The Wolf Cometh

Barack Obama is circulating a flyer in Kentucky that features the cross. What will the left have to say about this? Oh, that's right Barack is half black so it's ok. Everything he does is ok and if we don't vote for him it's because we're racist.

The flyer is titled: Faith. Hope. Change. It talks about how Obama accepted Jesus Christ into his life. The best part is it has a quote from Obama, "my faith teaches me that I can sit in church and pray all I want, but I won't be fulfilling God's will unless I go out and do the Lord's work." Which reminded me,“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.” Mathew 7:15

How convenient that Obama will use the name of the Lord to further his cause. I wonder if the Lord's work includes voting for laws to kill new life by abortion? There's a question you won't hear from the media.

Matthew 7:21-29

21 "Not every one who says to me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, `Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' 23 And then will I declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers.' "

Real Wienership For America

Barack Obama has given warning! If elected president, he is threatening our enemies with "tough diplomacy." He will give a stern talking to the leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela and North Korea. This, he said, will be done "without preconditions, although with preparation, and I will present to them very clearly what my expectations would be in terms of them changing their behavior."

They're probably already trembling in anticipation of this dreaded dress down by the bad Barack.

Is this clown for real? Is anyone, including him, listening to what he is actually saying? If this is our next president there is no imagining how bad things are really going to get.

Peggy's Pity Party

If you want to get an idea how bad things are going to be for the GOP in November, go here and read Peggy Noonan's Pity Party column in the Wall Street Journal.

She says the Republicans are "busy dying." I disagree. I think they're already dead and we're just beginning to smell the aroma.

The GOP has no candidates, no platform, no plan and no clue. Their karma has run over their dogma. Goodnight John boy!

The Bill Clinton Lack Of Character Award Goes To

I have written before about former New Jersey Governor James McGreevey. You remember him, he announced he was gay and resigned from office only when he was about to be outed anyway.

Now, he is trying
to convince the judge in his divorce case that he's too poor to pay alimony. He claims he's been financially crippled by his resignation and marital troubles. Let's see, who is at fault for his marital troubles and having to resign from office? Why it's the gay guv himself. But, in the world of McGreevy he's never at fault.

Don't forget this was the same guy who came out in support of same sex marriage by saying, it " would offer the ability to bless our relationship in a committed way." Does McGreevey understand anything about commitment? No!

While his divorce was still not finalized, he was living with his lover Mark O'Donnell. Even when his marriage was intact, it didn't prevent him from having affairs. Although he claimed to be a devout Roman Catholic, he remarried without an annulment from his first marriage, is pro abortion and continues to carry on gay affairs. He was accused by his homeland security adviser of sexual harassment and of offering money to make the pending lawsuit go away. He openly admits he has not paid his first ex-wife any child support this year even though he earned $429,000 in 2006 and $185,000 last year. Yes folks, this gay scumbucket was married twice and has a child by each wife. What a guy!

So much for his commitment to his spouse, his faith and his office. McGreevy is committed to McGreevey and nothing else. Yet, Kean University in Union, New Jersey offered him a job teaching law, ethics and leadership and now he is an Episcopal seminary student. Why you would open these doors to a man who has not an iota of integrity is enough to fill many more posts than this.

The courts should make this piece of human debris at least accept reponsibility for the financial welfare of his children. He has nothing else to offer.

West Virginia, Obama's Waterloo?

Hillary has buried Obama in West Virginia. If nothing else this highlights Barack's weakness with certain segments of America. Only 25 percent of Clinton backers say they'd be satisfied if Barack Obama was the nominee and only 38 percent of Clinton's voters said they would vote for Obama in a general election matchup against John McCain.

In West Virginia, Clinton won among men and women. She carried a majority of voters in every age group. She captured liberals, moderates, and conservatives. She took a majority in every income bracket. This should may bells and whistles go off among the super delegates. However, politicians on both sides are notorious for hearing only what supports their agenda (read bs).

Obama will probably get the nomination, but it may well cost the Democrats the election.

McVeep?

In the last three days, I have heard three names mentioned as good possibilities for John McCain's VP slot. First it was Mitt Romney and now it's Condoleezza Rice or Mike Huckabee.

I prefer Romney or Rice. Huckabee would make the ticket less palatable as far as I'm concerned.

Anyway, for what it's worth WND is reporting that a Palestinian official said, "We were told by U.S. politicians there is a good possibility we may still be dealing with Rice in the future, but this time as vice president."

Meanwhile, U.S. News and World Report quoted a top McCain fundraiser stating former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee tops McCain's vice presidential list.

The way things usually work, the choice will probably be some young governor unfamiliar to most people.

Hugo Revives His Clown Act

If it isn't monkey boy Mahmoud Ahmadinejad or ding dong Jong-Il then its Hugo the Marx brother Chavez. This time he's ranting that Germany's chancellor, Angela Merkel, shares the political ideals of Adolf Hitler.

Hugo criticized Merkel for belonging to the conservative Christian Democratic Union, calling the movement "the same right wing that supported Hitler and fascism."

He was on the verge of launching more insults at Merkel, but suddenly stopped short.

"Ms. Chancellor, you can go to ..." he said during his weekly television and radio program, before pausing. Then he added: "Because you are a lady, I won't say any more."

As if Hugo would know a lady or a gentleman if he fell over one. Hugo just can't shake his roots as an uncouth lower class thug. He reminds me of a Khrushchev with less refinement.

Barack Loses Bearings.

Please visit my friend, Trek Medic, over at "Is This Life?" and check out this clip of Obama adding states to our union. This guy has the nerve to suggest that McCain has lost his bearings?

Perhaps Barack should become better acquainted with the land he claims to love so much.

America Fails To Support Freedom Of The Press

The American press is being rightly criticized by the Danish newspaper editor who published the cartoons of Mohammed. He accuses them of undermining free speech by failing to republish the cartoons when the issue prompted riots in Muslim countries two years ago.

Flemming Rose said, "Europe has usually been criticized for being politically correct and on the defense when it comes to Islam, but more European newspapers published the cartoons,” he said. “We might not have had the kind of ongoing crisis if more newspapers around the world would have published the cartoons at the same time because by doing so you would have drawn a clear line. ... Instead, it was pretty unclear what people in liberal democracies thought of this issue.”

Where is John Peter Zenger when you need him?

Meanwhile, before he spoke, a handful of ignorant Muslim students protested. One carried a sign saying, “Hate Speech Cannot Be Free Speech.” Of course, they would like to be the ones to decide what is hate speech and what is not. Idiots!

Business As Usual

Steve McCraw, who works as the State Director for the Department of Homeland Security, says that "Al-Qaida has discussed, has considered, is still considering leveraging the southwest border of the U.S. as an entry point for operatives."

In the last two years, 497 illegal aliens of concern were arrested crossing the Texas-Mexico border. They were from special interest countries such as Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Jordan.

McCraw tells us, "Those countries are defined and listed by the State Department, and they have an international terrorism nexus that could be Al Qaida, could be Hamas, Hezbollah or violent terrorism organizations."

