Tony, The Snowman

Another exchange between Tony Snowman and WorldNetDaily!

WND: "Would the president make border security a higher priority if he were convinced it was being used as an entry point by terrorists like those who are part of Hezbollah and al-Qaida?"

Snow: "Think of it this way. The president committed as much money to the borders already as the House of Representatives was planning on doing in five years. So, he was serious before – he's perfectly cognizant of the possibility there may be terrorists crossing over. We have intelligence assets deployed in the area, and so he's not going to be anymore concerned because he's already very concerned about it."

Think of it this way, Tony. Every day murderers, child molesters, rapists and other criminals cross our borders at will. If we have intelligence assets of any consequence deployed, why are we not apprehending these people? Or, are you trying to say our intelligence assets are so sophisticated that they only hone in on terrorists to the exclusion of all others? Please!

Being perfectly cognizant does not secure our borders nor protect the sovereignty of our nation. This administration and previous ones have all been perfectly cognizant of the problem and have chosen to do nothing except meaningless maneuverings like the token use of the National Guard. Rather than offend unreasonable foreign governments, our president and the senate have chosen to keep Americans vulnerable to the very real threat of terrorist strikes. I do not see that as being very concerned, Tony, no matter how you try to spin it.
