to have their ears douched.

If you haven't heard of "Book it," it's a reading incentive program sponsored by Pizza Hut. My daughters participated in it when they were in elementary school and enjoyed it thoroughly.
Now, we have some self-appointed education commissar, a Harvard psychologist, Susan Linn saying that it "epitomizes everything that's wrong with corporate-sponsored programs in school. In the name of education, it promotes junk food consumption to a captive audience ... and undermines parents by positioning family visits to Pizza Hut as an integral component of raising literate children."
What a load of malarkey. Eating an individual personal pan pizza, one of the rewards for completing books, is not going to destroy the free world. My older daughter loved to get a pizza with anchovies which absolutely floored the waitresses. Neither she nor her family were held captive by this program and neither my wife nor I felt undermined as parental units (thank you, coneheads). Despite this corporate conspiracy by Pizza Hut, my children are both avid readers and physically fit.
People like Linn are a threat to the very joy of life and those moments of wild abandon when we consume mass quantities (thanks again, coneheads) of pizza, ice cream and the like. Yes, moderation in all things...including moderation.
Thank you, Pizza Hut, for making my childrens' education a little more fun for our family and someone send Susan Linn a meatlover's special. She needs it!

The House Democrat caucus has approved Pelosi's next "good government" pick. This time it's William Jefferson's appointment to the Homeland Security Committee. This is the same guy who was booted from the House Ways and Means Committee after federal prosecutors alleged he had taken $90,000 in cash in a bribery sting and stashed it in his freezer.
It wasn't long ago that Nancy said, "There is no question that the ethics process in the past couple of years has lost the confidence of the American people." And, "I honestly believe that you cannot advance the people's agenda unless you drain the swamp that is Washington." She didn't tell us that she was draining the swamp to locate the most heinous and repulsive of its denizens in order to place them on important committees.
The ranking Republican on the Homeland Security Committee, Rep. Peter King of New York, said Pelosi's selection of Jefferson sent "a terrible message." That, Mr. King is what's known as an understatement.