He adds those violent militant groups could be teaming up with the dangerous drug cartels and numerous human smuggling organizations.

"What they're going to try to use is those crime organizations to facilitate the movement of themselves or commodities to cross the border into the U.S. undetected," explains the state director.

Meanwhile, gunmen assassinated a commander of Mexico City's anti-kidnapping police Friday, the fourth top police authority slain in 10 days here as the toll from a rising organized crime wave hits top brass. This is only one day after acting federal police chief Edgar Millan was brutally murdered.

However, not one of our candidates for the presidency seems terribly concerned about what is going on in the run down house next door. It's just business as usual for these politicians. God help us.

Define Wonderful

Obama has had to move from defending Jeremiah Wright to distancing himself from Jeremiah Wright. First he accused everyone of listening only to snippets of sermons, but then his spiritual advisor erased all doubts by his outrageous behavior before the National Press Club.

Still, Obama proclaims his loyalty to the United Church of Christ in Chicago. It seems not to matter that the new senior pastor Otis Moss is merely another tired old version of Jeremiah Wright. It also seems not to matter that the church itself sees fit to put in its bulletin messages like these.

In the April 15, 2007 church bulletin Reginald Williams, the associate pastor for social justice at Trinity United, said he was not surprised by the racially charged remarks that talk-radio host Don Imus made about the Rutgers University women's basketball team because "the major networks are run by right-winged conservatives who still see black people as subhuman and portray black people as such."

In the April 22, 2007 church bulletin Williams also called for shutting down the Pentagon's WHINSEC School of the Americas, saying the school "in no uncertain terms trains Latin American soldiers in counterinsurgency, sniper training, commando and psychological warfare, military intelligence and interrogation. In short, the United States Army trains students at this school of terrorism."

Yet on Sunday, May 4, Obama told NBC's Tim Russert, on "Meet the Press," that he was still a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and said of the Wright controversy, "I think that the American people understand that when I joined Trinity United Church of Christ, I was committing not to Pastor Wright. I was committing to a church and I was committing to Christ. And it is a wonderful church."

How long before Barack will have to deny knowing what was going on at his church?

Rush Wants Barack

Rush Limbaugh said Wednesday it's Barack Obama who he really wants to be the party's nominee.

"I now believe he would be the weakest of the Democrat nominees," Limbaugh said on his program. "I now urge the Democrat delegates to make your mind up and publicly go for Obama."

"Barack Obama has shown he cannot get the votes Democrats need to win – blue-collar, working class people," Limbaugh also said। "He can get effete snobs, he can get wealthy academics, he can get the young, and he can get the black vote, but Democrats do not win with that."

Here's a hilarious side note, John Kerry credited Clinton's win in Indiana entirely to Limbaugh. Kerry is so desperate to be back in the limelight, he will say or do anything to get attention. What a buffoon.

GOP Suicidal

Republican leadership, and I use that term loosely, just refuses to listen. In a piece published in Human Events, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, warned that they face “real disaster” on Election Day unless they move immediately to “chart a bold course of real reform” for the country. And in a closed-door session at the Capitol, National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Tom Cole told members that the NRCC doesn’t have enough cash to “save them” in November if they don’t raise enough money or run strong campaigns themselves.

They don't have enough cash because people like me are not going to keep putting money in the vending machine and get nothing in return. When you offer candidates like John McCain who leaves us losing no matter how we vote, why would we give you money?

But, as usual the GOP won't listen. One top House Republican dismissed Gingrich’s broadside as “hype from a has-been who desperately wants to be a player but can’t anymore.” That's the kind of attitude that is helping to flush the Republican party down the political toilet. Just like McCain's stubbornness regarding illegals and his support for amnesty came with a sneering disdain for the average American citizen, so too the rest of the leadership seems to be hell bent on political suicide.

So, in November it looks like we will be faced with choosing between two elitists, neither of whom wants to serve the American people, but rather tell us what's good for us.

Will Today Decide It?

It's Tuesday and what could be the final round of the Clinton Obama slap fest may be at hand. Primary results in Indiana and North Carolina could change or end this race.

Hillary needs to win and win big. A win by Obama could close the deal for him. Any predictions?

Either way, it will be most interesting to see what happens.

Border Patrol Acts As Free Taxi Service

Here's an interesting little service the American taxpayer is providing according to Newsmax.

Josefa Gonzalez Loya has sneaked across the Mexican border at least 128 times in the past eight years. And each time, the Border Patrol has been nice enough to give her a lift home.

Gonzalez and a group of other women and children _ all Indians from the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca _ have no interest in staying in the United States. All they want to do is panhandle outside El Paso businesses, using the children as lures.

At the end of a productive day, they wait for the Border Patrol to come pick them up and drive them back to the border.

Gonzalez has been arrested 128 times. Despite a crackdown on illegal immigration along much of the border, she and most of her tribal members have never been jailed.

Isn't it nice of the US taxpayer to provide this taxi service?

The Wright Sharpton Legacy

At a Brooklyn, New York elementary school gang graffiti is showing up on the playground, in classrooms and on teachers' cars. The words "Jump White People" and "JWP" have appeared at the school more than a dozen times in the last three weeks.

"It just quietly gets erased," one teacher said. "Nothing gets done."

Four students ranging in age from 8 to 11 were disciplined. Where do these children get such ideas?

This kind of behavior is abetted by the hate filled rhetoric of the Al Sharptons and the Jeremiah Wrights.

Why then did Barack Obama expose his children to the messages of bitterness, anger and revenge espoused by such a man?

Barack's Fallen Away Catholic Advisors

Obama just keeps screwing up when it comes to making choices in religious advisors. He says he was "deeply honored to have the support and counsel" of all 26 members of his Catholic National Advisory Council, whom he called "committed Catholic leaders, scholars and advocates."

Yet, Catholic League president Bill Donohue says he should dump them. You see, there is not one who agrees with the Catholic Church on all three major public policy issues. Those who defy the Catholic Church on two of these issues, abortion and embryonic stem cell research are forbidden to receive Communion as long as they continue to back those procedures, effectively excommunicating themselves.

That Barack, he really knows how to pick 'em.

Barack's Bad Choices

Otis Moss, the replacement for Jermiah Wright at the Trinity United Church of Christ, has been described by BarackObama as a "wonderful young pastor." Is he much different from Wright?

From the pulpit he defends his congregation and Wright.

"We have listened and watched as the wonderful work of our church has been vilified this week," he told about 3,000 congregants on Palm Sunday morning. "This week should be special for us because I guess we know a little something about crucifixion."

If only these guys would learn something from the crucifixion of Christ. "Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing."

If this is Obama's idea of a wonderful young pastor and if this is how he makes his choices, then surely he cannot be trusted to appoint a cabinet, pick advisors and nominate justices.

Enforce The Law?

Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning is making some people angry. Good for him.

"I'm not going to use taxpayer dollars to file lawsuits for illegal aliens," said Bruning after learning a couple in the U.S. illegally was bringing a case to his office. "You're not going to get a free lawyer" from his office, he said, "if you're not a citizen of this country."

