Air Strikes In Somalia

CNN reports that a U.S. AC-130 gunship attacked suspected al Qaeda targets in southern Somalia. Associated Press is now reporting new strikes have been launched. The USS Dwight D. Eisenhower had moved within striking distance of Somalia and its planes may be involved.

It seems like we could take some lessons from Ethiopia who haven't hesitated to take the fight to the islamomaniacs including al Qaeda. The Somali militant group, the Islamic Courts Union, has long been accused by the US of harboring suspects in the 1998 bombings of the U.S. embassies in Tanzania and Kenya. It's way past time for retribution. Let's pray the time has come at long last and these muslim murderers get to rendezvous with allah.
