Who Will Bush Choose?

There is speculation that Michael Chertoff, the Secretary of Homeland Security, will be named to replace Alberto Gonzales. I doubt that will happen, but one can never underestimate the ability of this administration to make poor choices.

Michael Chertoff does not believe in enforcing our immigration laws and doesn't even think we can control our borders. It's bad enough to have this guy in charge of our security, but to make him the chief law enforcement officer of our nation is an outright insult. It is doubtful, however, that Bush will be able to get anyone of value to help man his sinking ship.