This has ticked off idiots like Raul Gonzalez, legislative director of the National Council of La Raza, who said Bruning's interpretation would allow people to "run wild over immigrants." No, Raul, not immigrants, illegals. There is a difference.

Ron Haskins, a former welfare adviser to President Bush who worked on the 1996 welfare overhaul as a congressional staff director, said the welfare reform law was meant to deny legal services to illegal immigrants.

But it is appropriate to spend public money on issues that "advance the interests of society," he said.

"If I was a citizen of the state," he said when told about Bruning's position, "I'd think, what's in the interests of the community?"

"Even if a person is here illegally, we should enforce the law."

If we were enforcing the law the illegals wouldn't be here. By all means enforce the law, beginning with the ones on immigration.

Barbie Invades Iran

Iranian Prosecutor General Ghorban Ali Dori Najafabadi in an official letter to Vice President Parviz Davoudi warned about the "destructive" cultural and social consequences of importing Barbie dolls and other Western toys. He called for a crackdown on the smuggling of these toys which threatens Iranian culture.

These guys live in perpetual fear of freedom. No wonder they cannot be reasoned with, they are completely insane. Only one culture will survive this war and it will not be the one advocating a burkha for Barbie.

Napolitano Plays Politics As Usual

The governor of Arizona, Janet Napolitano has vetoed legislation that requires police departments to crack down on illegal immigration. She claims it's because the law isn't really necessary and it might be an $100 million hit on Arizona’s finances.

Her real reason for the veto is catering to her radical supporters and the liberal lunatics that would like to open up the borders to everyone. Her dream is to become part of an Obama presidency. Once she believed he would get the nomination she threw herself on the Barack bandwagon. She may yet regret tossing Hillary in the weeds. Napolitano is a political opportunist who will sacrifice anything including America's sovereignty and security for her own personal political aggrandizement.

Clinging To Religion

Obama described bitter people clinging to religion. I think we all know why he relates bitterness with religion, just listen to the "Rev."

He says, the black church tradition is not bombastic or controversial, but different and misunderstood by the "dominant culture" in the United States. I always thought the church belonged to Christ...doesn't Wright speak at the Trinity United Church of Christ. Yet, he rails against attacks on the "black church." Jesus has one church and it's neither black nor white.

Using the pulpit for voicing personal grievances under the guise of the gospel of Christ is an abuse of the pastor's position. And although he admits "I'm still going to have to be answerable to God on November 5 and January 21," one must wonder if Jeremiah Wright truly understands the significance of those words.

James 3:1 Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness.

First Pelosi, Chapter One, Verse One

For those of you who like scripture to conform to what you believe instead of the other way around, please open your Democrat bibles to chapter one, verse one in the Book of First Pelosi.

It is reported that Nancy Pelosi is fond of quoting a particular passage of Scripture. The quote, however, does not appear in the Bible and is "fictional," according to biblical scholars.

In her April 22 Earth Day news release, Pelosi said, "The Bible tells us in the Old Testament, 'To minister to the needs of God's creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us.' On this Earth Day, and every day, let us pledge to our children, and our children's children, that they will have clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, and the opportunity to experience the wonders of nature."

Cybercast News Service repeatedly queried the speaker's office for two days to determine where the alleged Bible quote is found. Thus far, no one has responded and they probably won't because "It is not in the Bible," says Claude Mariottini, a professor of Old Testament at Northern Baptist Theological Seminary. "There is nothing that even approximates that."

John J. Collins, the Holmes professor of Old Testament criticism and interpretation at Yale Divinity School, said he is totally unfamiliar with Pelosi's quotation.

"(It's) not one that I recognize," Collins told Cybercast News Service. "I assume that she means this is a paraphrase. But it wouldn't be a close paraphrase to anything I know of."

"The quote does not exist in the Old Testament, neither in the New Testament," said the Rev. Andreas Hock, a doctor of Scripture who teaches in the Roman Catholic archdiocese of Denver's St. John Vianney Seminary.

"Even in pieces or bits, (it) cannot be found in the Old Testament," he added.

Pelosi has quoted this fake piece of scripture many times before.

Yet, the Democrats wonder why religious people doubt their sincerity and integrity when they speak of faith. They cannot understand why people question the beliefs of someone who would sit under under a pastor preaching bitterness and hate instead of grace and forgiveness. They think by reading polls, they will learn religion.

Barack's Racist Support

Barack Obama’s campaign manager David Plouffe says racists are probably going to vote for John McCain in November if Obama is the Democratic presidential nominee.

If racists are voting for John McCain then Obama will lose much of his support.

Asked by National Journal’s Linda Douglas if race was going to be a problem for Obama in the general election, Plouffe said:

“We really don't think so. I mean the vast, vast majority of voters who would not vote for Barack Obama in November based on race are probably firmly in John McCain's camp already.”

What about all those racists who are voting for OBama based on his race? What does Plouffe have to say about that? For someone who was going to transcend race, Barack and his minions have certainly been a lesson in hypocrisy.

We Don't Need No Stinking BlackBerries

A Mexican press attache was caught on camera by the Secret Service stealing White House BlackBerries during a recent meeting in New Orleans, FOX News reports.

The thief made it all the way to the airport, where the Mexican president was preparing to leave and was made to return the devices. Here's the best part, he claimed he took them accidentally.

This criminal is not being charged and was allowed to return to Mexico. However an American soldier who accidentally crossed over into Mexico with firearms in his car is still being held there. You figure it out.

Do As I Say, Not As I Do

Virtual Fence Catches Virtually No One

Our incompetent government has done exactly what I said they would, wasting $20 million on a "virtual fence" that is now being scrapped because it can't do what needs to be done.

Just two months ago Homeland Security's chief nimrod, Michael Chertoff, gave his stamp of approval to the fence built by Boeing. Less than a week later, the GAO told Congress it "did not fully meet user needs and the project's design will not be used as the basis for future" developments.

The Border Patrol had little input in designing the prototype. No surprise then that it didn't meet their needs.

As the pages fly of the calendar, seasons change and new years come and go, the government continues to do nothing of any consequence to protect our borders and guarantee the security of America's citizens. And, not one presidential candidate from either party cares enough to address the problem unless it means amnesty for illegals and open borders to the world. How sad for us all and our great nation.

A Brief History Of Cranks And Weirdos

At George Washington University Monday, Stephen Hawking called for a renewed commitment to space exploration. His logic is that “we don’t appear to have been visited by aliens. I’m discounting reports of UFOs. Why would they appear only to cranks and weirdos?"

How can you argue with that? Someone should let Ron Paul know.

Hawking added, "Issuing an insurance policy against abduction by aliens appears to be a pretty safe bet.”

As for the universe, the famed theoretical physicist thinks, “primitive life is very common, but intelligent life is very rare. Some would suggest we have yet to see it on Earth.” And, if you were to read Kos and the Huffington Post exclusively, you'd have to agree.

Carter, The Palestinian Puppet

While Jimmy "the dhimmi" Carter was saying Monday that the Palestinian terrorist organization is prepared to accept Israel's right to "live as a neighbor", the number of Palestinians who support attacks against Israelis continued to rise and more than half of them favor suicide bombings, according to a poll published this weekend. In addition, Hamas rejected an Egyptian-mediated ceasefire agreement with Israel.

