Goodnight, Kofi

Kofi Annan, the beleaguered secretary-general of the United Nations, has claimed that a "lynch mob" is out to "destroy" him in the wake of the Iraq oil-for-food debacle and other UN scandals.

Kofi is playing the victim, as if there is no basis for people wanting him out of office. No one has to "destroy" him, he and his son have done a pretty good job of it by themselves. And what is this "lynch mob" crap? Is he trying to turn this into a racial issue?

Annan is crooked or inept and possibly a little of both. Of course, that means he's working for the right organization. Seriously though, say goodnight, Kofi.
