Morissette is now a US citizen. There goes the neighborhood. Why do we allow people to become American citizens without renouncing their current citizenship?
Why do we want people with divided loyalty?
"I will never renounce my Canadian citizenship," Morissette said in a statement Wednesday. "I consider myself a Canadian-American.
That's just what we need, more hyphenated Americans. We continue to destroy ourselves from the inside out.