The peace loving Palestinians who support bombing attacks against Israeli civilians rose from 44.8% in June 2006 to 48% in September 2006 and to 50.7% now.

So, Jimmy, this is how they show their acceptance of Israel? Somebody return this guy to the home.

Al Qaeda Getting Desperate In Iraq

A sure sign that al Qaeda is losing the war in Iraq is when one of their leaders calls for attacks. A terrorist claiming to beAbu Hamza al-Muhajir, also known as Abu Ayyub al-Masri, is trying to rally the his fellow murderers.

"The reason I give this speech is that the enemy declared -- even though it might be lying -- that its death toll in Iraq has reached 4,000," he said. "So we call upon our heroes ... to ask every group within a month from the time it hears this, to offer the head of an American as a gift to the deceitful [President] Bush."

The time has come to cut the heads off the snakes including Muqtada al-Sadr. The Iraqi army, with US support is close to finishing these guys off. Of course, the Democrats will continue their efforts to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Maher, Making Money By Spewing Hate

If there is such a thing as a hate crime then why isn't Bill Maher being prosecuted? He accused Pope Benedict XVI of being a Nazi and then corrected himself by saying, "The pope was not a Nazi when he was a teenager. He was in the Hitler Youth, which meant that he said the oath directly to Hitler and not to the Nazis, which is sort of worse."

Maher is infamous for his anti-Catholic tirades. If I were a subscriber to HBO which provides this scumbucket with a forum, I would cancel and let them know what I think of their pathetic attempt at comedy.

If only he would make Islam the recipient of his bile, we could look forward to finding his headless torso in a back alley somewhere. That would be more amusing then his tired routines.

Obama, One Lie After Another

Barack's been caught in another lie! During the debate the other night, he was asked why he doesn’t wear an American flag lapel pin.

“I have never said that I don’t wear flag pins or refuse to wear flag pins,” Barack stated.

“That is the kind of manufactured issue that our politics has become obsessed with.”

However, during a campaign stop in Iowa last October, when asked why he wasn’t wearing a flag pin to express solidarity with 9/11 victims, Obama said, “You know, the truth is that right after 9/11, I had a pin. Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we’re talking about the Iraq war, that became a substitute for, I think, true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of important to our national security. I decided I won’t wear that pin on my chest.”

Another blatant untruth from the man who likes to refer to untruths as gaffes. It is unlikely you will see the press point out this boldfaced lie, that might be inconvenient for their candidate.

Hamas Endorses Obama

As if there would be any doubt about who the terrorists would like to see in the oval office, Hamas has given its endorsement to Barack Obama.

Ahmed Yousuf, Hamas’ top political adviser in the Gaza Strip, told WorldNetDaily and WABC Radio in New York, “We like Mr. Obama, and we hope that he will win the elections.”

What's not to like if you favor the overthrow of the free world? Obama will carry on in the tradition of Jimmy "the dhimmi" Carter and it will be negotiation by appeasement time.

Seven Synagogues Destroyed In Iran

Seven ancient synagogues in the Iranian capital, Tehran, have been destroyed by local authorities.

The synagogues were in the Oudlajan suburb of Tehran, where many Iranian Jews used to live.

"These buildings, which were part of our cultural, artistic and architectural heritage were burnt to the ground," said Ahmad Mohit Tabatabaii, the director of the International Council of Museums’ (ICOM) office in Tehran.

"With the excuse of renovating this ancient quarter, they are erasing a part of our history," said Tabatabaii.

He called for the government to intervene to stop the work commissioned by the local authorities.

A group of residents of Oudjalan have also sent a letter to the mayor of Tehran asking him to suspend the renovation work being carried out in the suburb.

You won't hear much about this on the news, but if Israel destroyed even one mosque there would be an outcry from the press and dhimmis like Jimmy (Carter).

Little Has Changed

For those of us living near the Mexican border life still holds the same dangers from illegals. On Sunday morning there was a crash of a stolen truck in which two suspected illegal Mexican immigrants were killed, several were injured and several were taken into custody. As usual, the American taxpayer will pick up the tab for all the costs. Four of the injured were flown by EMS helicopters to University Medical Center in Tucson. There were a total of 15 illegals in the pickup, most of them in the bed, covered by a tarp, and more people were stacked inside the cab where the rear seat had been removed

ICE took into custody the driver, Francisco Javier Morquecho-Valdez, 19, a Mexican citizen.

Why are we not billing Mexico for all our costs?

Rumors Of War

A leading member of America’s Jewish community has told Newsmax that a military strike against Iran is not only on the table, but likely.

“Israel is preparing for heavy casualties,” the source said, suggesting that although Israel will not take part in the strike, it is expecting to be the target of Iranian retribution.

“Look at Dick Cheney’s recent trip through the Middle East as preparation for the U.S. attack,” the source said.

Cheney’s hastily arranged 9-day visit to the region, which began on March 16, included stops in Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Oman, Turkey, and the Palestinian territories.

Meanwhile, Iran is asking the U.N. to condemn Israel and demand that it stop threatening to use military force. In a letter to the Security Council , Iran's referred to comments on April 7 by Israel's Infrastructure Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer, warning Tehran that any attack on the Jewish state would result in the "destruction of the Iranian nation."

As usual in this part of the world, the rumors of war are simmering just seconds away from boiling over. If any of this is accurate, we will know before very long.

Obama Claims Not To Be Perfect

Obama is now using the fact that he's not perfect as the excuse for sneering at the working class of America. Get a load of this.

“So I’m not a perfect man and the words I chose, I chose badly. They were subject to misinterpretation, they were subject to be twisted, and I regret that. I regret that deeply. But. But. But. When people suggest that somehow I was demeaning religion. When I know that I’m a man of deep faith, somebody who in my own life has held on to faith, held onto my confidence in God during times of trial and tribulation, then it sounds like there’s some politics being played."

Misinterpretation? Twisted? He was quoted, no one twisted what he said. Politics? What were the odds politics would be involved in a presidential race. This guy has to be one of the most disingenuous charlatans to ever run for office and that is saying a lot.

Terrorist Threat Level Severe In Britain

Why is it so hard to convince people that the war on terror is real?

Britain's Home Secretary, Jacqui Smith, has just issued a warning. "We now face a threat level that is severe. It's not getting any less, it's actually growing," Smith wrote in the editorial to be printed in The News of The World. "There are 2,000 individuals (police and security agencies) are monitoring. There are 200 networks. There are 30 active plots."

Yet, Smith will probably be unable to persuade lawmakers to pass a law allowing police to hold terror suspects up to 42 days without charge. Suspects can now only be held up to 28 days.

Like the Democrats in our own country, some lawmakers in Great Britain seem oblivious to how severe the threat to the populace really is. More concerned with politics than patriotism, they will use any pretext to attack the administration and seem to enjoy their role as a speed bump to needed legislation. When the next terrorist atrocity hits, those who played this role of partisan need to pay with their own lives.

