Blogging will be little and late here today as I have errands to run, appointments to keep and miles to go before I sleep. However, may I just mention the good news that the government has actually done its job and deported the brazen illegal, Elvira Arellano.
For reasons known only to God, the federal authorities allowed this woman to flaunt breaking our laws by refusing to arrest her at the church in Chicago where she had taken up residence.
"We are sad, but at the same time we are angry," said Javier Rodriguez, a Chicago immigration activist who worked with Arellano. "How dare they arrest this woman?"
Too bad Javier, get used to it.