"They" Cling To Guns Or Religion

The real Barack Obama is starting to leak out. Earlier this month he referred to babies as a punishment, an interesting comment from one who claims to be a follower of Jesus Christ. Now, he has belittled people in Pennsylvania for clinging to religion.

"You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them," Obama said.

"And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

As an aide to John McCain said, the comments are "remarkable and extremely revealing."

Barack's words show not just a disdain for the average American, an attitude ingrained by twenty years of Jeremiah Wright sermons, but they also hint as his opinion of religious faith. Religion for Obama is a useful tool of manipulation. He can be Christian or Muslim, just as he can be black or white, depending on what is useful at the moment. Whatever will help him get votes, that is what Obama will become.

We will see more slips of the tongue from Obama before this race is run. His kind of arrogance is impossible to hide.

No Dogs Allowed

A primary school in Amsterdam wishing to expose its students to the religion of Isalm got more than it bargained for during its most recent visit to the El Mouchidine mosque. The chairman told the 10 year olds and their adult escorts that non-Muslims are dogs.

In a letter to the children's parents, the school expressed its regret writing, "We are shocked that during the guided tour, the mosque's chairman told the children and chaperoning parents that non believers were dogs. We consider this statement as unacceptable since we allow our children to partake in this project to develop respect for freedom of religious choice".

The liberal edjimacators just don't get it. These Muslims consider the infidel unacceptable and this time they forgot to hide how they truly feel. It is obvious they do not share the school's respect for freedom of religious choice, but the school claims to be shocked.

McCain Keeps America's Options Open

Republican Sen. John McCain refused to rule out a pre-emptive war against another country, although he said one would be very unlikely.

The likely Republican presidential nominee was asked at a town-hall meeting if he would reject “the Bush doctrine of pre-emptive war.”

“I don’t think you could make a blanket statement about pre-emptive war, because obviously, it depends on the threat that the United States of America faces,” McCain told his audience at Bridgewater Associates Inc., a global investment firm.

“If someone is about to launch a weapon that would devastate America, or have the capability to do so, obviously, you would have to act immediately in defense of this nation’s national security interests.”

Well, score one for McCain. No option should ever be removed from our ability as a nation to respond to a threat.

Even if a Democrat had such feelings, he or she could never voice them because they would be ostracized by the large lunatic group within the party.

Carter To Visit Pals At Hamas?

The perpetual presidential embarrassment to America, Jimmy Carter is packing his depends and heading off to visit Syria. An Arabic newspaper, Al-Hayat, reported that he is planning a trip to for mid-April. To top it off he may be rubbing elbows with Khaled Meshal, the exiled head of the Palestinian terror group Hamas.

Now that Castro is near death, Jimmy is probably interviewing a replacement to keep his terror supporting trips active.

“It’s about par for the course from President Carter, demonstrating a lack of judgment typical of what he does," said John Bolton, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. "To go to Syria to visit Hamas at this point is just an ill-timed, ill-advised decision on his part."

Bolton is being diplomatic. of course, what Carter is doing is typical of his anti-Israel agenda. As I've often said of the old fool, he is merely Billy Carter, sober and wearing shoes.

Guest Worker Program For Arizona?

Illegals already in Arizona and working here will be ineligible for employment even if the state sets up its own guest worker program.

State Senator Marsha Arzberger, Democrat, said the legislation she put together with state Representative Bill Konopnicki, Republican, had to be done so as to avoid opposition from “the anti-immigrant crowd.’’

Notice the spin the liberal bull artist puts on her statement. The crowd as she calls them (read mob) is not anti-immigrant, it is anti-illegal. There's a world of difference.

The left just can't stand it that once the pressure was put on employers, the illegals started to leave the state. Anyway, without the Federal Government's approval these people are just spinning their wheels.

Remembering Charlton Heston

"... Mr. Clinton, sir, America didn't trust you with our health-care system. America didn't trust you with gays in the military. America doesn't trust you with our 21-year-old daughters, and we sure, Lord, don't trust you with our guns."

Clintnocchio

Hillary Clinton has been caught fibbing again. In her campaign, she has been telling the story of an uninsured pregnant woman who lost her baby and died herself after being denied care by an Ohio hospital because she could not come up with a $100 fee.

However, the hospital says the woman was under the care of an obstetrics practice affiliated with the hospital, that she was never refused treatment and that she was, in fact, insured.

Here's the Clinton response. Spokesman, Mo Elleithee, said candidates would frequently retell stories relayed to them, vetting them when possible. “In this case, we did try but were not able to fully vet it,” Mr. Elleithee said. “If the hospital claims it did not happen that way, we respect that.”

But, a spokeswoman for the not-for-profit hospital, said the Clinton campaign had never contacted the hospital to check the accuracy of the story.

Hillary's personal stories need to be vetted, like the one she invented about how she and her daughter, Chelsea, ran for cover under hostile fire shortly after her plane landed in Tuzla, Bosnia. Perhaps her staff is too busy verifying Hillary's tales to spend any time checking the accuracy of stories told by others.

Tax Time, And Still No Representation

I hope you're all having a great weekend. I'm taking this one off to get my taxes done. Taxation without representation. A revolution fought and won? We still aren't represented and we're still being taxed. What a joke. McCain, Clinton and Obama and none of them represent the wishes of the American people. And, as for the senate let's not even go there.

There will be another revolution, sooner would be better than later. Now, if we could only find an oak tree that could support Ted Kennedy.

A Sober Reminder

As a sober reminder that we are still very much at war, read this article at the Daily Mail. It is on the trial of eight Muslims who planned to blow up seven planes within hours of each other. They are accused of conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to commit an act of violence likely to endanger the safety of an aircraft. Although eight are on trial, it is believed that up to 18 suicide bombers could have been involved.

At the time of their arrests, the bombers were almost ready to put their plot into practice. Had they succeeded, it would have been the biggest terrorist atrocity since 9/11.

So, when the weariness of the war begins to weigh on us, it would be wise for us to remember this and other foiled plots. Time is of no matter to these fanatics and they will wait as long as it takes to catch us with our guard down.

"Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it." Thomas Paine, 1777 .

Business As Usual

The Democrat Party thinks that the rules only apply to others, the end justifies the means and character doesn't matter. So, with a customary lack of integrity, their National Committee chairman, Howard Dean, has announced that they are committed to seating Florida's delegates at this summer's convention.

Previously, the party had stripped Florida and Michigan of their delegates because they ignored party rules and moved their primaries to January. But now, with the same carefree abandon the Clintons display toward paroling felons who have helped them, they are willing to say all is forgiven.

Dean says the party is "committed to making sure that we do everything in our power to seat a delegation from Florida." And, make no mistake about it, many of the Democrat leadership need to be committed.

Up next? Michigan!

Open Your Hate Books

The Washington Times reports that the church where Sen. Barack Obama has worshiped for the last twenty years publicly declares that its ministry is founded on a 1960s book that espouses "the destruction of the white enemy." Trinity United Church of Christ's Web site says its teachings are based on the black liberation theology of James H. Cone and his 1969 book "Black Theology and Black Power."

"What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love," Mr. Cone wrote in the book.

There is absolutely nothing Christian about any church which espouses such doctrine. And what manner of ignoramus joins a church without familiarizing himself with its doctrine? Certainly not anyone I want to be in the senate, never mind the oval office.

This kind of hate is disgusting and if Hillary Clinton or John McCain attended a church for twenty years that was founded on "What we need is the divine love as expressed in White Power," you can be absolutely certain their candidacy would be over, finished, finito!

So, ask yourself why is Barack not accountable. Just because he's half black, is he given a "get out of bigotry free" card? It's time Obama answered some hard questions with specifics or is that to much to hope for?

Obama Rewrites History

Barack Obama has been caught fibbing.

In a speech a year ago, Barack Obama credited the Kennedy family with enabling his Kenyan father to study in the U.S., where he met and married Obama’s mother. But now, the Obama campaign has admitted that Obama erred in crediting the Kennedys. Erred or deliberately fabricated so he could tie himself to the Kennedy clan? In fact, Barack Obama Sr. came to the U.S. in September of 1959 in an airlift, while the Kennedy contribution to the program that brought him here was not made until the following year.

This isn't the only history Obama has invented to create convenient roots for himself. In discussing how his parents met, Obama said, “There was something stirring across the country because of what happened in Selma, Alabama, because some folks are willing to march across a bridge. So they got together and Barack Obama Junior was born. So don’t tell me I don’t have a claim on Selma, Alabama.”

In fact, the Selma march occurred four years after Obama’s birth. Mere details to the protege of Jeremiah Wright.

We Don't Need No Stinking Passports

The Washington Times reports that House leaders and the Government Printing Office's watchdog said they are investigating security concerns about the production of electronic passports. The Times reported previously that the GPO chose two European computer chip makers over U.S. manufacturers to make tens of millions of electronic passports. The passports are being assembled in Thailand by one company that was a victim of Chinese economic espionage.

Rep. Bennie Thompson, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, criticized the GPO for using foreign components in new electronic passports.

"It is just plain irresponsible to jeopardize the gold standard in document security by outsourcing production when U.S. companies ought to be able to do the same work here," said Mr. Thompson, who announced that his panel is investigating the outsourcing.

So now the integrity of our passports have been compromised. Ultimately it probably doesn't matter because whoever wants to get in here can simply walk across the Canadian or Mexican border. Still, what nitwit allowed this to happen? Publish the names of those responsible and what the consequences will be for their stupidity.

More Scholarly Musings From Jeremiah Wright

Barack Obama is still trying to dismiss concerns over anti-white and anti-American remarks by his pastor, saying people are paying too much attention to a small number of "stupid" comments.

"This is somebody that was preaching three sermons at least a week for 30 years and it got boiled down ... into a half-minute sound clip and just played it over and over and over again, partly because it spoke to some of the racial divisions we have in this country."

However another of the pastor's remarks has surfaced, this time in writing, with a definite slur against Italians. In the November/December issue of Trumpet Newsmagazine, the pastor offered this scholarly thought, "The Italians for the most part looked down their garlic noses at the Galileans."

There is more than half a minute snippet to suggest what bigotry festers in the core of Jeremiah Wright and his ilk. For Obama to imply anything different shows what he thinks of America.

Known By The Company You Keep

Here's some more info on Merrill “Tony” McPeak, a co-chair of Obama’s presidential campaign. This is the one who compared Bill Clinton to Senator Joe McCarthy.

The Republican Jewish Coalition has called on Senator Barack Obama to remove him as his military advisor and national campaign co-chairman. McPeak blames the failure of the Middle East peace process on the influence of American Jews. The problem, said McPeak is "New York City. Miami. We have a large vote -- vote, here in favor of Israel. And no politician wants to run against it."

He also has a has criticized Israel for not returning to the 1967 borders and for not returning the Golan Heights to Syria. What a military strategist!

Let's see, if someone were to talk about the influence of black voters in some of the recent state races would there be an outcry from the Obama camp? Take it to the bank. So why does Barack, who claims he only wants to unite everybody, have this divisive, mean spirited individual on his team? Wasn't he aware of this guys opinions either?

Democrats Making News

The party of liberalism would have the headlines to itself lately if only the media would identify the affiliation of the following.

New York's new governor, David Paterson, disclosed last week that he and his wife both committed adultery several years ago, and this week he said that he used cocaine in his 20s and smoked marijuana when he was younger. Stay tuned on this one.

Paterson replaced Eliot Spitzer who had liaisons with women from a prostitution service. Investigators believe Spitzer paid up to $80,000 for prostitutes over a period of several years while he was the Attorney General and Governor of New York. "Mr. Clean" was found to be dirty; the "Sheriff of Wall Street" had to get out of town.

And then we have Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick charged with perjury and other counts after sexually explicit text messages surfaced that appear to contradict his sworn denials of an affair with a top aide. Hey, it worked for Clinton.

The Democrat party, progressive degeneration of all moral standards.

The Threat Is Still Out There

Attorney General Michael Mukasey says he has been taken aback by the scope and variety of potential terrorism threats facing the United States.

"It's surprising how varied [the threat] is, how many directions it comes from, how geographically spread out it is," he said.

Yet, the Democrats, the House in particular, refuse to do what is necessary to update the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

The Donks are more interested in playing politics than they are in winning the war on terror.

There You Go Again

Just yesterday, I wrote about the left wing name calling. Well, as my favorite president used to say, "Well...there you go again!"

This time former Clinton White House aide and political strategist James Carville told the New York Times in a story published Saturday that Bill Richardson's decision to endorse Barack Obama was an "act of betrayal."

The endorsement "came right around the anniversary of the day when Judas sold out for 30 pieces of silver, so I think the timing is appropriate, if ironic," Carville said, referring to the Easter weekend.

If nothing else, this shows the audacity of the left. How can you liken the endorsement of your candidate's opponent to the betrayal of the savior of the human race? Of course when you give legitimacy to pastors like Jeremiah Wright, you can believe in anything or anyone.

Happy Easter

He is risen!

Bubba Clinton McCarthy

They've call George Bush, the president of the United States, Hitler. Colin Powell was his house slave. Rudy Giuliani is mentally disturbed. Rice and Cheney are war criminals. The list goes on and on.

No one is safe from the left wing name calling. No longer content to just paint the right with the broad brush of bigots, sexists, racists, nativists and homophobes they are turning on their own.

Merrill “Tony” McPeak, a co-chair of Obama’s presidential campaign, has just compared former President Bill Clinton to Senator Joseph McCarthy. McCarthy of course was the devil incarnate to left wing socialists. For them to compare Clinton to him is beyond the ridiculous it is an outright absurdity.

Of course, at this point Obama's boys will fan the flames of any fire that can be used to draw attention away from Jeremiah Wright and his spiritual bond with Barack. Name calling is the last resort of those who have lost the argument.

Bill and Hillary are becoming the victims of their own monster.

Obama's Typical People

On Thursday, Sen. Barack Obama described his grandmother's racial attitudes as those of a "typical white person."

What I want to know is are there only "typical white people" for Obama or are there "typical black people" as well. If not, why not?

And, if there are typical black people would they be more like Jeremiah Wright or Martin Luther King? Would they be more like Al Sharpton or Juan Williams? Would they be more like Jesse Jackson or Bill Cosby?

Come on, why is no one holding this man's feet to the fire for such an outrageous statement? Why is a man who would trade his grandmother for the nomination a desirable candidate? He makes me want to puke!

Osama And The Cartoon Crusade

Osama bin Laden, the prophet's premier psychotic, has warned Europe that it will be punished for the Danish reprinting of cartoons Muslims find offensive. This time, he has included Pope Benedict in his rantings.

"Your publications of these drawings -- part of a new crusade in which the Pope of the Vatican had a significant role -- is a confirmation from you that the war continues," said bin Laden, addressing "those who are wise at the European Union".

Was he unaware that the war was continuing? Did he not know that we are still hunting his pathetic butt and that many of us would like to see his mouth stuffed with pork rinds and his head impaled on the White House lawn?

Wright Was Wrong

I encourage you to read the column by Armstrong Williams , The Pastor and the Senator. Here is an excerpt.

This past week was not an exemplary moment for the man who has prided himself on integrity and honesty throughout this campaign. The fact is that the senator has no plausible excuse for why he remained a member of Rev. Wright's church. He and his family should have immediately left that congregation for the embrace of a church that teaches the Bible rather than the alienation, lunacy and outright mockery of Christian teachings.

How could a Christian ever allow themselves to sit under such a pastor, thereby giving tacit approval to such an anti-Christian message?

Harder To Swallow Than A Mustard And Relish Sandwich

A very nice speech by Barack telling everyone what they wanted to hear. And I loved the intro by a white guy who made Obama sound like a candidate for Mount Rushmore.

Someone needs to ask why a "Christian" pastor isn't preaching the gospel of Christ as one of grace, mercy and forgiveness. If your pastor isn't preaching Christ and Him crucified that should be enough to make you find a new shepherd.

Obama Knew

More deceit from Obama becomes obvious, as we now find out he was in a pew, nodding in agreement, last July 22nd, while his pastor blamed American whites for the world's problems.

Why then was it that only on Friday he denounced such statements as “inflammatory and appalling”? Why was it that when he saw recent videos showing Wright making such comments as “God damn America,” he claimed to be “shocked”?

The evidence is piling up. Barack knew, yet he did nothing to distance himself from such bigotry until the truth was exposed.

Barack has made bad choices, in his business dealings, in his choice of spiritual mentors and in his administration. That makes him a bad choice for a presidential candidate.

UPDATE: There is some dispute as to Obama being at the July 22nd service. Regardless, for him to claim that he knew nothing of Wright's racism and anti-Americanism is beyond belief.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day

THE BIRTH OF SAINT PATRICK

On the eighth day of March it was, some people say,
That Saint Patrick at midnight he first saw the day;
While others declare 'twas the ninth he was born,
And 'twas all a mistake between midnight and morn;
For mistakes will occur in a hurry and shock,
And some blamed the baby - and some blamed the clock -
'Till with all their cross questions sure no one could know,
If the child was too fast - or the clock was too slow.

Now the first faction fight in old Ireland, they say,
Was all on account of Saint Patrick's birthday,
Some fought for the eighth - for the ninth more would die,
And who wouldn't see right, sure they blacken'd his eye!
At last, both the factions so positive grew,
That each kept a birthday, so Pat then had two,
'Till Father Mulcahy, who show'd them their sins,
Said "No one could have two birthdays, but a twins."

Says he, "Boys, don't be fightin' for eight or for nine,
don't be always dividin' - but sometimes combine;
Combine eight with nine, and seventeen is the mark,
So let that be his birthday." - "Amen," says the clerk.
"If he wasn't a twins, sure our hist'ry will show
That, at least, he's worth any two saints that we know!"
Then they all got blind drunk - which completed their bliss,
And we keep up the practice from that day to this.

Barack Changes Rezko Story

It just keeps coming. Barack Obama said on Friday that indicted Chicago businessman, Antoin "Tony" Rezko, raised up to $250,000 for his previous political campaigns, a higher figure than he previously reported, according to two Chicago newspapers. Rezko is on trial for extorting bribes and campaign donations as well as money laundering.

You'd think Obama would have taken care of putting this guy behind him. At the very least it shows lack of attention to detail on the part of those around him. Unfortunately for Barack it just adds to the pattern of having to answer questions by saying he was unaware of reality.

What's going to pop up next?

Saturday, March 15, 2008

Danger, Will Robinson

First he was connected with Antoin Rezko, Ali Atta and Joseph Aramanda who were donors to his campaign. He donated those funds, pleading ignorance and poor judgment, qualities certainly not desirable in a presidential candidate.

Then, he was promoted by Louis Farrakhan and he backed away from that endorsement.

Now Barack Obama cuts loose his "spiritual advisor" because after a twenty year relationship he didn't know the man was a racist?

Will he remain a member of the church and continue to fellowship with that congregation? What is his wife's opinion? Is she proud to be a member of that "spiritual" community?

There is too much unanswered to consider this man for the senate seat he holds, let alone the chief executive of the most powerful nation on earth.

Warning bells are going off all over the place despite media efforts to muffle them.

Will America pay heed?

They're Back

Well, the average American idiots wanted Democrat control and now they have it in all its spendthrift glory.

The Senate rejected calls from both parties' presidential candidates to take an election-year break from pork-barrel spending as a Democratic-run Congress passed budget plans that would torpedo hundreds of billions of dollars in tax cuts won by President Bush.

This is just a portent of things to come. Take away the presidential veto by installing Obamaman or Shrillary so they can rubber stamp the liberals spending sprees and we can kiss all our investments goodbye. What a sorry state of affairs.

McCain And Romney?

Yesterday, John McCain joked that he got the impression Mitt Romney is interested in the No. 2 spot on the Republican presidential ticket.

That came after watching an interview with Fox News Tuesday night, during which Romney said, “I think any Republican leader in this country would be honored to be asked to serve as the vice presidential nominee, myself included. Of course this is a nation which needs strong leadership. And if the nominee of our party asked you to serve with him, anybody would be honored to receive that call … and to accept it, of course.”

McCain refused to indicate how seriously he is considering Romney, but some reports said aides to President Bush are pushing a McCain-Romney ticket. That would definitely bring some needed economic savy to the table and ease the concerns of many conservatives.

Party Of Prejudice

According to interviews with voters leaving polling places, 9 out of 10 blacks in Mississippi voted for Barack Obama while 7 out of 10 whites voted for Hillary. Could it possibly be that Democrats are voting along, gasp, racial lines?

Could the great liberal, progressive, some of my best friends are party be nothing more than a bunch of bigots? It certainly seems that way.

Where is the outrage? Why is the media not up in arms? The silence is deafening.

One Day Everything Changes

The governor of New York, Eliot Spitzer aka "Mr. Clean," has been caught paying for a high-priced call girl. At a news conference he apologized to his family and the people of New York.

"For the past nine years, eight years as attorney general, and one as governor, I have tried to uphold a vision of progressive politics that would rebuild New York and create opportunity for all. We sought to bring real change to New York and that will continue.

Today I want to briefly address a private matter. I have acted in a way that violates my obligations to my family and violates my, or any, sense of right and wrong. I apologize first and most importantly to my family. I apologize to the public, whom I promised better.

I do not believe that politics in the long run is about individuals. It is about ideas, the public good, and doing what is best for the state of New York. But I have disappointed and failed to live up to the standard I expected of myself. I must now dedicate some time to regain the trust of my family.

I will not be taking questions. Thank you very much. I will report back to you in short order. Thank you very much."

Displaying his usual arrogance, he ignored questions about whether he would resign. Note that he thinks this is a private matter, even though he has broken the law. What else would you expect from a man who wanted illegal aliens to get legitimate drivers licenses?

What is truly sad is this man is the father of three teen daughters. Way to go, dad!

The Enemy Never Rests

Has Al-Qaeda planted moles in Britain's MI5? According to this article, four police officers are under investigation as Sleeper agents. It is thought that they have been keeping Al Qaeda informed of anti-terror raids planned by London's Metropolitan Police.

The terrorists are unrelenting in their attempts to win this war and many of the politicians and citizens in our own country seem oblivious to the threat. How else can you explain the success of Barack Obama?

Mad Muslims Running Amok In Afghanistan

The prophet's psychotics are at it again. Those of the faith of the easily insulted are rioting in Afghanistan over cartoons and a film. They burned Danish and Dutch flags and chanted their usual slogans of "Death to America" and "Long live Al Qaeda."

"We don't want Dutch and Danish forces in Afghanistan. If our government does not kick them out, we will continue our demonstrations until they leave Afghanistan," said one protester. "If these forces do not leave, we are prepared to carry out suicide attacks against them."

Afghanistan is a Muslim nation where criticizing Muhammad or the Koran are crimes that are punishable by death. And we're enabling this insanity.

Wasting Money On Idiots

Why is the IRS wasting $42 million to let us know our checks will soon be in the mail? Democrats accused the Bush administration of wasting time and postage and on this rare occasion they are right.

Keith Hennessey, director of the president's National Economic Council, said the letters are being sent to explain how the tax rebates will work.

Anyone who is too stupid or ignorant to follow the news and comprehend what is a relatively simple process doesn't deserve a letter or a rebate. We are constantly spending money to protect the idiots in the world or guarding ourselves from their asinine behavior. We spend money putting up signs telling us that a stop sign is coming up and then add bumps in the road. Why not just make the driving test a little more difficult, placing the burden on the applicant instead of making the rest of us pay for idiots and uninsured motorists.

Let's have commercials that encourage cretins to try dangerous stunts instead of warning them not to attempt this at home.

I'm sick of having to pay more for products because the morons must be kept from making themselves extinct.

The UN Adds To Its History Of Failure

The massacre of Yeshiva students in Israel couldn't get the UN Security Council to issue a condemnation. Libyan opposition supposedly kept the UNSC from issuing an official statement.

Why are we part of an organization that allows a terrorist third world hell hole like Libya to sit in on such discussions? What a joke! Why are we trying to create a similar hell hole in Palestine? If we're so intent on more terrorist totalitarian states why not just release everyone on death row, arm them, give them foreign aid and let them set up shop in Vermont? Then all the conspiracy loving left-wing lunatics can move there and live their Utopian socialist dream.

Bombing In New York City

From New York City comes a report that authorities are searching for a man on a bicycle as a possible suspect in the Thursday bombing at a military recruiting station in Times Square.

The recruiting office, one of the nation's busiest, has been the site of periodic anti-war protests, The Associated Press reported.

Hopefully they will apprehend the bomber and learn if this is an individual or a group crime. It is odd that the blast is similar to one at the Mexican consulate in October and one at the British consulate in 2005.

There Must Be Something In The Maple Syrup

The preponderance of the evidence suggests that Vermont has become a haven for the cerebrally challenged and mentally deranged.

Last night, they not only picked the Obama man, but voters in two of their towns approved measures calling for the indictment of President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney. They want police to arrest Bush and Cheney if they ever visit Brattleboro or nearby Marlboro. I'm sure the Secret Service would have something to say about that. In fact, I would love to see the confrontation.

"I hope the one thing that people take from this is, 'Hey, it can be done,'" said Kurt Daims, 54, who organized the petition drive that led to the Brattleboro vote. What exactly is that you have done? You have advertised that you and the other inmates in your ward have not been taking your meds and we can expect more psychotic episodes until treatment is administered. I think Kurt should be deputized and sent to make the arrests.

Until Later

Personal business dictates that I do not have time for blogging today. However, it is a big primary day so I'm sure there will be much news of interest, once the day has ended.

Neighborhood News

I took the day off yesterday. I had internet problems and was suffering from LAS. For those of you unfamiliar with that it is a disease afflicting many, better known as Lazy Ass Syndrome.

Meanwhile there are interesting developments in the neighborhood. Colombia launched a raid into Ecuador and killed a top FARC rebel which has caused Ecuador to send troops to the border and of course Hugo Chavez is threatening to also become involved. Perhaps this will develop into a scenario that will hasten his demise.

Elsewhere, the United States and Canada signed a military agreement on February 14th allowing the armed forces from one nation to support the armed forces of the other nation during a domestic civil emergency, even one that does not involve a cross-border crisis. What is this all about and why is there almost no mention of it anywhere?

If We Only Had A Fence

On Tueday afternoon, A US Border Patrol agent approached a truck carrying suspected illegals that had gotten stuck near Calexico. Several of the suspects began throwing rocks, breaking the windshield of the BP vehicle. The agent called for backup, but meanwhile the attackers freed their truck and headed back into Mexico.

It's time to inform the Mexican government that when our law enforcement is attacked we will hunt down the criminals and if that means following them into Mexico then stand aside. We've had to deal with this garbage as far back as Pancho Villa.

Payback Coming To Gaza

Palestinian terorists in Gaza and their mad Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh are locked into suicide mode. As they fire rockets deeper into Israeli territory, they are provoking a military response from the IDF. On Thursday, an Iranian-made rockets struck Ashkelon, a city 11 miles north of Gaza.

The coward Haniyeh had been in hiding for weeks lest he be in the same danger he willingly subjects the elderly and women and children to, but on Friday he emerged for prayers and vowed Hamas would not be intimidated.

What a laugh, is he praying to satan? How can Hamas not be intimidated when their leader is in hiding?

"You are mistaken if you thought that targeting buildings, ministries and police stations is going to stop our work," Haniyeh said, directing his comments at Israel. "We will work under trees, in tents and in the streets."

Of course he will not be doing that. More likely he will be in a bunker or perhaps a mosque, hospital or orphanage, dressed as a woman and hiding behind children.

Given no choice except to invade Gaza, I hope the IDF eliminates the cowardly swine Haniyeh. There is no reason to take him alive.
